Lindsay Lohan’s Father Michael Arrested, Accused Of Drug Treatment Scam

The Lohan family has experienced its fair share of scandals. Lindsay Lohan has faced a number of personal issues including substance abuse, DUIs, arrests, and behaviors that conflicted with her child star persona. The actress wasn’t the only person in her family to have their names in the headlines, either. Her mother, Dina, was previously arrested on a DWI and her father, Michael Lohan, has been entangled in the gossip rags after being taken into custody for domestic violence, investigated for insider trading, and arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On Friday (April 23), Michael Lohan’s name reappeared, and this time reports state that the 60-year-old was arrested and hit with six charges in connection to patient brokering.

According to PEOPLE, Lohan was taken into custody in Florida after police alleged that he would take drug addicts to treatment centers “in exchange for illegal kickbacks.” State Attorney Dave Aronberg reportedly told NBC News, “Mr. Lohan was investigated by our Sober Homes Task Force and he’s being charged with receiving kickbacks for referring patients to drug treatment.”

“Patient brokering corrupts our health care system because decisions are motivated by greed instead of a patient’s needs,” Aronberg added. “This is our Task Force’s 117th arrest and will not be our last.”

It is unclear how much money Lohan is accused of accepting in the alleged scam, as is the amount of time he’s looking at in prison if convicted of the charges. His attorney has yet to release a statement or respond to reports.

Deyjah Harris Explains Why She Won’t Speak About T.I. On Social Media Anymore

Her life was turned upside down back in 2019 after she became a trending topic. T.I. and his teen daughter were entangled in “Hymengate” those years ago, but they’ve since mended fences and repaired their father-daughter relationship. However, whenever Deyjah mentions the rapper, the public sends off negative responses, and after this last clash with her Twitter followers, Deyjah has decided not to mention him any longer.

On Instagram, Deyjah hosted one of her “Ask Me Anything” sessions and someone wanted to know why she decided to remove a recent tweet. In it, Deyjah detailed waking up in the early morning hours to her father asking if she wanted juice, then immediately feeling charley horse in her leg. It was a random tweet with no real purpose other than to share a story, but people insinuated all sorts of inappropriate scenarios.

Deyjah started her answer by saying she was aware that there would be some people who misconstrued the purpose of the post. She wanted to highlight getting a charley horse, but many readers were only interested in assuming why her father was giving her juice at that time. “Making DISGUSTING assumptions,” she wrote.

“I’m the type of person to include every detail in a story lol,” she continued. “Imma tell you what time it was, what color the sky was, what type of mattress i was laying on (i’m being facetious but y’all get what I’m saying!!) so that’s why i said the juice part, what time it was, etc. but it was completely blown out of proportion.”

“I know that if I said my mom brought the juice, it wouldn’t have been as serious,” she added. “Which made me feel bad because i know that i can no longer speak on him anymore (on social media). that was my fault though, i should’ve just kept to myself instead of thinking i could be open with twitter like that, that’s my fault.”

Mulatto Imagines Nicki Minaj Collab: “Some Bar For Bar Sh*t”

They’ve already established a mutual appreciation for one another and now all fans are waiting for is a collaboration. Mulatto has been vocal about her Barb status, often fawning over Nicki Minaj on social media. After sharing images and videos of herself showing love to Nicki, the Queen rapper sent out a simple tweet praising the rapper, sending Mulatto into full stan status.

During her interview with The Morning Hustle, Mulatto was asked what it would look like if she built her perfect record, and of course, Minaj is a must.

“Oh, that’s crazy. Other artists, like feature-wise? I’mma ay Nicki,” Big Latto began. “Nah, I feel like when me and Nicki do a song, I want it to be like, some bar for bar sh*t. Like, some old school sh*t. I don’t want it to be like, what they gon expect, like some summer twerk anthem.” A collaboration isn’t completely out of the picture, considering Nicki did say that the Georgia rapper was “dope.”

We’re not sure if this one will materialize, but fans have noted that Mulatto referenced the dream collab as a “when,” and not and “if.” Check out Mulatto’s full interview with The Morning Hustle below and let us know if this collab is something you’d like to hear.

DJ Envy Catches Heat After Saying Ma’Khia Bryant Shooting Was Justified

The great debate about the Ma’Khia Bryant case has found its way to The Breakfast Club. Earlier this week, 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant was shot and killed by Columbus, Ohio police officer Nicholas Reardon. Reardon was responding to a call allegedly made by Ma’Khia or her sister after several women repeatedly showed up to her foster home to fight her. When Reardon approached the scene, he was immediately confronted by Ma’Khia and another person fighting each other. During the fray, Ma’Khia was holding a knife and looked to be attacking a second person before Reardon shot her four times in the chest.

The polarizing event has one side that applauded Reardon for saving someone’s life, while the other side sees Ma’Khia’s actions as defending herself. Columbus police, the foster care system, and the adults at the scene have been called into question, and on The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy were at odds over if the shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant was justified.

“He definitely could have shot her in the leg or something,” said Charlamagne. “But that’s not the way police officers operate. That’s not the way that they’re trained. I think it was excessive and I do not think that young girl should be dead today. Even if this is one that’s legally justified, I’ve heard social workers say they’ve broken up knife fights. I refuse to believe that was the only way to handle that situation.”

DJ Envy took a different stance. “I don’t agree with you on this one,” he said. “I mean, the cop got a call that said that, you know, these women were jumping somebody. They hop out the car and see a woman going at another woman with a knife. Yeah, maybe, if they would have shot her in the foot, or shot her in the leg, who’s to say she still couldn’t stab the young girl.”

Charlamagne asked Envy if he thought shooting the teen “four times was excessive.” Envy, answered, “No. I honestly don’t.” His co-host seemed stunned by his answer. “And the reason I don’t think that is because everybody sees one side,” Envy continued. “Think about the other side. Think about if that was your daughter.”

His co-host chimed in to vocalize his disagreement, saying that he’s a father and couldn’t imagine shooting a teen in that scenario. Charlamagne also stated that police have used deadly force on citizens without provocation, and without the victim being armed or posing an alleged threat. Envy was unfazed. Check out the clip, and a few responses, below.

Jake Paul Is Heated Over Pete Davidson Fight Commentary: “F*ck That Guy”

He raked in big bucks to fight Ben Askren and although Jake Paul is still celebrating his win, he has directed his ire toward Pete Davidson. The Saturday Night Live comedian was hired by Triller Fight Club PPV to host Paul and Askren’s bout, but Davidson used the opportunity to poke fun at the budding boxer.

Portions of his commentary were censored, but people have speculated about what Davidson said. While on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul’s father said he wanted to fight Davidson while the boxer revealed that he was the one who suggested that Davidson host.

Apparently, the comedian wants to return for future events, but Paul said, “F*ck that guy.” Paul added, “He won’t do sh*t. He won’t ever be a part of one of those ever again... And I hate—this is the problem with like, drama and sh*t. ‘Cause it just brings everyone more clout. It brings him more clout. But it’s like, just f*ck that guy.”

It was suggested that Davidson, like several others, weren’t big fans of the event, including Saweetie’s performance. Paul’s response to that complaint was if they didn’t want to see it, they wouldn’t have tuned in. Check out the clip from Impaulsive below.

D.C Pastor Arrested For Using $1.5 Mill PPP Loan To Buy 39 Cars: Report

The Feds are not playing around when it comes to the government’s money. Businesses filled out mountains of paperwork in order to receive government assistance during the COVID-19 quarantine, and while most applications were valid, the scammers were quick to make big bucks. We’ve previously reported on multiple instances of citizens being arrested and-or charged for fraud in connection with misappropriating PPP Loan funds, including Pretty Ricky singer Baby Blue. The latest viral story involved a Washington, D.C. pastor.

According to The Christian Post, Pastor Rudolph Brooks Jr. of Kingdom Tabernacle of Restoration Ministries is alleged to have received over $1.5 million from the PPP, or the Paycheck Protection Program. It’s stated that his congregants didn’t receive that money, but Brooks reportedly purchased 39 vehicles with the funds.

The Department of Justice reportedly claims that the 45-year-old pastor was taken into custody weeks ago. His cars allegedly include a 2018 Tesla Model 3, two 2017 Infinity Q50s, a 2014 GMC Yukon XL, and 2005 Bentley, and “several older model luxury vehicles.” Brooks is the reported owner of a business that purchases and sells cars and he filed for a PPP loan back in May 2020.

The PPP money was deposited into a business account but authorities claim that there transferred to Brooks’s personal account. “The funds were used to cover personal expenses like credit card bills, purchases at restaurants, retail stores, grocery stores and automotive auctioneers,” reports The Christian Post. “The funds were also used for mortgage payments on the pastor’s Cheltenham home.”

Brooks has been reportedly charged with wire fraud and is looking at upwards of 20 years in prison.

Lamar Odom Rejects Notion Of “Kardashian Kurse”: “You Dumbasses”

His marriage to Khloé Kardashian may have ended years ago and his ties to the Kardashian-Jenners are things of the past, but Lamar Odom is sticking up for his former in-laws. The basketball icon has seen troublesome days, including his near-death experience in 2015. Odom suffered multiple heart attacks and strokes, and even then, Khloé rushed to be by her then-estranged husband’s side. In a recent interview with VladTV, Odom dispelled any talk of there being a “Kardashian Kurse” regarding men in the family’s life.

After Khloé filed for divorce in December 2013, Odom says he wanted to “give her what she wants” and didn’t contest the petition. Recently, he’s expressed regret over the demise of his marriage, and now he’s shutting down speculation that anything he experienced was because of the family he married into.

Vlad also asked about the “Kardashian Kurse,” a pop culture phenomenon that suggests any man who gets involved with the Kardashian-Jenner women is destined for downfall. Kanye West and Scott Disick were mentioned, but Odom thinks it’s a ridiculous concept.

“That’s stupidity because everybody goes through sh*t, you dumbasses,” said Odom. “If I had your family on tape and seen all the sh*t that your family’s going through, you’d be like, yo, this f*ckin’ family is crazy. See all the drug addicts, all the sex, all the…they shared they life with you. So, you see everything. Maybe it’s over-exposed, but people love it. The people that made them are the people that point the fingers. It’s kind of like, sickening, a little bit.”

He added that he’s still trying to wrap his head around the hate that the Kardashian-Jenner family receives. Watch the clip from Odom’s interview below.
