Travis Scott got to celebrate his 29th birthday on Friday and for the most part, he was stationed up in Nassau, Bahamas where he got to spend some time on the beach. Scott was also seen riding jetskis and chilling on a yacht which is certainly a great way to spend your big day. Scott also received birthday wishes from numerous people in the hip-hop world and he also got some well wishes from the Kardashian and Jenner family.

According to TMZ, Scott came home from Nassau over the weekend and he made his first stop in Miami. It was here that Scott was seen on a massive private jet which he reportedly owns. Based on TMZ’s report, this was actually bought last Christmas, and it costs an amount of money that none of us could truly fathom. For photos of the jet, you can check them out here.

This is a big-time for Scott who also released a brand new pair of shoes on Friday to coincide with his birthday. In addition to this, Scott is in the midst of recording a brand new album, which has many fans excited for what is to come.

It’s been over three years since Cardi B unleashed her debut album, Invasion Of Privacywhich remains a commercial success on the charts. The single “Be Careful” caught many off-guard, especially since no one ever really expected to hear the “Bodak Yellow” rapper showcase a softer side of herself. However, it’s still a fan favorite off of the project and recently got the remix treatment from one of R&B’s latest queens.

Chloe Bailey has remained one of the most promising young stars in R&B. While Chloe x Halle is still riding high off of Ungodly Hour, Chloe has been taking to the ‘Gram with short covers of some of her favorite records. She’s remixed records from Yung Bleu, Silk Sonic, and more which received praise from their fans and the artists she’s covering. The latest record she flipped is the Invasion Of Privacy single, “Be Careful” which has since received Cardi B’s stamp of approval.

“This is soo beautiful got me smiling from ear to ear and blushing maa hard,” she wrote on Twitter. “You see this how I thought I sounded on the track.”

Chloe replied, “you BODIED this, thank you for this song.”

Drake is currently gearing up to release his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy which was slated to drop back in January. After getting surgery on his ACL, Drake had to delay the release of the project although he has continuously stayed in communication with his fans about what’s going. At this point, it seems like a summer release is the likeliest option, especially when you consider how Drake’s music always seems to have that summer flavor to it.

In order to get the album out in time for his fans, the artist has been spending long days and nights at the studio. These sessions have been documented by the people around him and he is never shy to showcase some of the pictures on his Instagram account.

These shots are all in black and white and they showcase Drake fully in his element during the recording period. Drake has dubbed these “The Sunset Sessions” and we can only imagine what kind of music is being made during these moments.

Just hours before family, friends, and fans of DMX paid their final respect, Irv Gotti made a major claim surrounding the passing of DMX. The Murder Inc. CEO claimed that X had passed away from an overdose of “bad crack” mixed with fentanyl. He also disclosed that DMX had tested positive for COVID-19 while hospitalized. He immediately received backlash from 50 Cent who publicly blasted him for his comments and Swizz Beatz who referred to Gotti as a clown.

Gotti apologized this weekend after communicating with X’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons who informed him that none of the claims he made had been confirmed.

“I apologize for talking out of turn. In my defense. I honestly thought I wasn’t saying anything that everyone didn’t hear already. If anyone thinks the love I have for X is nothing but genuine unconditional love,” said Gotti. 

Following news of Gotti’s apology, 50 Cent offered one of his own to those closest to DMX including Swizz Beatz and Jadakiss. He offered his condolences while explaining that he processes death differently than others after losing so many friends and family members in his lifetime. 

“I don’t deal with losing people well, over the years i lost so many people i don’t process things the right way,” he explained. “So i wait till i feel something to say something R.I.P to DMX, I’ll say what i feel when i’m around people i know loved him. God bless him !”

It feels like Lil Durk finds himself a new internet rumor every weekend. This week, the rapper was at the center of fan speculation that he and his lady India Royale called it quits.

The rumors began after fans pointed out that they stopped following each other on the ‘Gram. However, what made it worse was a slew of cryptic tweets Durk sent out into the world. One picture was captioned, “Never cared,” while another post read, “Chase who yea ok.” In the following tweet, he wrote, “Them Lil n***as ain’t big dawgs they tricking you.” That’s when fans suspected that they broke up.

As fans began speculating over Durk’s relationship status, the rapper made it clear that he and India Royale are going strong. In fact, he seemed caught off-guard by the internet chatter.

“Wait idk what y’all thinking I’m talking bout but this ain’t that y’all definitely ain’t finna play wit India or disrespect her period,” wrote Durk in a since-deleted tweet. He followed that up with a scathing warning to anyone peddling and spreading that rumor.

“It piss me off how y’all change shit around tryna make it like somebody a hoe talking bout her like talking bout my kids kill that rumor my bitch ain’t nun like you goofy hoes,” he added.
