DaBaby Gets Caught Liking Shady Tweets About Dua Lipa

DaBaby has fully invested himself in becoming the biggest hip-hop villain in the country, sharing his homophobic views and doubling down with multiple disrespectful comments this week. Over the weekend, the rapper shamed his fans living with HIV and AIDS, as well as his gay fans, by calling them out during the Rolling Loud festival. He attempted to justify his comments by claiming that his gay fans aren’t the “nasty” ones with AIDS. Then, he released a music video at the height of the controversy to capitalize.

As he continues to be a major trending topic on social media with people attempting to cancel him, DaBaby has outdone himself again. Previously, his “Levitating” collaborator Dua Lipa addressed his homophobia and said she was “horrified” over his comments. That prompted the Charlotte native to “like” a series of shady tweets about their song, including posts that suggest that the track is only popular because of his feature.

“@DUALIPA soooo when you gonna remove that remix with @DaBabyDaBaby?! We waiting…” tweeted one fan of Dua’s, which DaBaby liked. “Patiently waiting for @DUALIPA to pull her song with @DaBabyDaBaby off streaming services,” shared another, which ended up in Baby’s likes.

The one that people are talking about the most reads, “It’s funny how @DUALIPA song levitating is only number 1 because @DaBabyDaBaby is on it. You’re welcome. Because I deadass only heard of you because of Dababy.”

Dua Lipa has been culturally relevant for a minute, having an incredible Grammy campaign last year with her album Future Nostalgia. Check out some of DaBaby’s liked tweets about her below.

Nick Cannon Has Everyone Laughing With His Response To Saweetie’s Tweet

Nick Cannon keeps on having babies with different women, but he says that he’s intentionally trying to build a large family. However, with Saweetie telling her followers that she’s about to make a big announcement, Nick felt the need to preemptively issue a statement, claiming that he has absolutely nothing to do with whatever she’s got to say this week.

“Big mama got a secret to share tomorrow!!!” wrote Saweetie on Twitter last night. Most of her fans believe her announcement will have something to do with her long-awaited debut studio album Pretty Bitch Music, but some suggested that the 28-year-old rapper may be pregnant. Saweetie presently doesn’t have a partner (that we know of) so that much would be surprising, but still, Nick Cannon wanted the world to know that if she is expecting, he’s not responsible.

The Shade Room posted Saweetie’s tweet as news, prompting Nick to leave a comment, saying, “It’s Not mine!!!!!,” with a laughing emoji.

The comment had everyone cackling, with over 67,000 people “liking” the post. This comes after the actor welcomed his third child into the world this year, marking a total of seven kids now. Many of his kids have different mothers, which has invited comments from the rest of the world, who seemingly think that he’s accidentally knocking everyone up. He has said that he’s having these babies on purpose, though.

Lil Nas X Issues Expert “Response” To Boosie & T.I.

Lil Nas X has the top trending song in the country right now, so it isn’t a surprise to see how people have reacted to his success, yet again trying to tear him down with homophobic comments and hate.

On Sunday, DaBaby hopped on stage at Rolling Loud and shared his damaging, ignorant take on people living with HIV and AIDS, as well as gay men. After he earned a well-deserved amount of backlash for his comments, T.I. attempted to back him up by bringing Lil Nas X, who wasn’t mentioned during the rant, into the conversation. T.I. said that if Lil Nas X can live his truth, then DaBaby should be allowed to spread homophobic comments. Boosie Badazz also had an opinion on the matter, going live and calling Lil Nas X a homophobic slur before saying he would beat up the pop star if he performed naked, which he’s said he wants to do.

As “INDUSTRY BABY” continues to dominate the streaming charts on the way to a strong debut on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, Lil Nas X has officially issued a masterful “response” to T.I. and Boosie, baiting them into giving him some extra sales support.

“i usually don’t respond to negativity from my peers. but this had to be said,” he wrote on Twitter, sharing a fan’s tweet with a link to what appears to be a video response to the two rappers. Once you click in though, it simply leads to the “INDUSTRY BABY” video. Once again, perfect execution from Lil Nas X. This man knows how to navigate the internet.

We’ll keep you posted on all the latest in this controversy. Check out Lil Nas’s “response” below.

GLAAD Issued A Statement Calling DaBaby’s Rampant Homophobic Rhetoric ‘Inaccurate, Hurtful, And Harmful’

Things just keep getting worse for North Carolina rapper DaBaby, who had risen quickly to become a popular presence in mainstream rap up until this weekend. After his bizarre comments from the stage at Rolling Loud hit the internet, nearly everyone (hey T.I., Tory Lanez and Boosie) responded to his homophobic comments with blatant disgust, but the rapper just kept doubling down. Then, he even released a video that seemed to further double down.

Artists like Dua Lipa, who had previously collaborated with DaBaby on the “Levitating” remix (fans already replaced his verse, natch) and Elton John, a well-known advocate for the LGBTQ community, have already spoken out against his stereotyping and now, GLAAD has weighed in too. GLAADD, aka the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation said

“The rhetoric that DaBaby used is inaccurate, hurtful, and harmful to the LGBTQ community and the estimated 1.2 million Americans living with HIV,” DaShawn Usher, associate director of communities of color for GLAAD, wrote in a statement via Twitter. “It is critical that DaBaby and his fans learn that people living with HIV today, when on effective treatment, lead long and healthy lives and cannot transmit HIV. While DaBaby has made haphazard attempts to ‘apologize,’ actions need to be taken for full accountability. It further confirms what @GLAAD reported last year in the State of HIV Stigma Study that stigma and misinformation around HIV is widespread, and there is much work to be done to educate the public, including entertainers.”

Here’s hoping some of fthis starts to get through to the young rapper… at some point.

Rihanna Defends “Real Housewives” Star After Singer Was Mentioned On Show

It is widely known that Rihanna is a fan of Bravo’s Real Housewives series, and she recently gave a nod to the New York franchise. Like millions of others, Rihanna has a soft spot for reality television, and as the singer has been spotted enjoying time with her beau ASAP Rocky, she has apparently been keeping tabs on what’s going on with the cast of rich housewives and divorcees.

On a recent episode of the Real Housewives of New York, Leah McSweeney, the founder of the famed Married to the Mob streetwear brand, argued with fellow cast member Ramona Singer. In a scene, Singer snubs Leah and her company, insinuating that she wouldn’t wear the Mob brand. “You’re not exactly my demographic,” McSweeney retorts. “It’s all good. I have Rihanna wearing my sh*t, do you think I need you wearing my sh*t?”

The moment caught Rihanna’s attention and although she has quite the busy schedule hopefully finishing up that album, the singer took a moment to give Leah a nod. Rihanna not only reposted a clip of the scene, but she also posed in Married to the Mob’s “B*tch Mob” t-shirt while giving her best mean mug.

“What was said @ramonasinger ? [crying laughing emoji] #RHONY,” she wrote in the caption. Leah did a bit of reposting and added that Ri is a “woman who supports women.” Check it out below.
