Gospel Great Yolanda Adams Returns With ‘Sunny Days’ Her First Album In 13 Years

unnamed 16

Yolanda Adams, the platinum-selling legendary gospel singer makes her grand return today with the release of her latest solo studio album, Sunny Days, the four-time GRAMMY winner’s first album since 2011’s Becoming. Sunny Days is a 15-track offering and includes features from Terry Hunter, Sir The Baptist and Donald Lawrence.

The release of Sunny Days comes amidst Ms. Adams’ co-headlining The Reunion Tour with some of gospel’s most decorated heavyweights: Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters and Kierra Sheard-Kelly. The 29-date trek is underway and in the thick of its midwestern swing; Ms. Adams will perform live in Cincinnati, OH this evening. Ticket and tour stop information is here.

Sunny Days is supported by its lead single, “Church Doors,” a resounding and powerful performance from Yolanda Adams, who reprises her role as one of the most explosive vocal performers in all of music—sacred or secular—on her first new single in over a decade. “The world has been through so much,” Adams said of the song’s theme to Billboard. “So to have some good news about what God has done is what we need right now. Ms. Adams is joined by Sir the Baptist, Donald Lawrence and J. Ivy on two remixes of the song, both by three-time GRAMMY-nominated house DJ Terry Hunter. Earlier this month, Ms. Adams performed the heralded new single on The Tamron Hall Show, a performance that left fans in awe of her continued excellence on social media.

“I’ve had so many producers say hey why don’t you come and do this,” says Ms. Adams about her commitment to gospel music in conversation with Indiana’s News 8 while on tour. “But I look at the patterns of different types of music. Gospel music is the only genre where you can sing from the age of 13 to the age of 100. Because, my thing is, if I’m using my gift in the right way then God will always provide.”

Cardi B Delivers Exciting Album Update After Daughter’s Birth

Cardi B has a lot on her plate at the moment, as she just gave birth to her third child with Offset. The baby arrived just over a month after it was revealed that the two rappers were getting a divorce. They appear to be on good terms despite the split, and it doesn’t look like Cardi is letting any of this slow her down. Earlier this week, the “Enough” rapper took to Twitter/X to deliver an update on her upcoming album.

The project doesn’t have an official title yet, or a release date, but fans are hoping it will arrive sometime this year. While it’s unconfirmed whether or not this will happen, Cardi says she’s hard at work on it. “Now is crunch time [album emoji] on my kids,” she wrote simply.

Cardi B Says It’s “Crunch Time”

Of course, fans have been waiting for Cardi’s sophomore album for years now, ever since the 2018 release of her debut Invasion Of Privacy. It looks like it’ll arrive sooner rather than later, based on the number of hints she’s been dropping about it lately. Last week, for example, she posted the number 11 on her Instagram broadcast channel. The cryptic message left fans to speculate. It also reminded them of Cardi’s BET Experience performance in June. For the show, she rocked a bedazzled jersey featuring the number 11. Similarly, it had viewers suspicious, and many believed it was a hint at the release date of her next project.

For now, supporters will just have to wait to hear more about the upcoming album, and about these latest developments in Cardi’s personal life. What do you think of Cardi B claiming it’s crunch time for her upcoming album? Are you looking forward to hearing it when it finally drops? What about her giving birth to her third child with Offset? Kalenna Harper Denies Seeing Diddy Engage In “Abusive Or Unlawful” Behavior

Earlier this week, Diddy was hit with another lawsuit, this time from Diddy-Dirty Money member Dawn Richard. She accuses the Bad Boy Records founder of sexual and emotional abuse, as well as assaulting his ex Cassie in front of her. In the suit, she alleges that she and Kalenna Harper witnessed him abuse Cassie on multiple occasions. Harper, on the other hand, denies this.

In a statement posted on her Instagram story today, Harper addresses the lawsuit. She says that some of Richard’s allegations don’t reflect her own experiences. “While I fully respect Dawn’s right to recount her experiences, I want to emphasize that her account reflects her personal perspective and should not be interpreted as a universal truth applicable to everyone involved,” the statement reads.

“Many of the allegations and incidents described in this suit are not representative of my experiences,” it continues. “And some do not align with my own truth.” Harper went on to add that she herself doesn’t recall witnessing “any behavior that could be considered abusive or unlawful.” Harper’s statement arrives only a few months after she defended Diddy in Rolling Stone‘s piece about his legal saga.

“Singer-songwriter Kalenna Harper says one of the highs of her life was joining Combs’ Diddy-Dirty Money group in 2009,” the outlet wrote. “‘He was f**king cool as sh*t,’ she says, adding that artists who blame Combs for the trajectory of their careers may suffer from ‘disgruntled employee syndrome.’” What do you think of Kalenna Harper claiming that some of the allegations in Dawn Richard’s lawsuit against Diddy don’t align with her own experiences? Nicki Minaj Reacts To Lil Wayne’s Vulnerable Super Bowl Snub Response

Last weekend, Kendrick Lamar announced that he’ll be headlining the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans. The news prompted mixed reactions from social media users. While some can’t wait to see Kendrick take the stage in February, others think the opportunity should have gone to Lil Wayne. Weezy took to Instagram yesterday to issue a response to the outrage, revealing that he was incredibly hurt by the decision.

“That hurt,” he said in part. “I thought that there was nothing better than that spot and that stage and that platform in my city. So it hurt, it hurt a whole lot.” The heartfelt video has since earned sympathy from his supporters and peers, including Nicki Minaj. She was among the first to call out Jay-Z and Roc Nation for the apparent snub. Now, she’s taken to Lil Wayne’s comments section to show her support, and to offer him some words of encouragement.

Nicki Minaj Leaves Lil Wayne Some Words Of Encouragement

“This too, shall pass,” her message begins. “But what you have done for the hip-hop culture will remain. It will stand the TEST of time. Many times our greatest & most dehumanizing test is just a way for God to get the glory. You were simply used in a war of egos. To ppl who are empty inside, all they have is their temporary power.”

While some Instagram users in DJ Akademiks’ comments section can’t blame Nicki for being upset, others think the paragraph was a bit much. After all, there’s no saying whether or not Lil Wayne would have had a guaranteed spot as a headliner if it weren’t for Kendrick. What do you think of Nicki Minaj responding to Lil Wayne’s video about not headlining the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show earlier today? Do they have a right to be this upset, or is this too much? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Bianca Censori Flaunts Her Barely-Covered Curves While In China With Kanye West

Bianca Censori clearly isn’t letting up with her revealing and curvy style that has apparently inspired other influencers to get more lewd. Moreover, she donned a sheer nude-colored top and leggings while exploring China with her husband Kanye West, and they were turning heads everywhere they went. You can click on the “Via” link down below to see the pictures and videos for yourself. This footage is from the couple’s time in the Intercontinental Hotel’s lobby in Haikou this morning (Friday, September 13). As for Ye, he wore an all-white tracksuit, so he was a bit more secretive and snug to balance out his wife’s more loose ensemble.

As you probably already know, Bianca Censori and Kanye West have been traveling the world for the past couple of years, popping up all over Europe, Asia, and the Americas, along with some other continents and countries. A lot of this is for Ye’s VULTURES rollout and listening parties, such as his recent event with Ty Dolla $ign in Korea. Bianca and his kids were there to support, so we assume they’ve all been able to share some quality time.

Elsewhere, as for Bianca Censori’s husband, Kanye West is not in the best place right now, whether with his fans or the world at large. VULTURES 2 underwhelmed in every sense of the word, and between lawsuits, misconduct allegations, and a whole lot of bigotry, his public image remains tarnished. But that doesn’t mean that Ye will disappear or lay low for the rest of the year… After all, it’s never long until he pops up again. Playboi Carti recently teased that they will have more collabs on the Atlanta creative’s upcoming album.

Meanwhile, Azealia Banks recently went on a wild rant (partially) against Kanye West, accusing him of physically abusing Bianca Censori. “Tell the world about how Kanye is Beating up Bianca Censori and how he threw a chair at northwest the other day big mouth,” she shared on Twitter against Ye’s associate Milo Yiannopoulos. “Tell the story of you and Elon making racist jokes about Kanye as if the two of you don’t both look like f***in hog cheese.”

What are your thoughts & standouts so far ? I have the same feeling I had when KDOT dropped Section 80,” he wrote on Instagram. “She’s 1 of those ones 4sho !!!! #TDE20 #TimelessClassicMusic.”

Doechii Says She Doesn’t Have The Right Record Yet

“I’ma say this. I don’t assume anything and I also don’t feel entitled to a Kendrick feature,” she said when asked whether or not she “expected” a verse from Kendrick. “But I would absolutely love that. That’s the goal. I’m sure that like, for my debut project, eventually I’m gonna ask Top if he could ask Kendrick, or ask Kendrick myself and see what comes from that.” Doechii continued, revealing that she doesn’t feel like she has the right record yet. She says she wants to approach the collab a certain way, which she’s not prepared for at this point.

“I’ma be real. I don’t think I have the record right now for that opportunity. I think I would have to come a certain way and I don’t think I’m ready for that,” she explained. Fortunately, it appears as though fans won’t have to wait too much longer to hear them on the same track. What do you think of Doechii claiming that she doesn’t have the record for a Kendrick Lamar feature at this point?
