Now, fans can share in the exclusive experience of this iconic space in an entirely new way.

Here’s what’s going down … In honor of the film’s 40th anniversary, Airbnb is offering 25 one-night stays at the restored Purple Rain house. Guests can book this exclusive opportunity from October 26 through December 14, with each stay accommodating up to four guests for just $7 per person—a nod to Prince’s favorite number.

When it comes to authenticity, the house’s redesign has been overseen by iconic bandmates Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman, members of Prince’s legendary The Revolution band.

What’s more is the duo worked closely with Paisley Park Enterprises and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to create an immersive experience that pays homage to Prince’s creative genius and the lasting legacy of Purple Rain. “This project is about so much more than nostalgia,” said Melvoin. “We wanted to offer fans a chance to truly feel Prince’s spirit in every detail.”

It gets better. During their stay, guests can expect a number of carefully curated touches:

The Kid’s World, Reimagined: The home’s interior transports guests into the world of Purple Rain, with purple velvet wallpaper, a vintage 1980s stereo loaded with music that inspired the character of The Kid, and QR codes offering behind-the-scenes insights from Wendy and Lisa.
Tribute to “When Doves Cry”: The house features a spa area with a claw-foot tub and stained-glass windows, reminiscent of the famous music video. Lavender bath bombs, purple robes, and face masks complete the luxurious experience.
Rockstar Wardrobe: Guests can view some of Prince’s legendary outfits, displayed behind glass, and even dress up in 80s-inspired fashion, including accessories and makeup designed to channel their inner rockstar.
Muse Lounge: This creative space allows guests to play along with a pre-recorded version of “Purple Rain” while listening to special tracks that feature The Kid himself.
Secret Room: For those seeking adventure, the house has a hidden room filled with treasures, including a faux vinyl album that comes with seven clues. Guests who solve the clues will unlock special rewards.
Sleep Like a Prince: The Kid’s bedroom has been meticulously recreated from the film, and guests can listen to Prince’s personal tape collection, including a rare demo recording.

Before you start scrambling, fans will have the chance to request a stay starting October 2 at 6:00 AM PT via Airbnb, with the booking window closing on October 6 at 11:59 PM PT. While the experience promises an unforgettable tribute to Prince’s genius, guests are responsible for arranging their own travel.

I have no idea. Around the time that I was getting into music more consistently, I was also getting into skateboarding so maybe I would’ve stuck with that.

The past of course. Then I can do what I’ve done but better because of what I know now. The future belongs as a mystery.

The outlet reported today that a sex worker took the stand before a grand jury to discuss his alleged experiences with the mogul. Supposedly, this testimony could result in new charges for Diddy, though this is unconfirmed at the time of writing.

The outlet reports that the testimony revolved around Diddy allegedly reaching out to the sex worker to participate in a “freak off,” and more. Allegedly, the sex worker also shared information pertaining to travel. This allegedly included whether or not he was ever transported across state lines or into another country.

When the world found out that The Alchemist produced the beat for Kendrick Lamar’s downright terrifying Drake diss, “meet the grahams,” they immediately barraged him with questions about how it came to life. Up to this point, the producer was pretty tight-lipped about the whole situation, only letting off some jokes here and there plus vague remarks on its release. But during a new interview that surfaced online on Thursday (September 26), he went into a little more detail about the haunting song. While there are still plenty of unanswered questions, it’s still exciting to hear this glimpse into one of 2024’s most notable hip-hop moments.

“That was a gospel record. Swear to God,” The Alchemist said of Kendrick Lamar’s six-minute track. “I sent it to him beforehand and he had it for a minute. I heard it when everybody else heard it. It was a trip. Yeah, I was getting a haircut at the studio and it came on the phone. We was listening online, someone was streaming. I thought my phone was bugging. I didn’t know.” We can’t imagine that he knew what that instrumental would become when he sent it to K.Dot.

Elsewhere, Uncle Al had a lot of jokes to respond to incessant questions about the Kendrick Lamar track on Twitter. “Questlove made it known that you weren’t aware Kendrick was going to use your beat for meet the graham’s. The Alchemist replied with this: “Nah but I was extremely bothered and downright livid when I realized that all these years I did not know that Cap’n Crunch’s full name is Horatio Magellan Crunch.”

What’s more is that we know that The Alchemist feels pretty proud of this beat, and he should. He even played it at a Los Angeles club a couple of months ago, but at least he didn’t let Kendrick Lamar scare us again over it. They discussed whether or not Suge Knight is accurate in his assessments of Sean Combs given how long he’s been in jail and the historic rift between them. During his evaluation of Suge’s perspective, Luke made a heavy claim about the Bad Boy mogul based on alleged information from his close circle.

“Let me tell you like this,” Uncle Luke’s remarks began about Diddy and Suge Knight. “[Suge is] still connected to the outside world. You know, in some shape, form, or fashion. You know, [there are] guys [that aren’t] supposed to have their telephones in jail, but they do have their telephone in jail. But then they get their one or two, you know, calls, and they get it done. So, those guys are still connected.

“If you don’t control the industry, the industry will control you,” Uncle Luke concluded about the Diddy situation. “If you don’t humble yourself, if you let it go to your head, then it will get you. It will eat you up. It will consume you. When you think you’re too big when you can go and file a lawsuit against Diageo, the largest liquor brand. Exactly! When you feel like you can go after these types of conglomerates, something got to your head! Something really got to your head. Drugs or something or the liquor. Something really got to your head when you think you that big where you can take on that giant.”

Devin Haney Sues Ryan Garcia For Alleged Fraud & Battery Over April Fight

These two boxers have made their disdain for each other crystal clear. The latest update in the Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia rivalry is the former’s new lawsuit against the latter for alleged battery and fraud on the journey to – and during – their April match at Barclays Center, per TMZ Sports. Haney allegedly filed the suit in New York on Friday (September 27). For those unaware, Garcia initially won that bout after multiple knockdowns, but officials called it a no-contest after they found evidence that Garcia used performance-enhancing drugs for it. Therefore, Haney says that he would not have agreed to the fight if he knew of these enhancements, and thus feels defrauded.

In addition, Devin Haney posited that Ryan Garcia’s ingestion of the drug despite his agreement to fight clean led to Garcia making various misrepresentations. The nature of these is unclear, although Haney said that they would’ve caused him to call the fight quits. But Garcia isn’t the only defendant in this situation. Haney also sued Golden Boy Promotions for alleged breach of contract. Haney seeks unspecified damages for how the situation inflicted “physical injury, reputational damage which will amount to millions of dollars, and emotional and mental distress.”

As of writing this article, it seems like neither Ryan Garcia nor Devin Haney have publicly addressed this lawsuit or the claims within. Elsewhere, though, they have plenty of other matters to jab each other over. For example, Garcia recently called the Diddy scandal a “very serious matter” despite how he trolled Haney for his alleged connection to the Bad Boy executive. As far as a response from Haney, this new lawsuit certainly answered that question.

However, there’s a chance that Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney could settle this the old-fashioned way: with another clean, sanctioned, exciting boxing match. The latter’s promoter wants to make it happen, or at least, that was the plan prior to Garcia’s expulsion from the World Boxing Council for a recent racist rant.
