“They was fake mad that I was popping it for Kamala,” she said. “I don’t think they heard what she said. Kamala said she wants a ceasefire. Kamala said she supports women’s rights. Kamala said she’s tired of these high ass gas prices.”
Megan then addressed what she considered to be subdued choreography. “Tonight I’m not giving y’all my light twerk,” she said. “I’m giving y’all my hardest twerk in the motherf*cking rain. ‘Cause I want the Hotties to have a good motherf*cking time. ASAP Rocky Gets New Assault Trial Date After Judge Rejects Motion To Dismiss
As ASAP Rocky fans eagerly anticipate his new album Don’t Be Dumb, which drops on August 30, the hitmaker has a lot on his plate. Aside from readying the long-awaited project, he’s also currently wrapped up in some legal drama. Rocky is accused of shooting in his former childhood friend and collaborator ASAP Relli’s direction back in 2021, and grazing his hand. He pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree assault involving a semi-automatic firearm in January.
Yesterday, legal reporter Meghann Cuniff spoke with ASAP Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina outside of the courtroom, after a judge rejected the defense’s motion to dismiss the case. According to Tacopina, they’re ready to go to trial, and Rocky is looking forward to finally getting back to what matters most to him. His trial is scheduled to begin later this year.

ASAP Rocky’s Trial Begins On November 12, 2024
“We understood the likelihood of success on this motion was slim at this stage,” Tacopina explained. “We’ve always been preparing for trial… So we’ll be ready for that moment.” Rocky’s attorney also went on to confirm that his trial is now set to begin on November 12, just a few weeks after it was originally scheduled. “Rocky and his family are very eager to get this thing to trial,” he added. “He’s doing great.”
Tacopina also says that Rocky is focused on his children and career at the moment, which makes sense considering his looming release date. Earlier this week, he chatted about the album with Zane Lowe for New Music Daily. It’s no secret that Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar go way back, and recently, Ab-Soul decided to show his fellow Black Hippy artist some love by looking back on one of his most memorable moments. In a new photo making its rounds online, he poses in front of a photo of Kendrick’s 2016 jail cell performance at the Grammys, flexing the large Top Dawg Entertainment tattoo on his arm. Moreover, he rocked a 2Pac t-shirt in the photo. This could have been a nod to Kendrick’s beef with Drake or a simple coincidence.
Fans on X are loving the photo, particularly after Kendrick and Ab-Soul reunited at the former’s “Pop Out” in June. The LA show was the first time Kendrick performed his Drake diss tracks after their viral beef, and he enlisted the help of Ab-Soul for “6:16 In LA.” Of course, he backed Kendrick throughout the entire feud, though he doesn’t seem sold on the idea that Drake can’t redeem himself.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “VULTURES 2”: More Mainstream Names Lead To Left-Field Sounds
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 2 is another big-time event. Just like the first installment, they have pieced together another long list of some of the biggest names in hip-hop. But where these LPs differ is the overall soundscape. It’s a nice change of pace that has a lot of curveballs. In fact, you can make an argument that there is a more diverse collection here compared to VULTURES 1. That is something that definitely highlights the more experimentative side to the production.
For example, “SKY CITY”, featuring 070 Shake, CyHi, and Desiigner sees Ye and Ty take on a more acoustic approach. Production can be attributed to Kanye, Timbaland, and BoogzDaBeast. “RIVER” is another prime sample of more risk-taking and one that draws some inspiration from JESUS IS KING and DONDA. Charlie Wilson, Young Thug, Leon Bridges, and The Inter Milan Ultras make a perfect melting pot of overall performances. Pi’erre Bourne, Ye, and London on da Track, are just a few of the hands that were involved in putting this soulful cut together.

However, you also get you share of pure bangers and more rap-centric songs. Features like Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby all bring out Ye and Ty’s more aggressive side. Trap rap beat makers Wheezy, ATL Jacob, FNZ, and Dez Wright, are just few bring their special sauce to the table in that regard. Whenever we get VULTURES 3, we can only imagine that ¥$ will continue to dump tons of money into bringing on the best of the best.
