Pharrell’s LEGO Movie ‘Piece By Piece’ Has A Vibrant New Poster Full Of Easter Eggs

In January, Focus Features announced Piece By Piece, “an unparalleled motion picture experience that captures the magic and brilliance of Pharrell Williams’ creative genius, one LEGO brick at a time.” The movie was directed by Morgan Neville, who won an Oscar for 20 Feet From Stardom, and Focus Features released the official trailer in June.

On Thursday, August 29, Pharrell posted a vibrant Piece By Piece poster packed with LEGO Minifigures. LEGO Kendrick Lamar wears his Crown Of Thorns. In LEGO, Daft Punk are no longer retired. LEGO Gwen Stefani resumes her No Doubt form. LEGO N.O.R.E. tips his “N.O.R.E.” cap.

The previously released trailer revealed that the movie will feature cameos by LEGO versions of Morgan Neville, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg. Of course, Pharrell also took a break from scoring the Despicable Me franchise to provide new music for his own movie.

“Five years ago, Pharrell Williams approached me with the idea of helping him tell his story through LEGO animation,” Neville said in a statement provided in the original January announcement. “It was one of those rare moments where I knew in a second that this was a journey I wanted to go on. I’m grateful to our partners at Focus Features and at the LEGO Group for their belief in our crazy mission. We assembled an incredible team of creative collaborators to help make a new type of film. I can’t wait for people to see it.”

Pharrell added, “When I had this crazy vision to tell this story through LEGO bricks, I couldn’t have imagined a better partner than Morgan. He is a legend. Grateful that Focus wanted to collaborate with us, and I’m honored to share this with the world and bring people into my universe. Building with LEGO bricks encourages us to follow our imagination… who would’ve thought that playing with these toys as a kid would evolve into a movie about my life? It’s proof that anyone else can do it, too.”

Piece By Piece is exclusively in theaters on October 11. Find more information here.

Drake Hints At “No Face” Featuring Playboi Carti Hitting Streaming Platforms

Over the weekend, Drake surprised fans by unveiling three tracks on his second Instagram account. The first was “Circadian Rhythm,” followed by “Supersoak (SOD)” without Lil Yachty, and “No Face” with Playboi Carti. The latter in particular earned big reactions from listeners, who suspect that Drizzy was firing back at those who dissed him amid his beef with Kendrick Lamar this summer.

“N***as got lit off the features I skated on/ I gotta know, I gotta know, how you get lit off the n***a you hatin’ on?” he rhymes. Now, it looks like the track could be headed to streaming services. Today, Drake has been sharing various random Instagram Stories on his aforementioned Finsta, including a side-by-side of him and Playboi Carti.

Drake Sparks Speculation With His Latest Cryptic Finsta Posts

Of course, it’s unconfirmed whether or not this actually means the song will hit streaming services soon, but most fans in the NFR Podcast‘s X replies hope so. This may not be the only exciting thing Drake has on the way either. Aside from keeping supporters on their toes with his sporadic 100 Gigs drops, he might be preparing for yet another battle with Kendrick Lamar. Last week, he shared a clip of Detroit Pistons star Rasheed Wallace’s 2004 interview. “Y’all put it on the front page, back page, middle of the page… we will win Game 2,” he says in the clip.

Most interpreted this as a direct reference to his feud with Kendrick, and an indicator that he’s feeling more confident than ever. DJ Akademiks also appears confident in Drizzy’s ability to come out on top, telling viewers watching his livestream last week that “this for the fans right here.” What do you think of Drake seemingly hinting that “No Face” could hit streaming services soon? Are you looking forward to it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Drake Hilariously Roasts Joe Budden’s Throwback Beach Photo

It’s no secret that Drake and Joe Budden don’t get along, and last night, Drizzy hopped online to troll the podcaster on Instagram. He shared a series of photos featuring himself, Duke Dennis, and Budden, suggesting that they influenced his infamous selfie pose. “I’m not aware of my picture or mirror face it’s a curse from birth and I’m influenced by what I see,” he captioned the photos.

His trolling didn’t stop there, however. One fan in his comments section took note of Budden’s bold pose, which Drake proceeded to roast him for. “2 hand gun squat at the beach is nuts tho,” the commenter wrote. “😂😂😂😂 double gun finger dip down is zaney,” Drake responded, “He’s headed back to the all inclusive and about to order a martini shaken not stirred casino royale a** pose in the Shawn Marion shorts.”

Drake Gives Joe Budden A Shoutout

While social media users are somewhat surprised that he decided to give Budden a shoutout at all, the personality has had plenty to say about Drake in recent months, and most of it hasn’t been nice. For this reason, many can agree that Budden had it coming. He’s yet to respond to the post, though it’s likely he’ll address it on the next episode of his podcast. Budden doesn’t only have negative things to say about Drake these days, however. He shocked fans earlier this week by praising the Toronto hitmaker for his latest release.

Drake dropped three tracks on 100gigs.org last week, and Budden had mostly nice things to say about them. According to him, Drake is “doing a decent job now in post-battle recovery,” and he’ll have a “front-row seat” for game 2 if it happens. What do you think of Drake roasting an old photo of Joe Budden? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Ludacris Updates Fans After Drinking Glacier Water: “I Feel Like Superman”

Ludacris concerned fans recently by drinking unfiltered and possibly contaminated glacier water in Alaska, but he said in a new social media video that it’s the best and cleanest water he’s ever drank. “Yo, for everybody asking me how that glacier water really tasted,” he began his remarks. “And when I tell you, I’m a water snob. It was the best-tasting water I’ve ever had in my life. As I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same damn time. Had the greatest show in Alaska after that. Just made it to Minneapolis, we got a show tomorrow. Listen, man, I’m here. I feel like Superman. Love to all the fans, glad y’all digging that. It’s different ways of life. I’m just trying to take y’all places, show y’all things, meet people. Come on, man. Love.”

Furthermore, it wasn’t Ludacris’ only ludicrous hot take as of late… At least, in the eyes of many hip-hop fans. “I think Wayne, he’s one of the greatest by the way, I think he’s admitted… He don’t freestyle a lot, so I would just say I would win that,” he said when asked during a Funky Friday with Cam Newton interview about hypothetical freestyle battle match-ups.

Ludacris Praises Glacier Water In New Update

“I’m talking about just straight off the dome is what I’m saying, ‘cause he does it,” Ludacris continued. “But I’m just saying that at one point he even admitted it’s not — he makes songs quick as hell, don’t get me wrong. It’s a sense and a form of freestyling, but it’s just, like, he’s extra with it too. But man, Wayne is one of my favorites. A verse, ah, I would have to say win [against Jay-Z]. I would win on that one. That’s a strong statement to say that ‘cause again, Hov is definitely one of my favorites as well.

“Verses, man, I’m just gon’ go in and metaphor and style, in terms of like flow, I’ma kill that s**t,” Ludacris posited. “It’s not to say that Hov is not gon’ kill that s**t. But I’m, like, when you say s**t like that and it puts me in a category like ‘Oh s**t, I’m going against Hov,’ I got to, like, every f**king word, every line, every style, every flow, every metaphor, I got to go. You got to go back and listen to there was a song with me, Nas and Hov on my album called ‘I Do It for Hip Hop’ [that was] so dope.”

“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago,” Gotti’s rep said in a statement. “He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”

Additionally, a video of Gotti walking with a cane has surfaced.
