Given the bold aesthetic of the original, Nike’s updated version will be intriguing. The bright hues and diverse patterns on each shoe created a visually captivating effect that set it apart. The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” is expected to capture the same excitement and uniqueness that made the original iconic. Both sneaker enthusiasts and Kobe fans are eagerly anticipating this release, ready to add this distinctive design to their collections. The buzz surrounding this reissue highlights the lasting impact and continued relevance of the shoe’s innovative style.
The original 2013 release showcases a vibrant and colorful display, featuring two mismatched sneakers. Specifically, the right sneaker predominantly sports green and orange, highlighted by a neon yellow Swoosh. Meanwhile, the left shoe exhibits a blend of blue and orange, complemented by purple detailing. Although we know the details of the 2013 release, the exact design of the 2025 pair remains unknown.

The upcoming collaborative full-length from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake took many fans by surprise, but it’s also what plenty of them have been manifesting hopefully for years now. Never mind all the beef stories surrounding The Boy right now: this team-up is a long-anticipated OVO affair that marks yet another shift in his career, albeit a lateral one. Regardless, we now have some limited but nonetheless exciting new information about the project courtesy of Party himself. He recently spoke with Awaiz Punjani in a brief video published on Tuesday (August 6), and let fans know exactly how much new material they should expect.
“The one we doing right now, all 15 we doing right now,” PARTYNEXTDOOR responded to a question about what his favorite Drake collab is. As such, we know that there will apparently be 15 tracks on this joint album, which is very promising for various reasons. 15 is a hefty and satisfying number of cuts, but it’s also not overbearing enough to where fans would be concerned by questions of bloat, quality control, or lack of focus. Also, considering how much respect and love they have for each other, their chemistry would make any number of records electric either way.
“I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you,” Aubrey Graham said during his surprise appearance at PND’s Toronto show on Friday (August 2). While neither artist has confirmed the release date for this team-up, Drizzy’s words indicate that it will be a fall or winter release, so there’s still a solid chance it would come out for the early winter of 2025. At this concert, the 6ix God also performed “Wah Gwan Delilah” for the first time.
But elsewhere, news of Drake’s collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR comes amid rumors that his other iconic partnerships are dwindling. For example, many fans believe that Lil Wayne is sending subtle hints that he’s not rocking with his Young Money heir anymore. Of course, that’s purely speculative, so unless either artist does something truly pointed and direct, we have no reason to assume that “The Motto” will age as poorly as cuts like “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” have. At least we definitely have this PND collab to look forward to.
T-Pain revealed the amount of money he rakes in from an hour of live streaming him playing video games. In a recent interview, the rapper mentioned that he makes $50,000 to $60,000 per hour from his time on Twitch. He opened up about the platform, detailing how the convenience and ease of live streaming caused him to think about how much more difficult it is to profit in the music industry, as most artists make the bulk of their money from going on the road and touring.
“When you making $50,000, $60,000 an hour playing video games in your drawers, it’s kind of hard to get me to go out the country for, you know what I’m saying?” T-Pain said. He went on to explain that he’s actually on the lower end of the payment scale, when compared to some of his rapper/streamer peers. He specifically referred to Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley’s Twitch success in his explanation. “I’m on the low tier,” he said. “This dude’s making millions a month,” he explained. “I’m making less than Tee Grizzley. I know I’m making less. When we talk about hourly? I know I’m doing less than Tee Grizzley.”
T-Pain Makes Tens Of Thousands Of Dollars Per Hour To Livestream
T-Pain elaborated on how his deals work, discussing the sponsorships and endorsements that come his way because of streaming. “When I get deals like 7-Eleven, they gave me $250k to play any game I wanted for two hours,” he explained, before comparing the ease of a sponsored stream to the difficulty of performing music. “Just in certain intervals, just say, ‘Hey guys, 7-Eleven has pizza now. Don’t you want a pizza from 7-Eleven? Cool, let’s get back to the game for two hours.’ Easy money,” he said. “If you think I’m about to go pack clothes, go get on a stage for an hour and a half, sweat it out in a state that I don’t know what the f*ck is going on before I stay in that room and just say, ‘7-Eleven has pizza,’ and then go back to gaming?”
T-Pain’s explanation shows just how lucrative gaming and live streaming can be for celebrities. The previously mentioned Tee Grizzley also has a popular streaming channel and revenue that comes from things attached to that channel. Grizzley recently explained how he’s making millions a month from his Grand Theft Auto V role-playing server. A large part of that comes from membership fees from the 90,000 users who have joined the server he manages. As Twitch becomes an increasingly profitable outlet, more celebrities will join to have a steady side hustle. T-Pain can say he was one of the first successful crossovers into the space.
Erica Banks is an artist who has caught some flack from the internet over the years. Overall, this is par for the course when you are an artist. If you end up getting posted by aggregator pages, those commenters will eat you alive. Although this has been the case for Banks, she has never shied away from being unapologetically herself. If the haters are going to go after her for something, you can be sure that she will clap back by doubling down.
One thing that Banks has gotten a little bit of heat for as of late has been her BBL. The artist was criticized for having an “exaggerated” BBL that could create warped body standards for other women. Others simply felt like the BBL trend was getting out of hand and that Banks was an example of this. Whatever the case may be, it is pretty clear that Banks does not care what those folks have to say. Overall, she made that crystal clear as she showed off her assets in the video below.
As you can imagine, the comments on The Neighborhood Talk were not particularly kind. But again, Erica Banks probably won’t be losing any sleep over this. She understands the game, and she plays it well. Only time will tell whether or not Banks addresses some of these haters directly. Based on her recent activities on social media, it seems like she is thriving, regardless.
Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that some fans are being way too harsh towards Erica Banks? Why do you think so many fans try to police the bodies of other women? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.
These last two weeks have been an exciting stretch for The Weeknd’s fans. After leaving off with Dawn FM back in January of 2022, Abel would tweet out “I wonder. Did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy?”. He shared that message shortly after his fifth studio album was released to the public and we can remember the hype levels rising. Right now, though, they are shooting up again after three cryptic teaser trailers revealing what’s in store for this final third. The most recent one titled “Unprepared certainty…” has numerous unreleased tracks playing throughout, giving us still a pretty blurry look into the future. Because of this, we are going back to The Weeknd’s last project and one track we are replaying quite a bit is “Out of Time”.
We will tell you this is for science, but it’s mostly because this track is so damn good. The production on this song is arguably the best on the entire album. Abel, Max Martin, Oscar Holter, and Oneohtrix Point Never, all did an amazing magic job incorporating the dreamy sample from the 1980’s a Japanese pop classic “Midnight Pretenders”. The Weeknd glides over this instrumental, as he gets real about the mistakes he’s made in the past and how his willingness to change is too late to save his relationship. It’s beautiful heartbreaking anthem and one that still captures our ears to this day. We hope he’s able to work some more of these types of sonics into a supposed melding of his ideas from Dawn FM and After Hours.
The last few months, I’ve been workin’ on me, baby There’s so much trauma in my life I’ve been so cold to the ones who loved me, baby I look back now and I realize

Lauryn Hill’s announcement that she and the Fugees canceled the North American leg of their 2024 Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill anniversary tour days before it was set to begin was not that surprising, to say the least. After all, this is one of many controversies and pulled shows that the legendary rap group has caused, faced, or at least dealt with over their historic career. While many fans expressed disappointment and outrage at this, there were also plenty of them who saw this coming from a mile away. The iconic femcee herself took to Instagram on Wednesday (August 7) to explain this cancelation and blame the media.
“With difficulty [we made] the decision to pull down our upcoming North American tour dates,” Lauryn Hill shared. “The shows in the UK and Europe ARE MOVING FORWARD as planned. Last year, I faced an injury that necessitated the rescheduling of some of my shows. Regrettably, some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour.
“The trust and faith I have in my intentions and my commitment to my art seem to have been overshadowed by this unfortunate portrayal,” Lauryn Hill continued. “The audiences in the UK and Europe not only haven’t seen the Miseducation Anniversary performances yet, they also haven’t seen the Fugees perform together in over 25 years! Performing for my fans is a profound exchange of energy and emotion that excites me every time. Every show is a piece of my expression and testament to our connection and shared love for music. I can assure you that no one is more disappointed about not being able to perform than I am.
“Know that I am not only grateful for those who appreciate and support my art, but that I FIGHT and push through all kinds of resistance to put together experiences that mean something for all of us. I love being able to bring these performances to you! I appreciate your understanding. We look forward to the shows in the UK and Europe in October—and for our fans in North America, when these unforeseen circumstances resolve, we’ll be back in full force. With Love, Respect, and Honesty, MLH.”
It felt like L.A. was about to explode into an R&B party when Chris Brown’s 11:11 tour hit the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, August 6. As the second-to-last stop on the tour, anticipation filled the air over what Chris Brown might have up his sleeves. For the last two months, social media has been filled with hype-worthy and viral moments from the tour, whether it’s the iconic meet-and-greet photos or some of the stunts he pulled on stage.
From the moment fans gathered inside the area, the energy was high. Breakthrough R&B artists Maeta and Muni Long warmed the crowd up as the opening acts. Following their performance, Chris Brown emerged and delivered a set that satisfied his fans, both old and new. With a setlist consisting of over 40 songs over two hours, Chris Brown certainly delivered on all fronts. He leaped into the classic hits that turned him into a star, as well as recent songs that we’ve had on consistent rotation.
Around the 9 p.m. mark of the night, the lights dimmed and the atmosphere reached a fever pitch when the LED screen behind the stage began its countdown. As the final seconds ticked away, the arena was plunged into darkness. Then, a single, dramatic beam of light illuminated Chris Brown on a raised platform. As the platform descended, he opened with “Angel Numbers / Ten Toes.” Fire and sparks erupted around the stage, and cheers roared throughout the stadium. The audience was clearly captivated from the get-go and all eyes were on Chris to see what was next.
The concert was thoughtfully segmented into four thematic acts: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Each element was specifically crafted to highlight different aspects and songs of Brown’s catalog. This created a cohesive visual experience that left fans guessing which songs would appear in each act. The screen behind the stage projected stunning and immersive visuals that complemented the theme.
The first act, “Fire,” ignited the night with high-energy tracks and fiery visuals. With the crowd—mostly women—screaming their hearts out and backup dancers giving it their all, the energy could quite literally be described as explosive. During this set, he performed songs such as “Heat,” “Party,” “New Flame,” “Ayo,” “Summer Too Hot,” and more.
As the concert transitioned into the “Water” act, the energy shifted to something more fluid and moody. The visuals consisted of underwater scenes that contrasted with the fiery visuals of the previous act. He leaned into the more sultry records in his catalog during the “Water” act, including “Liquor,” “Privacy,” “Wrist,” “Wet The Bed,” “Take You Down,” and “Under The Influence.” During this part of the evening, he was suspended mid-air on a floating platform.
Chris and his dancers delivered tight choreography on the circular platform, impressing the audience with his highly sensual moves. In between these acts, DJ Fresh kept the crowd energized with a mix of party classics and some of Chris Brown’s deeper cuts, keeping the crowd moving from start to finish.
Accompanying the third act, “Air,” was atmospheric, ethereal visuals and records like “Press Me,” “She Ain’t You,” “No Air,” and “Don’t Judge Me.” This part of the show saw Breezy continuing to hover over the crowd as he was suspended mid-air. Though the majority of the show saw the crowd dancing along to his infectious hits, this set offered the audience a chance to catch their breath before the finale.
Chris concluded with the “Earth” act, which grounded the night with a return to more of his upbeat tracks. For this section, where the visuals became more earth and organic, he reserved some of his biggest hits to date. Songs like “No Guidance,” “Call Me Every Day,” “Sensational,” and “Loyal,” lit the arena up before he concluded with “Grass Ain’t Greener.” For roughly two hours, Chris Brown worked like a machine, maintaining high energy levels without missing a single beat of choreography.
The final act succinctly captured the evolution of his career, paying homage to his roots and celebrating his longevity with recent hits. During the final moments on stage, he took a bow and brought his two daughters, Royalty and Lovely, on stage. The 11:11 tour’s LA stop was undoubtedly a testament to Brown’s artistry, longevity, charisma, and sheer talent. For those fortunate enough to attend, it was a night to remember.
