Spice The “Queen of Dancehall” Unveils ‘Mirror 25’ Album Cover, Release Date And Reveals Dream Beyoncé Collaboration On ‘Good Morning America’

On July 10, 2024 Grammy® Award-Nominated, chart-topping, global superstar Spice, unveiled the official album cover for her highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Mirror 25’ and announced her official album release date– slated for Friday, August 9, 2024 on Good Morning America.

On the show, the reigning Queen of Dancehall discussed how her album “Mirror 25” will commemorate her 25-year milestone in the music industry. “I started my music career in 1999,” says Spice. “25 years is a long time…It’s not a small thing, it’s a very big thing. In the album, I’m kinda reflecting on all the things that I’ve managed to overcome,” says Spice. “You know, being in the business for 25 years, it’s an ever-growing business— it’s a male dominated business. To be here for 25 years, I know that there are a lot of things that I’ve overcome. Just looking at it, and looking at myself in the future… Where do I go from here? I’ve done so many things; so many accolades, so I’m just kinda reflecting on everything that I overcame.”

Spice also discussed the advice she would have given her younger self, her love for Jamaican culture, and revealed her next dream collaboration–Beyoncé, and more.

Executive produced by Spice, ‘Mirror 25’ will be an iconic 25 track album showcasing Spice’s legendary sound infused with a unique kaleidoscope of rhythmic tracks, serving as Spice’s raw, open diary of her past trials and tribulations–with each track revealing a vulnerable part of her life. The album title, ‘Mirror 25’ symbolizes reflection and self-discovery, marking a new era for Spice to artistically showcase her growing pains and lessons learned as an artist and as a woman. ‘Mirror 25’ will be released via Spice Official Entertainment with distribution through Empire.

The announcement of Spice’s album release date comes soon after the release of her first controversial single, ‘2085 Tea’followed by her lead single, ‘Round Round,’ featuring 12-time Grammy® Award-Nominated Rapper, Busta Rhymes; an infectious party anthem. Both singles have reached #1 on iTunes Reggae charts.

Joe Biden Receives Repeated Calls To Drop Out Of Presidential Race

President Joe Biden has received a whole lot of scrutiny over the last few weeks. Overall, this is mostly thanks to his horrific debate performance against Donald Trump. While Trump wasn’t exactly performing to the best of his abilities, Biden appeared to be in a bad state. There have been signs of cognitive decline, and his debate performance was one of his worst looks yet. Democrats have started to freak out, although Biden remains of the mindset that he is going to stay in the race.

According to CNN, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi have been critical of Biden and his choice to stay in the fight. Moreover, even George Clooney has made some strong comments about the President. This is significant considering how Clooney is a major donor to Biden. Despite all of this, the President is not dropping out of the race, at least for now. The Democratic National Convention is in August, which means there is still time for Biden to come out and drop out before it’s too late.

Drake Haunted By “Not Like Us” As USA Basketball Uses Kendrick Lamar’s Diss To Celebrate Win Over Canada

The last few months have not been particularly kind to Drake. Overall, you can probably guess why we would say that. His beef against Kendrick Lamar started off on even footing. However, once “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” dropped, it became spooky for the Canadian. Since that time, “Not Like Us” has proven to be one of the biggest songs in the world. It continues to get millions of streams every day, and even the music video proved to be a success.

Last night, the song continued to haunt Drake on a National level. Team USA Basketball was facing off against Team Canada in a Pre-Olympics exhibition game. Overall, it was dominated by the United States which makes sense when you consider their roster. After the game, “Not Like Us” could be heard being blasted over the PA system. USA Basketball members celebrated and danced along to the track, rubbing it in Team Canada’s face even more.

Drake Cannot Escape The Song

This is not the first time that a Canadian athletics defeat led to “Not Like Us” chants. Following Argentina’s game against Canada on Tuesday, the Argentina soccer team’s Twitter account tweeted out a graphic that said “Not Like Us.” Needless to say, this song is not going anywhere, any time soon. While Drizzy is planning some summer music, it might be difficult for him to match the success of Kendrick’s latest smash.
