Reporter Who Got Her Phone Snatched by Kanye West: ‘He Has Such Disrespect for Women’

Kanye West George Floyd

Melanie Miller, the woman who got her phone snatched by Kanye West, is speaking out. Appearing on the TMZ Podcast, Miller gave her account of the incident.

“I was alarmed. I was like, ‘Whoa, I don’t see that one coming.’ I’ve interviewed him before and he never talks to me, so I’m thinking ‘I’ll just see if he’ll talk to me.’ It’s been very well talked about that…he won’t let Bianca have an Instagram because he’s trying to protect her. So I’m saying this is an easy opportunity for you to be like, ‘Of course I’m not controlling her.’ That’s all that I had going into it.”

She added, “If she’s posting those photos of her and her essentially naked body on her own Instagram because she wants to, because she wants to put that out there—fine. But he’s doing it. He has such disrespect for women.”

While strolling in L.A., Ye was asked if Bianca Censori had “free will,” which led to the rapper snatching an iPhone.

“People want to know if Bianca has her free will. Some people say you’re controlling her,” the TMZ reporter said.

Kanye then grabbed her phone and addressed, “That dumb ass shit,” he was asked.

He said, “You think cause you a white woman that you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumb ass shit like that? Ask me about my wife?”

Legal Battle Unfolds As Diddy Bids To Reveal Accuser’s Identity

In a legal saga that has taken a shocking turn, Sean “Diddy” Combs and his legal team are requesting the public identification of the woman behind a sexual assault lawsuit against the hip-hop mogul. The move has sparked outrage and raised eyebrows. As the accuser’s lawyers claim it is an attempt to “publicly malign her” based on unrelated issues that occurred two decades ago. This latest development stems from a sealed filing submitted by Diddy’s lawyers, a document hidden from public view that has given rise to numerous questions surrounding its contents and intentions.

Moreover, the accuser’s legal team has responded with a counter-filing. Shedding light on the contentious nature of the case and the potential ramifications of unveiling the accuser’s identity. The legal battle between Diddy and the accuser, whose identity remains protected under current legal protocols, has entered uncharted territory. The accuser’s lawyers argue that the push for public identification is a thinly veiled attempt to tarnish her reputation by bringing up unrelated incidents from 20 years ago. This raises concerns about the intersection of legal strateg. And public perception in high-profile cases, as well as the potential impact on victims coming forward in the #MeToo era.

Diddy Is Requesting Accuser To Go Public

However, the sealed filing by Diddy’s legal team has only fueled speculation and intensified public interest in the case. Critics argue that such secrecy may undermine the principles of transparency and accountability, especially when it comes to cases involving influential figures in the entertainment industry. The unfolding drama puts a spotlight on the delicate balance between the right to a fair trial and the public’s right to information. As discussions surrounding sexual assault cases continue to evolve, the Diddy lawsuit highlights the complexities and challenges that survivors face in seeking justice.

Furthermore, the accuser’s legal team’s objection to revealing her identity underscores the importance of protecting victims from potential character attacks unrelated to the matter at hand, as they navigate the legal system in pursuit of accountability. The outcome of this legal battle could have far-reaching implications for how future cases are handled, particularly in terms of preserving the privacy and dignity of survivors. As the public awaits further developments, the controversy surrounding Diddy’s request to publicly identify the accuser raises crucial questions about the intersection of legal proceedings, public perception, and the rights of survivors in the ongoing fight against sexual assault.

Juvenile Calls Out Lovers & Friends Festival Over Not Receiving A Deposit

The highly anticipated Lovers & Friends Festival, slated for May 2024 with headliners Usher, Janet Jackson, and Backstreet Boys, has found itself embroiled in controversy as yet another artist disputes their inclusion. This time, it’s the renowned Cash Money Records rapper, Juvenile, who took to Instagram to express his frustration and disappointment with the festival organizers. In an Instagram Reel posted on Wednesday, Juvenile didn’t hold back. In fact, he delivered a candid and less-than-cordial message to the Lovers & Friends team.

“Here we go again, man. These cats at Lovers & Friends. Whoever in charge of Lovers & Friends, man, y’all doing bad business,” he began. The rapper continued to detail his grievances. Emphasizing that despite being featured on the festival’s lineup poster, he hadn’t received any deposit or compensation for his potential performance. “Y’all done put my name on the flyer, and y’all know you ain’t sent me no deposit. Ain’t sent me no bread or nothin’. Keep on playing games. Talking ’bout y’all gonna get back at me. Look, y’all playing games with the wrong mothaf*cka, man,” Juvenile asserted in the video. His frustration was palpable as he conveyed his displeasure with the festival’s handling of the situation.

The rapper’s message adds to the growing discontent surrounding the festival’s lineup announcement. Just a week earlier, Mary J. Blige had clarified on her Instagram Story that her inclusion was an error due to prior commitments. However, apparently a solution was reached because it was announced that Mary would in fact be there after all. However, Juvenile’s response was notably more direct and less diplomatic, expressing his dissatisfaction with the festival’s alleged failure to compensate him for the use of his name in promotional materials.

As the controversy unfolds, questions arise about the festival’s organizational practices and the impact of such disputes on the credibility of large-scale events. The Lovers & Friends Festival, initially hailed for its star-studded lineup, now faces scrutiny and skepticism from both fans and artists alike. Whether the festival organizers can address and rectify these issues will likely determine the success and reputation of the event in the eyes of the music industry and festivalgoers. For those eager to witness the performances at Lovers & Friends 2024, the festival is set to take place on Saturday, May 4, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
