Charlamagne Tha God Slams Colin Kaepernick For Jets Letter: “Pathetic”

Charlamagne Tha God called out Colin Kaepernick during an episode of The Breakfast Club, earlier this week. In doing so, he labeled the former NFL star’s letter to the New York Jets “downright pathetic.” Kaepernick reached out to the organization for a chance to play on their practice squad in the wake of Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles injury.

“I wish that letter was never written,” he said on the show. “That letter was tragically sad and downright pathetic. Colin Kaepernick has let his setback become his identity, and I hate that for him. It pains me to see that man still begging to be in a league that he called racist and he compared to a plantation.”

Charlamagne continued: “And I hate that he can never speak for himself. He always got somebody else speaking for him or putting out his message for him. That’s so wack to me. J. Cole shared Kaepernick’s letter to the public on Tuesday. “I asked Colin @kaepernick7 if I could share this letter with the world. He was reluctant,” he captioned the post of the letter. “My argument was that I believe the people and all organizations should know the truth about how hard he works and how much he still wants to play. And always has. In the end, he agreed to let me.” In the letter, Kaep brings up the injury of Aaron Rodgers and says it presents an opportunity for him to prove himself on the team’s practice squad. Despite the remarks, he still offered his support for Jets backup quarterback Zach Wilson. He says “has the tools” to succeed.

Cam’ron previously traveled to Colorado to meet new head coach Deion Sanders and the rest of the team. During an episode of his sports talk show, It Is What It Is, on September 11. Cam’ron reflected on the trip. “Shoutout to Coach Prime, he laid the pink carpet out for me. Went down to Boulder, it was cr*zy. First of all, we on the field, we in the suite, chicken and waffles, steak, champagne — whatever we wanted… Really appreciate that,” he said at the time. “Then the pre-game speech the n***a went cr*zy. Mase and Cam’ron shared an emotional moment during an episode of their sports talk show, It Is What It Is, on Thursday. Mase reflected on his decision to bring Cam’ron to The Notorious B.I.G. at the beginning of his career rather than Diddy. He explained that he wanted the best for Cam’ron.

“When you had your record deal, why did you take me to Biggie Smalls and not Bad Boy,” Cam asked. Mase answered: “It’s almost gonna bring me to tears to say this. Being that I saw you as such a good friend, I wanted to put you with somebody I knew [would do right by you].” From there, Cam’ron added: “Thank you man, I really appreciate that. I don’t want to get emotional in here.” Mase continued: “I knew Biggie would do right by you. I thought he would do [the right thing].”

While replying to a user who suggested the U.S. hire more judges and lawyers to process the immigrants, Musk shot down the idea. “We need a greatly simplified process and at least some evidence for asylum,” he began. “Right now, no evidence at all is required. Just say the magic phrase ‘I seek asylum’ and you’re in. There simply aren’t enough qualified judges in the country to hire. The wait is 5 to 7 years! And, even if the case is lost, there is almost no repatriation. Btw, the officials at the border say that things were sensible under Obama, so this is not just an R vs D issue. They said open borders started 2 years ago.”
