During a recent appearance on The Shade Room, singer K. Michelle claimed that she was banned from The Breakfast Club and the Sony building entirely. As a part of her statement she also included details about how Michael Jackson and DMX had also reportedly been banned from the building. That revelation left fans pouring through various appearances she had made on the show in the past looking for an explanation. Subsequently in a new episode, Charlamagne Tha God is responding.
One thing he does agree with is that Michael Jackson did have unrelated issues with Sony. But he denies pretty much everything else, both the allegations that DMX was banned during his life and that K. Michelle wasn’t allowed. Charlamagne clarifies that Michelle is “Welcomed on the breakfast club anytime.” Significantly, one thing he doesn’t mention is the reported issues between Michelle and co-host Angela Yee. Consequently their beef dates all the way back to a 2016 appearance on the show where Michelle confronted Angela. Check out Charlamagne Tha God’s response below.
Fans in the comments has strong reactions to the whole situation, many of which took issue with Angela Yee’s role in everything. “NEVER been an Angela Yee fan” reads one of the top comments. “She was banned because of Yee messy ass,” another agrees. But not all of the comments took the same tone. “I love Yee, that wasn’t Yee fault. Plus Yee is truly for her peoples,” an entirely different comment expresses.
Charlamagne Tha God is often dealing in controversy. Earlier this month fans rolled their eyes when he asked Yo Gotti exactly how far he was from the streets. The clip went viral even though there didn’t seem to be any bad blood between them in the moment. What do you think of Charlamagne Tha God’s response to K. Michelle claiming she was banned from The Breakfast Club? Let us know in the comment section below.
Candice Swanepoel, the South African supermodel, has made a significant mark in the fashion industry. As of 2023, her net worth is estimated to be around $25 million US dollars, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But how did she amass such wealth, and what has contributed to her success?
Born on October 20, 1988, in Mooiriver, South Africa, Candice’s journey to stardom began quite unexpectedly. At the tender age of 15, while shopping at a flea market in Durban, a model scout spotted her. This chance encounter set her on a path that would lead her to become one of the most sought-after models globally.
Candice’s association with Victoria’s Secret played a pivotal role in her rise to fame. She first graced the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2007, and her unique features, such as her wide-set pale blue eyes and full lips, quickly made her a favorite. By 2010, she had earned her wings as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, a title that only a few can claim.
One of her most notable moments was in 2013 when she was chosen to wear the “Royal Fantasy Bra” during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Valued at $10 million, this bra was adorned with over 4,200 precious gems. The arrangement of jewels included diamonds, rubies, and yellow sapphires, set in 18-carat gold.
Candice has graced the covers and editorials of numerous international magazines, including Vogue, GQ, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. Her versatility as a model is evident in her collaborations with top-tier fashion brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, and many more.
Moreover, she has been the face of advertising campaigns for renowned brands. These include Tom Ford, Swarovski, Nike, and Guess?, further solidifying her position in the industry.
In 2018, Candice ventured into the business world by launching her swimwear collection, Tropic of C. Fans and critics loved the line, which became known for its retro bikinis and minimalist one-pieces. As a result of its success, Topic Of C. earned her the “Launch of the Year” award at the fifth Annual Daily Front Row Awards.
Since her career took off, Candice continuously received recognition for her beauty and talent. She has been featured in lists like FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” and Maxim’s “Hot 100 List.” Her earnings have also been impressive. During 2015 and 2016, she was among the world’s top-earning models, with annual earnings ranging from $5 million to $7 million.
Beyond her professional achievements, Candice has a rich personal life. She was engaged to Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli, with whom she has two sons. They separated in 2018. However, in 2022, she was rumored to be romantically linked to Kanye West, which was later deemed to be a publicity stunt. She is also fluent in multiple languages, including Afrikaans, English, and Portuguese.
Philanthropically, Candice is deeply involved with mothers2mothers, a charity aiming for an HIV-free generation in South Africa. She not only supports the cause but has also designed denims for the organization and serves as its global ambassador.
Candice Swanepoel’s net worth of $25 million in 2023 is a testament to her hard work, talent, and business acumen. From a young girl discovered in a flea market to one of the world’s top models, her journey is nothing short of inspirational. As she continues to shine in the fashion industry and beyond, her net worth is only expected to grow.
Amber Rose is a familiar name in most media circles. The model, artist, and television personality has actively been in the public eye for over fifteen years. The 39-year-old gained prominence through her work in the entertainment industry and advocacy for women’s rights and gender equality. However, her popularity is also a result of the impressive roster of men she’s dated and the media coverage that followed each relationship. Rose’s dating history before 2007 is largely unknown, but she definitely announced her presence in 2008, when she started dating none other than Yeezy himself.
Amber Rose and Kanye West’s relationship was a high-profile and widely discussed aspect of both their lives. They began dating in 2008 and made their relationship public with appearances at events and red carpets. Rose had first appeared in the music video for Young Jeezy and Kanye West’s 2008 single, “Put On.” He also featured her in the music video for his song, “RoboCop,” but the video was never released. Their relationship garnered significant media attention, which further increased their popularity. Rose in particular garnered widespread popularity due to the relationship, contributing to her rising public profile. The couple’s relationship reportedly faced challenges and eventually ended in 2010.
Wiz Khalifa (2011 – 2014)
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa first met in 2010 through a mutual friend, but it wasn’t until 2011 that the two started dating. Their relationship was also highly publicized and gained media attention, especially when Khalifa and the model got engaged in 2012. The couple announced they were expecting their first child, a son, in September 2012. Sebastian Taylor Thomas was born in February 2013. They officially married on July 8, 2013, in a private ceremony. Their marriage unfortunately faced challenges and ended a year later. Rose filed for divorce in September 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. Nonetheless, she and Wiz Khalifa co-parent Sebastian amicably.
Amber Rose and Machine Gun Kelly had a brief romantic relationship that started and ended in 2015. In the short period it lasted, however, their relationship still garnered media attention due to the high-profile statuses of the two. During their time together, Rose and Kelly were seen in public and attended events as a rumored couple. After their break, both individuals moved on to other ventures and relationships.
Terrence Ross (2016)
Rose had another brief romance with pro basketball player Terrence Ross. On ESPN’s His & Hers, she referred to him as her boo. The cause of their separation is unknown, but the two parted ways shortly after getting together. Ross eventually reconciled with his wife, Matijana.
21 Savage (2017 – 2018)
The relationship between Amber Rose and rapper 21 Savage sparked controversy due to the significant age difference between the two. At the time, 21 Savage was in his early 20s, while Rose was in her early 30s, and there was a 9-year gap between them. Despite the outrage, the couple stayed together for quite some time. They started dating in June 2017 and broke things off in March 2018.
Monte Morris (2018)
After her split with 21 Savage, Rose moved on to NBA pro basketball player Monte Morris, who played for the Denver Nuggets at the time. What began as a friendship in 2017 quickly bloomed into a romantic relationship that started in June 2018. The relationship burned passionately, but swiftly and ended in the same year.
Alexander Edwards (2018 – 2021)
Amber Rose had a romantic relationship with music executive Alexander Edwards soon after her break up with Monte Morris. This was her longest relationship since Wiz Khalifa. Rose and Edwards confirmed their relationship through social media posts and public appearances in 2018. In April 2019, Rose announced via Instagram that she and Edwards were expecting their first child together. In October 2019, they welcomed their son. The two split up in 2021 after Rose publicly accused Edwards of cheating on her with 12 women. Edwards has since admitted that the statement was true.
Kid Cudi is known not only for making great music but also for his eccentric style. Recently, the Cleveland native opened up about whose fashion inspired him growing up. Cudi credited none other than iconic producer and musician Pharrell Williams — another artist who’s known for his unique style. The rapper told The People Gallery he considered the N.E.R.D. bandmember to be a “style god.”
Dripped in his MOTR brand, the 39-year-old noted how Pharrell taught him to be fresh. “When I was young, man — I mean like 2001, 2002 — like, Pharrell was like the style god to me,” Cudi began. “It was like I was learning how to be fresh at that time and like he was like the person I’d check for, most of the time.” Cudi also named Kanye West as an influence. He added, “The fashion in Cleveland was not very forward, so like I would look to guys like P or, y’know, when Kanye came out.”
Cudi was recently tapped to be a part of Calvin Klein’s new campaign. Euphoria star Alexa Demie was also featured in the campaign. He opened up about the new partnership with Esquire earlier this month. “Man, I think what makes me feel confident is knowing that I’m truly myself at all times,” he said about his approach. “I’m 100 percent unique, me. And I know that’s what carries me into every situation. The fact that I love myself. That’s really it. That’s what gives me the most confidence in the world,” he told the publication.
On the music side of things, Cudi is preparing to release a brand-new album called INSANO. This project is going to come out on September 15th. He also dropped off multiple ideas for the album artwork. This is Cudi’s first album since Entergalactic last year, which many people believed to be his last since he announced he was retiring afterward. However, he changed course earlier this year. He said he would drop a project to close his record deal before reevaluating what to do next.
BIA and Nicki Minaj recently took to social media to send each other’s fans into a frenzy with the possibility of a new collab. Moreover, the Trinidadian MC recently revealed that she has a verse on one of the Massachusetts-born rapper’s upcoming songs. Considering how much of a tear the Queen has been on as of late, fans are really excited to hear her rip through another feature. Conversely, it could also be the other way around, which is even more exciting to continue breaking BIA through to larger audiences. On her social media, she posted a video of her listening to Minaj’s upcoming single “Last Time I Saw You,” further fueling team-up speculation.
Furthermore, this would follow a pretty solid and consistent rapport up until this point, even if it’s just two officially released songs. The first is a remix of BIA’s song “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” featuring the 40-year-old. In addition, the two also share verses on the remix of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl,” which features a wealth of other femcees. Either way you slice it, there’s a lot of potential for another link-up to yield fireworks for both artists.
What’s more is that they both have a lot to look forward to in the coming months, whether it’s a specific album rollout or just the next phase of their careers. For example, Nicki Minaj is dropping Pink Friday 2 in November of this year, which has fans salivating for her return. Amid a slew of highly successful singles and guest appearances, the First Lady of Young Money is having the rollout of a lifetime. It’s been a long one, but considering how long we’ve been waiting for a full-length follow-up to 2018’s Queen, this is nothing to complain about.
Meanwhile, the future looks bright for the Really Her star, building up a lot of industry recognition and hit-making potential. Another Nicki support only means more acclaim and eyes on her, so it can never be a bad idea until they start over-saturating it. Right now, though, all we want is more and more, so hopefully this ends up panning out. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on BIA and Nicki Minaj.
Benny The Butcher has previewed a Lil Wayne collab that will serve as his new single and eventually land on the Buffalo native’s ‘Everybody Can’t Go’ album.
Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, is back in the news, this time for old photographs unearthed by the internet community from two and a half years ago.
Rick Ross has been roasted online after flexing Amazon’s Alexa ability to curate songs in his home, which fans quickly noted many people are able to do.
After shows like Atlanta and Dave pulled back the curtain on the music industry, it only makes sense that more shows would follow in their footsteps to depict the highs and lows of the pursuit of stardom from different angles. Issa Rae’s Rap Sh!t addresses the industry’s sexism and double standards through the lens of a rising Miami rap duo, while Netflix’s new show, Neon, returns to Miami to follow an aspiring reggaeton star and his friends as they try to work their way past industry gatekeepers with the help of an insider who isn’t what she seems.
Neon was created by Hip-Hop (And Other Things) author Shea Serrano, who teamed up with Dave writer Max Searle, who is the series’ showrunner. The show’s executive producers also include reggaeton star Daddy Yankee, while Tainy serves as executive music producer with One Six, which is comprised of Tainy, Ivan Rodriguez, Lex Borrero, and Neon16. Here’s a sample of the new music, “Exagero”:
In the trailer, aspiring reggaeton star Santi, portrayed by Tyler Dean Flores (Miguel Wants To Fight), moves to Miami with his best friends/managers Ness and Felix (Emma Ferreira and Jordan Mendoza, respectively) to seek his fortunes after racking up a viral hit. But while he’s earned the respect and appreciation of more established stars (Daddy Yankee among them, naturally), he’ll still need the help of Mia a wannabe A&R, to land a deal and prove he’s not just a one-hit wonder — or even just get a paying gig. Neon premiere on Netflix on October 19. Watch the trailer for Neon above.
When it comes to unique sneaker creations, the AdidasYeezy Foam Runner is certainly up there. Overall, this is a shoe that can be made immediately recognizable thanks to its silhouette. From the holes in the side to its unique shape, this is a shoe that was made to be provocative. However, it has been a huge success for Kanye and his brand. Below, we look at five great colorways for the Fall.
Firstly, we bring you this all-black “Onyx” model. Overall, black is a color that works all-year round. However, it is particularly good in the Fall and Winter when neutral tones are the most prevalent. This is a shoe that will work with any outfit simply because of the color. You cannot go wrong here, especially if you aren’t even sure which color may suit you best. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Secondly, the “Desert Sand” model does an amazing job of displaying the essence of the Fall. The vast majority of this sneaker is covered in a nice shade of sand. It is the type of color that works very well with the Fall. While desert temperatures are not consistent with the Fall, this is still a colorway that makes sense for the season. Another great Foam Runner colorway here is the “MX Cream Clay” model above. This scheme has a unique marble aesthetic that goes over well. From the creamy beige to the dark grey, this is a colorway that stunned fans originally. For some, it might be too basic. Although, if getting a Fall-ready offering is your goal, then these are great. (Image via Stadium Goods)
What would a Fall list be without “Flax.” The wheat-colored offerings from sneaker brands have always worked well during this season. When the weather gets cool, there is something that just compels people to go out and wear this color. Ultimately, it is very easy to understand why as these are just amazing. Lastly, if you are looking for something a little bit grey with a beige veneer, then these are going to be for you. Overall, it is not an exciting colorway in terms of the use of colors. However, these are perfect for muted outfits. If you slap on a pair of grey sweatpants, they will look amazing with these. (Image via Stadium Goods)
