Meek Mill Explains His Lack Of Output, Confirms 4 Upcoming Albums

Meek Mill says that he’s been “handling the business,” and hasn’t been able to drop music for a bit. However, while posting about the situation on Twitter, he also confirmed that he’s got four separate albums in the works.

“If I ain’t drop music it’s a reason I’m handling the business,” he wrote. “We not shinning shoes to look the famous and feel the biggest for a label … and I’m not selling my shit like it’s mid… the game watered down y’all overhyped everything now it’s a drought.”

In a follow-up post, he added: “I’m giving up 4 albums chilllllllll. Switchie flow…. Ima crack the code seriously and say it b4 I do it lol.” Meek hasn’t released an album since his fifth studio album, Expensive Pain, which he dropped back in 2021. The 36-year-old previously teased having two new albums in store for fans during a post on Twitter, just last week. He explained that he’s got one collaborative project with Vory and another that is more of a group effort.

Meek also recently asked fans whether he’s fallen off. The question resulted in many users bringing up his lack of new music in recent years. “Who think I fell off or don’t really think I got it with rapping anymore?” Meek wrote, earlier this month. “I’m fr I need answers and tell the truth I’m not taking it personal. I need to hear how people think before I do what I do! A social experiment! Answer if you a supporter of mines!…I’m not asking for confidence either.”

Meek Mill Confirms New Albums

A photo of Beyonce wearing a cloak as she walks behind Blue Ivy while traveling through Europe is going viral on social media. Many are comparing the singer’s outfit to Darth Vader, among other characters. She’s currently in Europe to perform on her Renaissance World Tour.

“Me, out getting snacks, dressed in my blanket,” one user on Twitter joked in response to the picture. Another compared Beyonce’s look to The Emperor and Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars. “She just wanna avoid the paps. They cant get any pic of her face anyways,” another user theorized.

Blue Ivy has been joining her mother for performances on the Renaissance World Tour throughout its run of shows. JAY-Z has been spotted in attendance at several concerts as well. During one recent performance, Beyonce was able to get the crowd to sing “Happy Birthday” for Solange.

Beyonce is currently touring in support of her seventh studio album, Renaissance. She released the project back on July 29, 2022, as her first solo effort since 2016’s Lemonade. She worked on the album with Nova Wav, The-Dream, Symbolyc One, A. G. Cook, Honey Dijon, Beam, Tricky Stewart, BloodPop, Skrillex, Hit-Boy, No I.D., P2J, and various others. Guest vocalists include Beam, Grace Jones, and Tems. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with 332,000 album-equivalent units, making it Beyonce’s seventh consecutive album to debut atop the chart. The lead single, “Break My Soul,” reached number one the US Billboard Hot 100 as well. Beyonce will continue traveling on the Renaissance World Tour throughout the summer. Rina Sawayama Calls Out Matty Healy: “I’ve Had Enough!”

Rina Sawayama slammed Matty Healy on stage at Glastonbury 2023, over the weekend, to introduce her song, “STFU.” The swipe comes after The 1975 singer recently dealt with a racism controversy regarding an appearance on The Adam Friedland Show podcast. Sawayama, without mentioning Healy by name, also remarked about him consuming “ghetto gaggers” porn.

“I wrote this because I was sick & tired of these micro-aggressions,” Sawayama said on stage. “This goes out to a white man that watches Ghetto Gaggers & mocks Asian people on a podcast. He also owns my masters! I’ve had enough!”

As for Healy’s comments, he, as well as comedians Adam Friedland and Nick Mullen referred to Ice Spice as a “chubby Chinese lady.” They also described her as “Inuit”, “Chinese”, and “Hawaiian.” After plenty of backlash, Healy finally apologized while onstage with The 1975 in Auckland, New Zealand. “I just feel a bit bad, and I’m kind of a bit sorry if I’ve offended you. Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a dick. I love you, Ice Spice. I’m so sorry,” he said at the time.

He continued: “I don’t want anything like that misconstrued to be mean. I’m not… I hate… I don’t mind being a bit of a joker. […] It’s OK for me to be, like, a trickster or whatever, but I don’t want to be perceived as, like, being barmy. Because honestly, I just love you guys, and I love doing this. […] The truth I just want to say, ‘Hello. This is a bit embarrassing. I’m sorry if I get it wrong. We all get it wrong,’ you know? I just have to do it in public and then apologize to Ice Spice. My life’s just a bit weird. I am genuinely sorry if I’ve upset her because I f*cking love her.”

Healy was formerly a director at Dirty Hit, the label to which Sawayama is signed. Outside of music, Rina Sawayama is also known for her recent appearance in John Wick: Chapter 4. She played the character, Akira, in the film.

Last month, Woods also faced allegations that she used the drug Ozempic to lose weight. Fans noted that the businesswoman appeared to have slimmed down in recent months, leading to rumors. Latto also made a remark about enjoying cooking for her man. “He loves when I make food,” she said. “They be trying to crack on me online and he be dead laughing like, ‘What food ain’t good?’ That man cleans the bone.” Elsewhere in the interview, Latto praised Rihanna, Cardi B, and Yung Miami, for recently welcoming children. She remarked that their doing so inspires her.
