When Is SZA’s ‘SOS’ Deluxe Coming Out?

SZA is the subject of a new Billboard cover story that dropped today, as the publication named her Woman Of The Year. During the interview, she confirms what fans had been suspecting for quite a while: that there will be a deluxe version of her chart-topping 2022 album, SOS.

“And, once she releases the deluxe edition of SOS — which will feature 10 additional tracks and is coming soon — SZA says she’ll be done trying to convince herself that she deserves her flowers,” the piece notes.

“After I do the deluxe, I’m hoping to be able to accept that this chapter is done,” SZA said. “I’m looking forward to actually feeling proud of myself and not just smiling and nodding at accolades but really feeling it internally and knowing that I’m good enough.”

While it’s still unclear exactly when we can expect the added ten tracks, it’s just nice to know that it’s on the way. And, hopefully, it won’t take that long to drop — given there were five years between SZA’s debut and sophomore album cycles.

Many fans speculated that the SOS deluxe edition would drop in August, after spotting a potential Easter egg in SZA’s “Kill Bill” music video on the motorcycle license plate, which read “SOS” and “August.” In their defense, she previously used a similar method at the end of her “Shirt” music video to announce her album’s release date.

However, she shut those ideas about the deluxe date down on Twitter. “The deluxe is not coming out in august lol it’s just a license plate,” she wrote.

What Is Omar Apollo’s Song Setlist For The ‘SOS Tour’ With SZA?

The year is filled to the brim with highly-anticipated concert tours and festivals. Chart-topping recording artist SZA’s SOS Tour is near the top of the list. The “Kill Bill” singer launched her North American tour wing of her tour yesterday (February 21) in Columbus, Ohio, at The Jerome Schottenstein Center.

Over the next few weeks, the songwriter will embark on a 15-city tour with support from singer Omar Apollo. The Grammy Best New Artist nominee has quickly gained a fan base due to his deeply emotional approach, which will fit in perfectly with SZA’s discography while on tour. Although SZA’s setlist will fluctuate across each night’s performance, Omar Apollo’s growing fame and discography doesn’t offer as much flexibility.

2 Chainz got a special gift for his son, Halo, after Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant gifted the rapper his jersey. He had been in Salt Lake City over the past weekend for the NBA All-Star Game.

“I told Ja that Halo asked me to get his jersey after all star game and he was wit it,” 2 Chainz shared in an Instagram post, where he posed with Morant’s signed #12 orange jersey.

This latest jersey is just another addition that 2 Chainz got for Halo’s growing collection. Previously, he picked his son up some memorabilia courtesy of New York Knicks guard R.J. Barrett and Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.

2 Chainz had brought Halo out to the Mavs game last May, where Doncic signed it in person. He posted a sweet video of his son watching the replay of the moment on TV at their house.

Tommie Lee’s IG Removed Following Comments About Chris Brown & His Son

It’s turning out to be a rough week for Tommie Lee. The reality star is known for her hot-headed reactions, and while some find it all entertaining, Lee is facing a wave of backlash. Lee and Natalie Nunn have been promoting their upcoming celebrity boxing match for weeks. It will air on the Zeus network this Saturday, but to help hype the bout, the pair have engaged in social media antics. It has certainly helped increase interest, but things went left after they were invited to Chris Brown’s concert in London.

According to Nunn and her Baddies costars, Lee embarrassed them when she allegedly lashed out. According to reports, Brown’s son Aeko was with his mother, Ammika Harris, when Lee noticed the little boy. Someone closed the door in her face, reportedly to shield the boy from the public. Lee allegedly became angry and tried to break the door down. She denied this occurred and while on Livestream, said it was Harris who slammed a door. “F*ck your baby and his daddy, too,” she said during a rant.

Tommie Lee Apologizes To Chris Brown

Lee appeared at a press conference for her Nunn fight, and it was then that she offered an apology. “I want to start off by addressing the elephant in the room. I love the children, I love the children,” she said. It seemed she took note of the pushback. “I just want to apologize to Chris Brown and his baby mother ‘cause it’s not my character.”

Meanwhile, social media users quickly noted that not long after Lee made her comments, her Instagram page vanished. Some thought she deleted it due to the controversy, but Lee has been involved in more tense moments and stayed online. It is unclear why the account disappeared, but it was suggested that it was a move out of her control. She was teased about the page’s removal, but she only reappeared on her business account.

Tommie Lee Refuses To Be Intimidated By The Public

In response, Lee made it clear that she wouldn’t be silenced. “Oh pls I wish I would let y’all run me off the internet,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Yea right the hater did what they do and my sh*t took!” She further stated, “I love when the whole world against me it actually makes me feel closer to God!!!”

Stephen A. Smith Reveals Who Faces The Most Pressure To Win An NBA Title This Year

Stephen A. Smith is certainly one of the best personalities over at ESPN. In fact, one could make the argument that he is the best personality in all of sports media. Overall, he is known for his work on First Take. However, at this point, he should be credited with keeping ESPN afloat. He is a guest on practically all of their programs, and that will not change for a long time. After all, they are paying the man close to $10 million per year, which is a very large chunk of change.

When it comes to Smith, his expertise is definitely in the world of the NBA. Now that the NFL is done for the season, Smith has more opportunities to talk about basketball. On today’s episode of First Take, that is exactly what he did with JJ Redick and Chris Russo by his side. With All-Star done, the conversation has subsequently shifted to which team is going to win the title. Consequently, this has also led to some discourse about who is facing the most pressure. In order to make it simple, Smith created a list.

Stephen A. Concocts A New List

This top five list was based on who is facing the most pressure to come through and win an NBA title. Number five on the list was Kawhi Leonard, while number four was Nikola Jokic. Additionally, Jayson Tatum was at three, James Harden was at two, and number one was Chris Paul. Redick thought this was the perfect list for numerous reasons. Overall, Paul needs a title for his legacy, as does Harden. Moreover, Jayson Tatum needs to exercise the demons from last season’s NBA Finals. As for Jokic and Kawhi, well, one needs to live up to his MVP self, while the other hasn’t done much in Los Angeles.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo was not a huge fan of the list, claiming Kevin Durant needed to be at the top. However, as Smith pointed out, Durant has won two Finals MVPs and two rings. With that in mind, there isn’t really much pressure on him at all. Let us know what you think of Smith’s take, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the basketball world.

Young Chris Explains Signing With Jay-Z Over Dame Dash

Young Chris of the Young Gunz recently explained why he signed with Jay-Z over Dame Dash during the infamous Roc-A-Fella split in the mid-2000s. Appearing on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, Young Chris recalled how Jay-Z pitched himself to him and Freeway while the two were on the road. The legendary rapper told the two that this “shit about to be over.”

“I remember Dame was telling me to do a solo project,” the State Property MC recalled. “That’s kind of why I went with Jay, you know? My loyalty to Neef [Buck]. We already did the first album and I’ma follow up, you feel me? That was my situation. I think back on it sometimes ’cause I never looked at it as being the Bobby of the group. Dame was probably looking at the shit, but we went with Jay and we did what we did.”

Young Chris On “My Expert Opinion”

Young Chris joined Roc-A-Fella as one-half of the Young Gunz alongside Neef Buck. At the time, Jay-Z was publically planning to retire following the release of The Blueprint 2 in 2002. In the wake of that decision, Damon Dash was trying to bring in tons of talent to the Roc-A-Fella roster. The label already boasted Kanye West, The Diplomats, Beanie Sigel, and more. Jay-Z then accepted a position as the CEO and president of Def Jam Recordings. Dame and fellow co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke eventually gave in and sold their stake in the label to Island Def Jam, before forming their own label.

Young Gunz later released their second and final album Brothers from Another with Jay-Z in 2005. The album peaked at number fifteen on the Billboard 200, while selling 138,000 units in the US. It features guest appearances from Pooda Brown, 112, Daz Dillinger, John Legend, Kanye West, and Memphis Bleek. The lead single from the album, “Set It Off,” was produced by Swizz Beatz and peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. They also worked with producers Chad Hamilton, Boola, Bangladesh, and more across the tracklist. In the years since, Chris has continued releasing his own solo music.

Joe Budden Says LeBron’s Finals Competition Was Better Than MJ’s

“Every team LeBron beat is way better than all the teams that Jordan beat.” Joe Budden proclaimed this recently on an episode of his Joe Budden Podcast. This debate has been ongoing for about a decade now, and one of LeBron James’ recent triumphs has re-sparked it again. On Feb. 7, LeBron became the all-time leading scorer in NBA history. Surpassing Laker legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James’ epic two-point fade-away against the Oklahoma City Thunder got him over the mountain.

After this feat, voices from all across Hollywood congratulated LeBron. Shaq, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rihanna, Fat Joe, and more all chimed in on Bron’s record-breaker. Even Michael Jordan, who many debate is the only player ever better than James, had a few words. “Congratulations to LeBron on this incredible achievement. It’s a testament to his hard work, longevity, and his great skill,” MJ said. So, even if they may have a rivalry in the GOAT debate, Bron and MJ can still put their pride to the side at times.

Joe Budden’s Take

Just a few weeks after James practically called himself basketball’s GOAT, Joe Budden seemed to concur. Continuing on his aforementioned Bron vs. MJ rant, Budden explained the discrepancy between their competition. “Roll ’em all in a pack and smoke ’em. All of them teams is trash, stop it. Utah twice, Karl Malone, stop it. The Sonics, stop it. Stop it, he beat up on f**kin’ Dale Ellis and them. Shut the f**k up! He don’t know what it’s like when some killers walk in the gym. Oh sh*t that’s Klay, oh sh*t that’s Steph, Draymond. Oh sh*t, Durant there too. N****s just wildin’ over there!”

Budden asserts that players from the late-2010s Golden State Warriors were much more difficult to play than any teams Jordan played in his NBA Finals appearances. In his quote, Budden mentions Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz and the Seattle Supersonics, led by Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. At the time, both squads were thought to be elite. However, LeBron played against the Warriors in four straight NBA Finals, only winning one of those matchups. Jordan finished his career 6-0 in NBA Finals. Do you think Joe Budden makes a valid point?

Nicki Minaj Poses In Bikini To Announce Return Of Queen Radio

Queen’s royalty Nicki Minaj is having a time in Trinidad since landing there for Carnival a few days ago. The Barbz leader reportedly performed for the festivities, her first time gracing the stage there since her 2020 appearance. Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio Is Back This March

Recently, EPIC Records A&R Vice President Fly Ty made an announcement of his own about the Queen. In a since-expired Instagram Story, the exec revealed he’d spoken to Nicki Minaj about major plans in the works. “Just got off the phone with my sister… This move is about to be so big for Queens,” he wrote. “We[‘re] bringing it back to the drawing board!!!! Call Webb, then call Nitty | Queens n***as and its all hoodies.” While there’s no word on what exactly to expect, fans are hoping this all results in an album this year. It’s been five years since Nicki dropped Queen, her fourth and latest studio release.

In other news, the self-proclaimed “Super Freaky Girl” continues to receive praise from other female musicians when it comes to her longevity in the game. Last month, Ice Spice admitted to bumping Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint album, calling it a “given” on her playlists. Even singer Lil Mo celebrated the worldwide star during her recent debacle with rapper Latto. “Imma be real honest, “ Mo began. “You can’t compare a Latto to a Nicki, ’cause Nicki been in the game. So when [Minaj] say, ‘All these b*tches is my sons,’ people like, ‘Oh, she throwin’ shots.’ No! Because before her, she bows at Lauryn Hill.”
