Donald Trump Threatens To Sue CNN If They Don’t Apologize, Retract “False Statements”: Report

Throughout his tenure in the White House, Donald Trump made it clear that he wasn’t a fan of CNN. The network would regularly share reports that criticized Trump’s presidential decisions, and he often came forward with “Fake News” jibes about CNN and its employees. Although he is no longer a sitting president, Trump has continued to share his thoughts on his own social media platform as well as in his ongoing rallies, causing him to continuously make headlines over his remarks.

As Trump is haunted by the possibility of the Department of Justice investigating him over the January 6 insurrection on the Capitol, he has reportedly threatened to sue CNN for making false statements about him.

According to Deadline, the former president alleged that the network has made repeated untrue statements about him.

“This letter serves as formal notice of the false statements about President Donald J. Trump (“President Trump”) in numerous articles and televised transmissions published by Cable News Network, Inc. (“CNN”) including, but not limited to, those discussed below,” a document from Trump’s attorney reportedly reads. They specifically noted the coverage of Trump’s claims that the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen.

“In this instance, President Trump’s comments are not lies: He subjectively believes that the results of the 2020 presidential election turned on fraudulent voting activity in several key states,” the court documents continued. “Without regard for President Trump’s genuine belief in his statements, CNN has published numerous articles characterizing him as a ‘liar’ and the purveyor of the ‘Big Lie.'”

Trump demands that CNN corrects its reports, apologizes to him for its coverage, and issue retractions. He also wants it done within a 10-day period that reportedly ends on the 31st. If CNN does not agree, Trump threatens to file a lawsuit where he seeks damages.

Lil Uzi Vert Voices Support For Kodak Black Amid Legal Drama

One day after Kodak Black took to Twitter to plead his case, Lil Uzi Vert has come forward to support his friend. Recently, Kodak was in Florida when he was reportedly pulled over due to his window’s tints being too dark. During the traffic stop, police were said to have discovered that the rapper’s tags were expired as well as pills inside of the vehicle, so he was arrested on the spot.

Kodak was released and has been able to continue performing, most recently joining Kendrick Lamar on the Rolling Loud Miami stage, but he wasn’t finished airing out his grievances with police over his arrest.

When Kodak was taken into custody, police allegedly found nearly two dozen Oxycodone pills on the rapper, but according to reports, Kodak’s legal team insists that they were prescribed. Earlier this year, Kodak was reportedly shot, and it was stated that the prescription is being used to help with his pain.

Kodak called the allegations “character assassination” and stated that the police pulled him over because of “racial profiling,” and Uzi voiced his support on Twitter.

“Everybody know Kodak Jus got shot I seen this N*gga with his scripts,” said Uzi. “Idk why he going thru this sh*t still Mannn Wtf going on down there In Broward ? @KodakBlack1k you blessed tho fam you will threw any situation that’s put in front of you [salute emoji][100 emoji].”

Soulja Boy Calls Charleston White A Rat After He Threatens Police Report

Usually, when Soulja Boy has been involved in internet spats that roll into an ongoing back and forth, he tires out his opponents with his antics. This time, the public believes that Soulja has met his match, as Charleston White isn’t one to back down from a viral confrontation. This all began days ago when rumors began circulating that Soulja and his entourage attempted to confront White, and in turn, White quickly pepper sprayed the rapper. White then popped up on Livestream where he confirmed the gossip, causing Soulja to clap back.

The rapper poked the bear when he insulted White, and soon, insults were being slung by both sides.

These two have been jumping on Livestreams, separately, to fire off verbal jabs and alleged threats. Earlier today (July 27), this debacle received yet another update after it was reported that White took note of Soulja’s alleged online threats and filed a police report against the rapper.

In a video, White is seen speaking with someone on the phone as he requests a police report.

“Soulja making threats of having me killed,” said White before giving the rapper’s government name. He also included an Ira Malcolm, known as Flo Malcolm, who is reportedly one of Soulja’s artists. “They got something for bad motherf*ckas…jail.”

It is unclear if White actually filed the report or if he’s just stirring things up, but when Soulja caught wind of the news, he seemed amused and posted several rat emojis. Check it out below.

JayDaYoungan Allegedly Shot In Lousiana: Report

Troubling news has begun to make its way to social media about rapper JayDaYoungan. The Louisiana native has made headlines in recent years due to his string of run-ins with the law, but this time, it is being reported by multiple outlets that Jay has been injured during a shooting. Details regarding the incident are scarce at the moment, but SayCheese reported that they’ve spoken to sources that have allegedly confirmed the information.

After believing that the situation was a critical one, My Mixtapez returned to report that Jay allegedly died from his injuries. That has not been substantiated at the time of this publication.

“Louisiana rapper Jaydayoungan & his father were allegedly shot today in their hometown,” SayCheese reported. “He was transported to the hospital on a helicopter. Close sources told us he wasn’t breathing at the time. As the story develops. [praying hands emoji].”

JayDaYoungan’s fans have taken to social media to grieve the Southern star, but his team has yet to speak on the controversy, nor has information regarding the rapper’s father been shared. Well wishes and prayers have poured in and the rumor about his death has run rampant as condolences are already being offered.

We’ll keep you updated on this as more information arises and hope JayDaYoungan pulls through. A woman who was identified as an alleged relative of the rapper denied claims that he passed away. Check it out below.

Future Is Officially One Of The Top Achieving Gold And Platinum Rappers Of All Time

Usually, when the current rap hierarchy is discussed, the same three names come up as the best: Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. Things get a bit murky when it comes to the next spot, with names like Kanye West and Nicki Minaj often coming up. However, there is a strong hive that advocates for Future deserving a spot in the conversation, and his latest achievement certainly adds to their argument. On July 27, the DS2 artist was recognized by the RIAA for over 95 million units certified Gold, Platinum, or more over the course of his career.

The Grammy award-winning rapper was honored in a private event at Soho House Miami Beach where RIAA COO Michele Ballantyne and Epic Records Chairwoman and CEO Sylvia Rhone were both in the building. They gifted him with special plaques commemorating this unprecedented milestone.

Future’s career spans of nine albums and 68 songs, placing him in rarified air with one of the highest totals in history throughout RIAA’s 65-year-old existence. It comes on the heels of his latest album, I Never Liked You, reaching Gold status in under three months, with the standout record “Wait For U” featuring Drake and Tems already double Platinum and “Puffin On Zootiez” certified Gold.

Ballantyne had this to say about the major moment: “We’re thrilled to celebrate that Future now has 95 million RIAA certified units spanning 9 albums and 68 separate singles! He’s in an elite group – very few artists have achieved this level of success in the history of our nearly 65 year old program. Congratulations to Future and his incredible Epic Records and Freebandz teams!”

That number four spot in the rap hierarchy might have just been officially claimed.
