WSTRN & BackRoad Gee Team Up On “Unload”

WSTRN and Backroad Gee are closing out July on a high note. The Afroswing collective and the East Londoner collided this week for a fiery banger titled, “Unload” with production coming from PRGRSHN. The record has a heavy dancehall vibe to it but Backrad Gee’s menacing bars offer the grittiness of UK’s rap scene for a banging anthem. It’s definitely one of those records that will be in heavy rotation this summer.

WSTRN hasn’t dropped a full-length project since 2019’s WSTRN Season, Vol. 2 but they’ve continued to bless fans with new music, such as “Never Leave” with Lila Iké.

As for Backroad Gee, he’s still riding high off of the release of his debut album, Reporting Live (From The Backroads).

Soulja Boy Unveils New Project “Soulja World 2”

The rapper continues to find himself in beef and controversies but things have escalated quite a bit with Charleston White. Though the internet personality allegedly called the cops on Big Draco, the Atlanta artist isn’t allowing these small feuds fuck up his hustle.

This week, Soulja Boy came through with the official follow-up to 2021’s Soulja World. The 16-song project does not boast any features, allowing Soulja Boy to shine all on his own. It also includes the single, “Chanel,” which he released prior to the releasing his new project.

Fenix Flexin has been applying pressure over the past two years as he’s established his solo catalog.

After releasing his self-titled solo debut in 2021, he’s returned with the follow-up. Fenix Flexin Vol. 2 finds the rapper come through with sleek West Coast bangers with eerie production and vivid tales of the streets. It’s another excellent body of work that proves Fenix Flexin is gunning for longevity in hip-hop.
