Drake Partied To Some ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ Cuts At A Black Coffee Show In Ibiza

When Drake dropped his latest album, Honestly, Nevermind, more than a few of his longtime fans were thrown by what they (incorrectly) identified as “mall music.” But maybe the thing missing for those fans was the proper context — something fans got in when The Boy himself popped out during his collaborator Black Coffee’s concert in Ibiza, Spain to perform some selections from the controversial album. Black Coffee posted a few videos to his social media of Drake surprising fans mid-set, and let’s just say that those songs definitely work better in this context.

In one, Drake can be seen rubbing shoulders in the crowd, grooving to the infectious four-on-the-floor beats from “A Keeper,” while in the other, Drake joins Black Coffee on stage as “Massive” — one of the near-consensus faves from the new album — inspires some two-stepping (although many of the fans have their phones out to capture the moment the two stars embrace).

Drake has had something of an eventful week in Europe outside of music as well. On Friday, rumors circulated online that Drake had been arrested by Swedish authorities, with “Free Drake” trending on Twitter. And while that rumor was initially shot down, Drake himself did appear to confirm that he was at least temporarily detained, sharing a photo of a document from the Swedish National Police Board.

Rico Nasty Struts Her Stuff In The Stylish ‘Blow Me’ Video

Rico Nasty is well-known for her brash energy and punk-influenced rasp of a voice, but she’s also equally well-known for her unique sense of style. Rico’s ‘fits run the gamut from thrashed-out baby doll outfits — like Clueless with a hardcore makeover — to catwalk-ready haute couture. In her new video for “Blow Me,” she showcases her style with a simple setup, strutting on a treadmill against a white background as she cycles seamlessly through a series of wild ensembles.

“Blow Me” is the latest single from Rico’s upcoming album Las Ruinas, which is due on July 22 through Atlantic Records. Although it’s the follow-up to her debut album Nightmare Vacation, it’s said to be much lighter in comparison. While that suggests a return to the airy “sugar trap” of her early mixtapes, it’s clear from previously released tracks like “Black Punk,” “Blow Me,” “Skullflower,” and “Vaderz” that “lighter” is relative when it comes to Rico Nasty. The project will also feature appearances from fellow genre benders Bktherula, Teezo Touchdown, and Marshmello, along with a remix of Fred Again’s “Jungle.”

Watch Rico Nasty’s “Blow Me” video above. Las Ruinas is due on 7/22 on Atlantic Records.

Rico Nasty is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Post Malone Will Play ‘Apex Legends’ On Four ‘Gaming For Love’ Charity Livestream Events

Post Malone loves gaming in all its forms, whether he’s playing party games like beer pong, card games like Magic The Gathering, or video games like Pokémon. Now, Malone is going to try his hand at being a video game streamer with a run of charity livestreams.

Dubbed “Gaming For Love,” the streams are scheduled to take place on July 18, 20, 22, and 24 on Malone’s Twitch, with each stream starting at 6 p.m. PT and set to run for six hours apiece. During that time, Posty and pals will be playing Apex Legends, and Apex developer Respawn Entertainment will be donating $10,000 during each stream. Viewer donations will benefit different non-profits for each broadcast: Human Rights Watch (July 18), Project HOPE (July 20), United Way (July 22), and The Trevor Project (July 24).

Malone said in a statement, “Tune in as I game for love & raise money for Human Rights Watch, United Way, Project HOPE, & The Trevor Project. And shout out to Apex Legends & Respawn Entertainment for their support. Donate & spread love.”

Video game livestreams have proven to be an effective way to raise money for worthwhile causes: The recent Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) event, which ran from June 26 to July 3, raised over $3 million for Doctors Without Borders. Meanwhile, this year’s Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ), which took place from January 9 to 16, brought in over $3.4 million (the most ever for a GDQ event) for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Ciara Gets Low For Instagram In A Sultry Squatting Snapshot

“1, 2, Step” hitmaker Ciara has never been one to shy away from sprinkling thirst traps for her fans across her Instagram feed, and this weekend was no exception. On Sunday (July 17), the mother of three shared a snapshot that finds her looking back at the camera while cooly sitting in a Nicki Minaj-inspired squat, flexing her behind for her 32.4M followers.

In the caption, Ci referenced the lyrics to her latest release – a twerk-worthy anthem called “Jump” – writing, “Now stop..Let it breathe..Get low to ya knees..Aye.”

La La Anthony dropped by the comment section to hype her good friend up, and countless fans followed suit. “Whew Russ, I understand,” one user wrote, bringing the starlet’s NFL player husband into the conversation.

“Oh okay sis, on a Sunday! #blessed,” and “How is anyone supposed to look at this shot and remember to breathe at the same time?!” others added.

For the photo, Ciara switched up the long dark locks that she’s been rocking as of late, showing out in a bright red curly style with her face completely glammed up. Her wrists were covered in gold bangles and the towering heels on her feet prove that she wasn’t coming to play.

As Daily Mail notes, the 36-year-old revealed back in May that she’s completed her eighth studio album, following 2019’s Beauty Marks.

Though we’ve received an accompanying music video for “Jump,” it remains unclear exactly when Ciara will be dropping, or what her project will be titled – tap back in with HNHH later for any updates.

As for what fans can expect from the event, Curry avoided going into details, but hinted at including his wife, Ayesha, in the ceremony.

“I don’t want to give away too many surprises,” he said. “We might try to include [Ayesha] in some of the skits or some of the on-stage stuff…we’ll see.”

Ayesha and Curry already have experience hosting together, having run the game show About Last Night on HBO Max, earlier this year. For the series, the Currys would invite celebrity couples on the program to compete in relationship trivia and games to see who knows their partner best.

“We’ll see what happens,” he said of his chances.

The 2022 ESPY Awards are scheduled for this Wednesday, July 20.

6ix9ine Makes Peace With SteveWillDoIt Following Perkio Incident

It seems like Tekashi 6ix9ine has no problem burning bridges. Though no one in the hip-hop community really rocks with him, he’s made friends with plenty of YouTubers who aren’t as pressed about 6ix9ine’s mode of operation. SteveWillDoit of The Nelk Boys didn’t shy away from showing love to 6ix9ine in the past but things took a turn for the worst following the whole Perkio situation.

SteveWillDoIt practically denounced Tekashi 6ix9ine after running up on Lil Durk’s lookalike in an attempt to piss off the Chicago rapper. The whole incident painted Steve as the bad guy in the situation but he tried his best to make it right. He gifted Perkio new jewelry, shoes, and more along with cash and crypto.

It seemed as if SteveWillDoIt wasn’t going to be working with 6ix9ine again in the future but it seems like the two have made amends. Steve took to Instagram where he shared a photo of himself, 6ix9ine and Vendome Miami owner Byram ByBy at the club where he confirmed that they had squashed whatever feud they had.

“Fck what anyone says 69 my dawg 4L. Shit happens but that’s life. Life’s a gamble @stake,” he wrote.

Perhaps, we’ll see the two creating content together in the future now that they’ve put their issues to the side. No word from Perkio but we’ll keep you posted if he does chime in.

Today (July 18), the 25-year-old continued her hot streak with the arrival of “Blow Me” and its accompanying music video which finds her modelling a wide array of outfits while walking on a moving platform and singing her lyrics for the camera.

“Talk sick shit / You gon have to show me,” she begins. “Rich bitch drugs / You gon’ have to blow me / Now I’m all messed up / You gon’ have to hold me.”

Hours before dropping off the new song, Rico unveiled the Las Ruinas tracklist, boasting features from BKTHERULA, Teezo Touchdown, and Marshmello as well as a selection of solo titles that will see her making music for herself, and not just to attain the coveted feat of a No. 1 album or more streams.
