VH1 Cuts Ties with Ceasar Emanuel of ‘Black Ink Crew’ After Video Shows Him Abusing a Dog

Ceasar Emanuel, star of Black Ink Crew, has been cut from VH1. On Thursday, a video went viral showing the creator of the Black Ink brand abusing a dog with a chair, tossing his cage, and more. In response, VH1 has decided to no longer work with the New York native.

Ceasar owns the Black Ink Tattoo shop in New York City, in addition to shops in Atlanta, Orlando, and Houston.

A statement from VH1 was released on social media Thursday afternoon:

We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season.

Speaking with TMZ, Ceasar’s attorney, Walter Mosley, pointed out the video is old. “There is no police involvement,” Mosley said. “It was shot at his residence in Atlanta during COVID.”

Former Black Ink Crew cast member spoke out against Ceasar online, while sharing the video.

“If you can treat a dog like this, it shows how sick of a person you truly are,” she wrote. “I don’t even get into the life of this man, but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE animals. Especially dogs.”

She added, “Even after he beat his daughter up, @vh1 @viacom_intl & the new @blackinkcrew producers tried to protect Ceaser, even made up fake conflicting storylines about my relationship to do it! Now this, cannot be undone. I pray the people see you, @ceaserblackink , as the monster you are. Your karma has been adding up for years, but to do this to two innocent dogs!?! This is crazy. CHARGES NEED TO BE PRESSED, and CANCELLATIONS NEED TO BE MADE!”

Omarion And Mario’s ‘Verzuz’ Night Was A True Mess Complete With Watermelons, Disses, And Other Chaotic Moments

Verzuz made its return tonight with its previously announced matchup between 2000s R&B favorites Mario and Omarion. The battle was a bit different from the past ones we’ve seen on the platform over the past two years. In addition to it being a live event from Los Angeles, Mario and Omarion’s battle also featured an undercard that placed Ray J and Bobby V in a battle against Sammie and Pleasure P. If you expected things to go smoothly throughout the night, we’re here to tell you that was far from the case, and it started long before Mario and Omarion took the stage.

Ray J and Bobby V’s battle against Sammie and Pleasure P featured plenty of moments that sent social media into a frenzy. There was Ray J being quite off-key as he sang his fan-favorite “One Wish.” Then, Bobby V, Sammie, and Pleasure P joined forces to sing “One Wish” on-key. Then Ray told the trio that they were “just mad y’all don’t own y’all hits.” Sammie also declared that there “wouldn’t be no Bobby V without Sammie” and he also referred to Ray J as “Brandy’s brother.”

Now, if you thought things would be much smoother during Omarion and Mario’s battle, we’re here to tell you that was also not the case. Mario repeated told Omarion and his guestsm, which included Jeremih, Tank, and more, that they sounded off-key. Omarion tried to clown Mario for not being on the Millenium Tour, but Mario said he didn’t “wanna be in that raggedy sh*t.” To make things even more out of control, Omarion and his brother O’Ryan attempted to seduce (?) the crowd by eating a large slice of watermelon on stage.

All in all, as you can see in the above videos, this Verzuz was nothing short of chaotic and entertaining.

However, if you’d like to be entertained further, you can see more moments and reactions from tonight’s Verzuz below.

Lil Nas X and NBA YoungBoy Collide On “Late To Da Party”

One of the most anticipated singles to be released this New Music Friday (June 24) comes from Lil Nas X and NBA YoungBoy. This pairing came as a surprise to some, but for others who have followed Nas X’s career, it is already known that the Georgia hitmaker shares unexpected collaborations quite frequently.

It wasn’t just these two on a track together that stunned music lovers; Lil Nas X has been promoting this single “Late To Da Party” relentlessly as he goes after BET. This weekend, the BET Awards take over Los Angeles, but when the network released their list of nominations earlier this month, Nas X was upset that he was snubbed this go-’round.

Most would take this in stride, but because his “Industry Baby” hit featuring Jack Harlow was a massive chart-topper in Hip Hop and Pop circles, Nas X blamed deep-rooted homophobia as the culprit. The visual to “Late To Da Party” opens with Lil Nas X chanting “F*ck BET” as it shows someone peeing on a BET Award, so his gripe with the network doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon…and yes, YoungBoy makes an appearance in the music video, as well.

This one could be a major crossover for YoungBoy. Stream Lil Nas X and NBA YoungBoy’s “Late To Da Party” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

A hundred b*tches with a hundred thousand on my wrist, yeah
Baddie in my bed and she plan on drivin’ me (What?)
Demons in my head, I can’t stop ’em all from rottin’ me
She want me to buy her some CCs

“Rialto raised us in the most amazing way,” they said. “We attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Rialto, and this is where the group was formed. If it weren’t for the positive influences in our lives from teachers to family to coaches, etc., this would not have been possible. Fad Way will be standing long after we are gone, and that’s a legacy that our children and their children can all be proud of.”

In April, they performed “Supersonic” at the opening of the CinemaCon Convention as a tribute to Paramount’s “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” film.

Are you Team Paul or Team Fury?

YouTube star-turned-undefeated Pro Boxer Jake Paul (5-0-4 KO) will return to the ring on August 6 to take on the Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s younger brother, Tommy Fury (8-0-4 KO), in Madison Square Garden. Originally scheduled for last December, however, Fury was forced to withdraw due to injury, leaving Paul to fight a rematch bout against Tyron Woodley instead, and earned a knockout victory in the eighth round.

A rivalry between Paul and Fury erupted in early 2021 with the two boxers exchanging words across social media. The upcoming fight marks Jake Paul’s third fight in a six-fight deal with Showtime Boxing. Paul-Fury will be co-presented by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

“I wasn’t sure I was going to say yes to another potential matchup against Tommy after he pulled out of our matchup last year,” Paul said via press release on Thursday. “But ultimately, knocking out a Fury was too appealing to pass up.”

Tommy Fury will be the first “actual” boxer to face Jake Paul after accumulating a buzzing undefeated resume with two MMA fighters (Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren), a Basketball player (Nate Robinson), and a fellow YouTuber star (AnEsonGib). “The Paul brothers’ boxing charade is about to come to an end once and for all,” Fury said. “I am a boxer. My opponent plays boxing. Jake Paul has been dressed up to look like a boxer against retirees from other sports. On August 6, I will show the world that he does not belong in the ring.”

Now a promoter, Paul signed his first boxer, WBC and WBO featherweight champion Amanda Serrano, last December. Serrano will co-headling the August lineup with Paul as she will fight Argentina’s Brenda Carabajal.

An official press conference for the upcoming boxing match will be held this Wednesday. Paul vs. Fury will be available on Showtime Pay-Per-View. Tickets go on-sale Wednesday, July 29.
