It’s been a strong year for Baby as far as awards go. Back in April, the My Turn rapper won his first Grammy for his work on Kanye West’s “Hurricane,” which took home best melodic rap performance.

Sony Music Publishing won the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul publisher of the year award. Accepting the award, Walter Jones, the company’s executive vice president, head of A&R, said: “None of this is possible without our songwriters – they are the cornerstone of the music business and we appreciate the effort they put in day in and day out to write today’s biggest hits.”

Zacari & Isaiah Rashad Team Up On “Bliss”

It’s been nearly three years since Zacari released his debut album, Run Wild Run Free but it seems like we could be getting his follow-up this year. Over the past few months, he’s delivered collaborations alongside Blxst and Isabella but today, he’s shared his first solo entry of 2022. However, he did bring some help for the record from Isaiah Rashad.

The two connect for their hypnotic new record titled, “Bliss.” The song begins with an old school Memphis sample before Isaiah Rashad emerged with a muddy and braggadocious flow. However, Zacari marries the Southern sound with gleaming synths and a shimmering vocal performance.

Isaiah Rashad previously dropped the deluxe version of The House Is Burning in late 2021.

Check out Zacari and Isaiah Rashad’s new collab below.

XXXTENTACION’s Mom Says Fans Travelled Cross-Country For His Death Anniversary

Cleopatra Bernard sat down with TMZ this week where she revealed that she was surprised when she went to visit her son’s mausoleum in Florida and saw a crowd of fans who were waiting to pay respects. She explained that there was no planned event to honor XXXTENTACION on his anniversary but fans came through to show their support on their own.

Bernard explained that fans came from places like Los Angeles and Virginia to pay their respects at the early hours of the morning. She only arrived at 4 p.m. to open the mausoleum for the viewing when she witnessed a huge crowd. Two individuals were invited to join her for a candle lit vigil that same evening.

XXXTENTACION fans were treated to a new project earlier this month to accompany the Hulu documentary surrounding his life. Look At Me: The Album includes 25 songs that were previously only available on Soundcloud and YouTube. It also included “True Love” ft. Kanye West, which also landed on Donda 2 earlier this year.

We’ll keep you posted on more updates surrounding new music from XXXTENTACION’s estate. Check out footage below.

Kim Kardashian says that co-parenting with Kanye West is going well after the two were spotted together at their daughter North West’s basketball game over the weekend. Kardashian discussed her relationship with West during an appearance on Today, Tuesday.

“It’s going good,” the 41-year-old told the hosts. “We had, you know, Father’s Day at the house. The kids spent the day with him and then we had a big Father’s Day dinner and North cooked.”

Kardashian had shared a post labeling Ye the “best dad” to their children on Father’s Day: “Thank you for being the best dad to our babies and loving them the way you do. Happy Father’s Day Ye.”

When asked about the post, Kardashian explained: “Of course, I wanted to honor and respect the amazing people and fathers [and] men in my life that have raised me and are raising my children. So everything’s going good.”

West and Kardashian were married from 2014 through 2022, although the couple technically separated in early 2021. In addition to North, they share three more children in Saint West, Psalm West, and Chicago West.

Tom Brady Declares Pusha T’s “It’s Almost Dry” As Album Of The Year

Pusha T dropped one of the best albums of the year just a couple of months ago. It’s Almost Dry is yet another impeccably produced album by the veteran MC, and there is no doubt that the project has resonated with a large variety of hip-hop fans. In fact, the album has certainly gotten the attention of Tom Brady, who recently took to Twitter with a video of himself running to the song “Dreaming of the Past.”

King Push saw this and decided to respond on Twitter with quite a bit of excitement. “Wow, @TomBrady really listening to the rap album of the year!!! #ItsAlmostDry#DreamingOfThePast !! Check him out,” Pusha T wrote.

Brady is typically always active on Twitter, so it should come as no surprise that he immediately picked up on Pusha T’s shoutout. This led to Brady responding to the artist, noting that the album is easily the best to come out this year, regardless of genre distinctions.

“Album of the year!” Brady wrote matter-of-factly.

Brady will be going into his 23rd season in the NFL, and we’re sure Push’s music is helping him get locked in. After all these years, Brady continues to shine and his pursuit of an eighth title will most definitely be fun to watch.

Montana recently released a video for the album’s intro track, “Blue Chills.” The project will be produced by Harry Fraud.

“This album takes me back to my roots and original wave sound with Harry. I create my best work with him and always trust him to see the vision,” Montana recently told TMZ. “I think the fans are going to appreciate this one, it’s really going to bring them back.”

Earlier in the weekend, Adams was seen celebrating at a fundraising event in the Hamptons at 75 Main. He also reportedly attended a Tribeca Festival party
