A$AP Rocky & Rihanna Are Not Getting Married Despite Music Video Proposal

A$AP Rocky had himself a massive day on Thursday as he released his latest single, “D.M.B.” In true Rocky fashion, the artist released an accompanying music video for the track, and it featured his sweetheart Rihanna. As everyone knows by now, Rihanna is pregnant with their first child together, and everyone has been head over heels for these two as a power couple.

In the music video, the two can be seen in various locations throughout New York. The visuals are quite stunning, and the two do a great job of varying up the scenery as well as their outfits. Overall, the video is quite striking, and fans couldn’t help but notice the scene in which Rocky’s grills say “Marry Me?” while Riri’s say “I Do.”

Of course, fans immediately took this as a sign that the two were either married or were going to get married soon. In the end, it appears as though that is not the case. According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge of the situation have confirmed that the two just wanted to have some fun with their music video. Needless to say, fans might be a bit disappointed by this news.

As for some of the hardware that could be seen in the video, Rihanna’s grills were made by custom artist Dolly Cohen who truly did a phenomenal job with the piece below.

Let us know what you thought of the stunning music video, in the comments below.

Dave Chappelle’s Attacker Won’t Be Charged With Felony: Report

There has been no shortage of reactions after Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage at Netflix Is A Joke Festival. The comedian was handling his duties on stage when an individual, who was identified as Isaiah Lee, ran on stage and attempted to tackle Dave while carrying a replica gun with a knife. The result was a serious ass-beating that landed him in the back of an ambulance and an array of memes that followed.

Despite the incredibly public incident, the District Attorney has opted out of charging Isaiah Lee with a felony. Per TMZ, The L.A. County D.A.’s Office determined that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue felony charges against Lee. “After reviewing the evidence, prosecutors determined that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct,” the statement reads.

The D.A.’s office turned the case over to the city attorney who felt similarly about charging Lee with a felony. LAPD pushed for a felony when they turned over their findings of the investigation but the D.A. pushed back. There’s also tension between L.A. County D.A. George Gascón and the LAPD because he’s decided against filing felony charges in cases where they are typically filed.

While Dave has gone on to crack jokes about the attack, the brother of the Isaiah Lee told Rolling Stone that he was caught off guard by the news.

“I don’t have anything negative to say about Isaiah. He’s a performing artist who tries to stay as positive as possible. He does have a history of mental health issues. He does take medicine. Maybe he missed out on taking his prescription. But he’s not the type to just lash out. I don’t understand,” Aaron Lee said.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates surrounding the incident.

DaBaby Won’t Face Charges For North Carolina Property Shooting: Report

There’s a long list of legal troubles that DaBaby’s faced over the course of his career but the shooting that occurred on his property last month isn’t one of them. According to TMZ, the rapper’s been cleared of any wrongdoing in the case involving a man who was shot on his North Carolina property.

Iredell County D.A. reviewed documents relating to the incident and determined that DaBaby won’t face any charges. They concluded that he was acting in self-defense when he shot a man who trespassed onto his property

An individual apparently climbed the walls of DaBaby’s property back in April before encountering the rapper. DaBaby shot the man in the leg after a confrontation. DaBaby called the authorities immediately after to inform them of what went down. A leaked clip of the call emerged online shortly after where DaBaby calmly informed the operator that he shot someone on his property out of self-defense. At one point, the victim is heard yelling in pain in the background.

After the shooting, DaBaby shared a clip from Paid In Full where Cam’ron infamously says, “N***as get shot every, B. You’ll be aight, n***a. You tough, right?”

DaBaby captioned the post, “Chose not to take a n***a life the other day & it felt great. Buddy ain’t deserve to go, I step righteously. Heal up & live my boy! Just don’t bring ya ass back.”

Coi Leray Praises Eminem Following Benzino’s Twitter Rant

Benzino has a very obvious distaste for Eminem, and he has no problems airing those grievances out on social media. For instance, it was revealed this past week that Eminem would be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It is his first year of eligibility and given the fact that other hip-hop artists have been inducted in the past, it only made sense that a superstar like Em would make the cut.

In the eyes of Benzino, however, Em is undeserving of the honor as he believes there are a ton of black artists who should have received that honor first. Below, you can see the list of names he presented in order to justify his argument.

Eminem has now been inducted to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame before countless Black hip-hop pioneers who paced the way for his success. What message does that send?” Benzino wrote. “So where’s Nas, Eric B and RAKIM, Kool Moe D, Epmd, Fearless Four, Fat Boyz, Lauren Hill, Little Kim, OutKast and 100s other Black rappers?? GTFOH.”

Today, Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray took to Twitter where she actually defended Eminem. Leray has stood in opposition of her father on a plethora of topics, and Eminem’s induction is no exception. In fact, Leray called for healing and letting go of past indiscretions.

“I’m about love, equality, respect and forgiveness. I have nothing against Eminem, 25 years of my life all I know is he a very talented artist and actor ! (8 Mile was great) Let’s build bridges and get over them before you burn the bridge and burn with it,” Leray wrote. “Part of healing is letting the past go.”

The Eminem Rock & Roll Hall of Fame debate is one that will certainly be had for weeks to come. With that in mind, give us your thoughts on Benzino’s rant, in the comments down below.

Michael Blackson Posts Up With Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Prior To Dave Chappelle Attack

Comedian Michael Blackson revealed he was hanging out backstage with A$AP Rocky and Rihanna at the Hollywood Bowl moments before Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage during the live Netflix Comedy Festival, Netflix is a Joke.

Blackson shared a photo of himself with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky flanking him on either side, poking fun at just how pregnant Rihanna is in his caption: “I thought I was going to have to deliver a baby last night backstage at the Hollywood bowl, all this happened 30 mins before some rapper with 3,000 mixtapes and no album attacked my neega Dave. The clout chaser ended up with a new eye and two left arms. Yesterday security is not today’s security lol.”

He also took to Twitter to share a slightly different (and slightly blurry) photo of him with the power couple with the caption, “I almost had to deliver their baby last night right before Dave Chappelle got attacked.” Immediately following the incident, Blackson tweeted, “Some nut ass BeechAssNeega rushed Dave Chapelle on stage tonight smh. I’m about to start a Death Row Comedy.”

Blackson kept the jokes coming later, posting a meme of the attacker with the caption, “Anyone else wants to rush the stage while we telling jokes?”

The suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Lee, rushed at Chappelle with an ejectable knife disguised as a gun. Lee was arrested and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon while also being treated for severe injuries as Dave’s security cornered Lee into a beatdown.
