Nick Cannon Says He’s Celibate Right Now

Actor, comedian, and Wild ‘N Out host Nick Cannon has been in the headlines more than a few times over the last year, and recently, he made a guest appearance on REVOLT TV’s Drink Champs podcast to touch on a few of those rumors and reports, among other things.

On the latest episode of the show, Cannon linked up with hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN discussing everything from cancel culture (in light of his anti-Semitic comments that went viral earlier this year) to his first time meeting Pharrell and Clipse. In the more than hour-long interview, Cannon affirmed a celibacy pledge he made with his therapist when asked about the possibility of having more children.

“They’ve recently judged you for having so many kids,” N.O.R.E. comments at around the 45-minute mark.

“I told you, man. I’m celibate right now,” Cannon replied. “Imma see if I can make it to 2022.”

In July, Cannon’s name started trending on Twitter after news broke that he was expecting his seventh child with Wild ‘N Out model Alyssa Scott. That month, Scott gave birth to Cannon’s son Zen. Cannon was brought under fire for having multiple children within a short timespan, having also just welcomed twins, sons Zion and Zillion, with radio DJ Abby De La Rosa the month before, and his daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell back in December. Cannon also has a 4-year-old son named Golden with Bell, not to mention his 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with legendary singer Mariah Carey, his ex-wife.

“I’m low on the totem pole, but I love all my kids,” Cannon says on the Drink Champs episode.

Andy Reid Offers An Update On Josh Gordon’s Playing Status

After numerous suspensions due to drug use, Josh Gordon has received plenty of NFL opportunities. He is a top-tier wide receiver talent, but he has never been able to remain consistent due to those suspensions. After stints with the New England Patriots and more recently the Seattle Seahawks, Gordon has shown that he can still play at a high level, even if his off-the-field actions have led to some doubt concerning his availability.

This past week, it was revealed that Gordon would be signing with the Kansas City Chiefs, who are known for always having a ton of great wide receivers. Gordon was not available this past weekend as the Chiefs beat the Eagles, although there is a hope that he will be able to play against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.

In his weekly press conference on Monday, Andy Reid spoke out about Gordon’s availability, noting that the team is very hopeful that he can have him in the lineup. At this point, there is a legitimate chance that he suits up, which is good news considering he has spent the last week on the practice squad.

The Chiefs have had a difficult start to the season, as they are currently at 2-2. They were thought to be Super Bowl contenders, and if they really want to prove it, they will have to go out and beat the Bills this weekend.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the NFL.

Cordae Snaps Over Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” In New Freestyle

Cordae is widely regarded as one of the most promising young lyricists in the game. Note that in this context, promising speaks to his overarching career potential; rest assured that he’s already made a lasting impression on many of the game’s most respected emcees, including names like Eminem, Jadakiss, and J. Cole.

With his upcoming album From A Bird’s Eye View steadily in the works, Cordae has continued to sharpen his blade ahead of the big sophomore release. Recently, the rapper took a moment to hit up Twitch streamer Adin Ross’s page and spit a few impromptu freestyle bars.

For the occasion, they queued up the instrumental to Drake, Young Thug, and Future’s Certified Lover Boy banger “Way 2 Sexy.” Following Ross’ own opening verse, Cordae steps up to show him how it’s done, spitting focused bars that seem to be drawn from an unreleased song. If they really are off the dome — then damn, Cordae truly is a prodigy. Either way, the punchlines and relentless flow schemes are enough to captivate those in attendance, with Ross looking particularly awestruck by Cordae’s bars.

After the Hi-Level mogul-in-the-making finishes with “Way 2 Sexy,” Ross throws on a new instrumental — this time slowing things down with Kendrick Lamar’s  “Fear” —  and Cordae continues to impress with a new. Suffice it to say, he’s clearly in the zone ahead of From A Bird’s Eye View, and it will be exciting to see how he continues to evolve when the project lands later this year. Or so we hope. Check out Cordae’s full freestyle with Adin Ross below, and sound off if you think he put in work.

Brittany Renner Discloses Her Opinion On DJ Vlad: “The Feds”

Fitness model and longtime social media influencer Brittany Renner has been focused on building her brand over the last few years, but to her frustration, her name continues to swarm celebrity dating rumors, repeatedly forcing her personal history under a microscope.

Back in 2014, Renner, in conversation with host DJ Vlad, discussed the effects that social media has had on her personal life, presumably referring to her then-five-year relationship and rumors that she was dating quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick

“There’s always a rumor!” Renner exclaimed in the original interview (watch the full clip below). “I take a picture with a guy, I follow a guy, I post a guy on my page, and there’s rumors. There’s rumors everywhere.”

She expanded on her thoughts when the discussion turned toward the subject of social media rumors and trolls as a whole. “I find [that] people who go out of their way to lie obviously don’t have a lot to lose, nor a lot going for themselves,” Renner said. “When you have your own brand, and you’re trying to actually accomplish your goals and dreams, I don’t find that you have time to mess up somebody’s life or wreak havoc in yours.”

A few days ago, DJ Vlad took to Twitter to gauge whether his audience would want to see Renner return to his show. “Who wants to see another VladTV @brittanyrennerr interview?” he tweeted out.

Renner was prompt in her response.

“You’re the feds sweetie,” she bluntly replied. Vlad might have thought it was humorous, but it doesn’t look like she’s willing to revisit that conversation anytime soon.

Steph Curry Comments On Andrew Wiggins Update

Just a couple of weeks ago, Andrew Wiggins was thrust into the spotlight as it was revealed that he was the one player on the Golden State Warriors who had yet to be vaccinated. He was hoping to receive a religious exemption for the vaccine, however, it became crystal clear that it wasn’t going to happen.

After a week of speculation regarding his availability, it was reported yesterday that Wiggins ended up getting the vaccine for COVID-19 and that he will, indeed, get to play this season. This is huge news for the Warriors, who need as much help as possible throughout the season. Not to mention, he is a good trade piece and without a vaccine, teams may not want to take him on.

Recently, Warriors superstar Steph Curry was asked about Wiggins getting the vaccine and how the team feels about it all. It’s a bit of a brazen question to ask, although Curry entertained it, noting that he is glad to have Wiggins on board.

“It’s nice that he’s going to be available. Whatever process he went through, he’ll be able to speak on,” Curry said.

So far, 95 percent of the league is vaccinated, which is a pretty substantial rate given what the rest of the United States has accomplished. Needless to say, the NBA is leading the way in vaccination efforts, which is the real story here.

Jack Harlow Shares His Newfound Wealth With Five Hometown Non-Profits

Louisville’s Jack Harlow announced plans to donate to several hometown charities in a recent interview with Billboard, calling it “important to keep some positive energy flowing through the city.” The 23-year-old rapper’s career has been booming since releasing his 2020 single “What’s Poppin,” and it appears that rather than keep all that good energy to himself, he’d rather share the wealth and give back to Derby City.

He’ll do so by contributing to five local organizations: AMPED, Center for Women and Families, Grace M. James Academy of Excellence, Louisville Urban League, and Metro United Way. As he explained to Billboard:

I spent all my life fantasizing about being someone that could put Louisville on a pedestal. There’s a spirit and pride that runs deep, and it becomes more obvious to me when I travel to other cities and realize that that doesn’t exist everywhere. The city has always been special to me and I think we breed very unique, often laid-back people. It’s important to me to keep some positive energy flowing through the city. Everyone is living different lives and may be from different areas, but there’s still always a universal energy that everyone is aware of, and it’s important to me that there’s plenty of love in the mix. Things are not easy right now, I feel so privileged to be in the position I’m in and I feel a responsibility to give back and help pave a way for others. People need hope, they need love.

George Floyd NYC Statue Vandal Caught On Surveillance Video

George Floyd’s death posthumously sparked a moment of racial reckoning across the world, after he was killed by a Minneapolis police officer last year.

In June, a George Floyd statue that has been on display for an exhibition by Confront Art as an act of solidarity against racial injustice — was smeared with black paint and marked with an alleged logo of a white supremacist group, five days after it was first unveiled in Flatbush Avenue, in Brooklyn.

The same statue, now located in another borough of New York, is receiving similar mistreatment. The Floyd statue, which is now located in New York City’s Union Square Park was vandalized again, this time just 48 hours after it was unveiled.

In the incident captured on video surveillance (watch below), the suspect is depicted as a white male, with a medium build, who wore a green jacket, neon t-shirt, and black skull-cap hat, while wielding a skateboard.

The perpetrator was captured wandering around the John Lewis statue before splattering grey paint on the face of the Floyd statue around 10 am, police said.

Moving forward, police and community volunteers are working together on a joint front to rectify the situation. The New York Police Department ‘Hate Crimes Task Force’ is launching a full investigation of the incident. Meanwhile, community volunteers have already begun scraping paint off the statue.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams expressed his frustration related to the act of vandalism in a tweet.

“The trauma of his tragic death should not be compounded by the trauma of seeing his memorial defaced,” he said.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Trolls Facebook & Instagram During Outage

Jack Dorsey, the creator, co-founder, and chairman of Twitter, is having lots of fun on his platform today — especially since it seems anybody and everybody is on Twitter right now, with Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger all experiencing outages.

If you’ve been having trouble scrolling Facebook or Instagram on Monday, you’re not alone. There are currently over a billion people having trouble accessing the platforms, and Jack Dorsey is trolling Mark Zuckerburg for this morning’s epic fail, welcoming everyone to Twitter and jokingly offering to buy Facebook.

“hello literally everyone,” tweeted the official @Twitter account, resonating with hundreds of thousands of people.

On Jack’s personal account, he’s been going viral after he reacted to Facebook’s domain reportedly being “up for sale” after being “nuked” on Monday, saying, “how much?” When the tweet started gaining traction, he trolled further, linking to Kanye West’s “Off The Grid” on SoundCloud and replying, “wow this blew up here’s a link to my SoundCloud.”

Trying to capitalize even more off the situation, Jack is attempting to convert WhatsApp users to Signal, which is a competing software.
