Yung Miami Of City Girls Stuns Fans With A Photo Of Herself Holding Hands With Diddy

Is Yung Miami from City Girls dating Puff Daddy? That certainly seems to be the implication of the photo the Florida-born-and-bred rapper just posted to Instagram. It’s definitely caught the attention of fans who were shocked to see Miami — who was previously romantically linked to Atlanta, Georgia trap producer Southside — holding hands at Pierre “P” Thomas’s birthday party with none other than Sean “Love” Combs himself. Miami is decked out in an elegant mahogany dress while Diddy rocks one of his signature white suits, clutching her hand as they descend a staircase (scroll through the slides below).

Naturally, many were flustered to spot the new apparent couple, especially after Diddy posted a throwback photo apparently reminiscing about his ex Jennifer Lopez just last week. “Caresha,” Yung Miami’s real name, trended on Twitter as City Girls fans — who are fond of addressing their fave by her government name — expressed surprise, shock, and amusement at the thought of a possible retaliatory post from Southside. Meanwhile, Caresha’s partner-in-rhyme JT (who’s been linked to fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert) seemed to approve of the union, commenting “expensive!” on the photo with a string of fire emojis.

Some fans also approved while others doubted that the photo meant anything deeper. Either way, it’s looking like a City Girl summer after all, as their new single “Twerkulator” climbs the charts, and fans remain fascinated by their romantic entanglements.

Diddy Shows Off His Private Jet: “Combs Air”

Diddy has made it past the struggle and now, he can enjoy everything that he has built for himself. The music mogul is one of the most powerful men in the business, pivoting into more of an executive role in recent years. As he continues to build new platforms to promote hip-hop culture, focusing mainly on his Revolt network, Brother Love has amassed millions upon millions of dollars in his bank account. Ahead of his arrival at the Black Tie Affair in Atlanta, Georgia last night, where he made headlines by holding hands with Yung Miami, Diddy took fans on a behind-the-scenes look at his luxurious life, showing off his private jet.

Giving a glimpse of the cars he pulled up to the private airport in, Diddy walked past the luxury whips to ascend the steps to his plane. The rapper made it a point to mention that he only uses Black pilots, supporting his community with every move he makes. At the foot of the stairs, a welcome mat saying “Combs Air” sits on the ground.

Once he was onboard, Diddy showed off the amazing fruit platters that were organized for him, as well as a candy bar if he had a sweet tooth that evening.

Diddy’s plane doesn’t look like it’s on Drake’s plane’s level but it’s still a much smoother ride than anything we can afford. Have a look below to see how the mogul flies.

SZA Wants To Perform “Love Galore” With Travis One Last Time

It appears that SZA has been taking a trip down memory lane as of late. Days after admitting that she burst out into tears while rehearsing “20 Something,” the TDE singer-songwriter has shared another nostalgic sentiment about the CTRL era of her career. In a recent tweet, the “Good Days” artist publicly reached out to Travis Scott in hopes that she could convince him to perform “Love Galore” with her once more.

Apparently, SZA and Travis haven’t been communicating much recently because the “Hit Different” artist reveals that she no longer has La Flame’s phone number.

“Can somebody ask Travis to perform love galore w me one last time for old times sake,” SZA says in the sentimental tweet. “Ion got his number lol .”

While most of her followers have responded to her tweet with a passive-aggressive demand for new music instead, several of her fans seem absolutely stoked at the possibility of seeing the two artists reunite on stage.

While we all wait to see what happens, check out the music video for SZA and Travis Scott‘s “Love Galore” below. Are you more interested in a crazy throwback performance from the two artists or a new album from SZA?

Polo G Unveils “Hall Of Fame” Tracklist With All-Star Features

Chicago rapper Polo G is releasing his third studio album Hall Of Fame next week. While he hasn’t historically included a ton of guest appearances on his last two albums, this time around, the 22-year-old budding superstar wanted to bring out the big dogs, collaborating with a dozen artists that could very well join him in the Hall-of-Fame when it’s all said and done.

Polo G is setting out to prove himself as one of the best rappers of all time with this next album. While that will be a tough task for him to complete, given the fact that this is only his third album, he’s starting off strong by unveiling the star-studded tracklist for Hall Of Fame.

Boosie Badazz Reacts To Future’s Line About Lori Harvey On “Maybach”

As DJ Vlad and Boosie Badazz’s latest interview continues to roll out little by little, the tenth and most recent segment finds Boosie and Vlad discussing how embarrassing it can be when people bring their private issues with family members and love interests to the public’s attention. At the beginning of the clip, Vlad talks about how the culture both loves and criticizes the Kardashian family. He then asks Boosie how he would feel if his family was constantly being recorded.

“I know if I had cameras over here, Lord Jesus,” Boosie says. “I would be ashamed.”

Vlad then brings up an instance when one of Boosie’s baby mothers shared a recording of one of their heated arguments, which prompted a good deal of laughter from the “Wipe Me Down” rapper. In an effort to keep the theme of blasting one’s exes alive, Vlad then brings up Lori Harvey, who is someone that Boosie has plenty of hot takes about

Upon Vlad asking him if he’s heard Future’s verse on 42 Dugg’s “Maybach,” Boosie can only get out a “Yeah” before immediately bursting out into laughter. After calming down a bit, the first thing he says is, “Man, Future. You know Future gon’ drop them lines. Future a dog.” For those who have not listened to 42 Dugg and Future’s latest collaboration, Future drops the following lines mid-verse: “Magic City, I’m the owner/Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her.”

Vlad then lets Boosie know that people online have been bashing Future for his remarks about his ex-girlfriend, and the Baton Rouge-born artist quickly comes to Future’s defense.

“They mad cause Future slid,” Boosie says. “And they mad cause Future made Lori Harvey one of the ones in the crayon box. That’s what I call it: a crayon box. You been in my crayon box, you just got took out and colored.”

Check out the full exchange below. The Lori Harvey talk begins near the 2:40-mark.

Lil Dicky Drops “Dave” Season 2 Trailer

Last year, Lil Dicky’s loosely autobiographical series Dave emerged as a genuine breakout hit, earning acclaim from critics and praise from fans. Ever since it wrapped up with a climactic Breakfast Club freestyle, attention immediately turned to the second season, which is officially due out for release on June 16th.

Featuring confirmed guest appearances from Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Yachty, J Balvin, CL, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Hailey Beiber, Kendall Jenner, and more, the upcoming season appears to center around Lil Dicky’s apparent inability to put together and release an anticipated album. Art imitating life, as they say.

The official trailer provides a clearer glimpse of what’s to come, revealing Dicky’s life as a newly single man torn between love and wanton hedonism, his team’s growing frustration with his aloof demeanor, a potential romantic tryst with none other than Doja Cat, and the emotional hangups that still appear to be plaguing the self-proclaimed Professional Rapper. There also happen to be glimpses of Kendall Jenner, Rae Sremmurd, and Kareem Abul Jabar, the latter of which appears to be hosting Dicky at his home for reasons unknown.

Overall, it looks like it should be another strong season of Dave, retaining the energy of the first season while raising the stakes and budget accordingly. Check out the official trailer below, and look for Dicky’s triumphant return to hit the screen on June 16th. Will you be tuning in?

Chris Brown Speaks: “I Don’t Just Write Love Songs… I Am Love Songs”

Who writes the best love songs? Some of the greatest love songs were written and performed by Boyz II Men, D’Angelo, Aaliyah, Sade, Lionel Richie, and others. Chris Brown has penned a vast number of heartfelt records in his decades-spanning career too, bringing him to make a pretty strong claim on Instagram this morning.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Chris Brown suggested that his photo should be next to the definition of “love songs” in any accurate dictionary.

“I don’t just write love songs… I am love songs,” boasted Breezy on Thursday morning. He didn’t offer any clarification of his thoughts, simply leaving that post up for all of his fans to debate in the comments.

Instagram

This comes just a day after the multi-talented singer/songwriter announced that he’s in no rush to release his next album. Last summer, Brown announced that his new album would be called Breezy. At the time, fans were hyped up about the prospect of receiving yet another body of work from the award-winning vocalist. However, he specified that he wants people to miss him before dropping.

“I ain’t dropping my album until I’m ready,” he wrote on Instagram. “I need to give y’all a chance to miss me.”

It’s been nearly two years since the release of his last studio album Indigo, which dropped in June 2019. Last year, Brown released his collaborative mixtape with Young Thug, called Slime & B.

Rowdy Rebel And A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s ‘9 Bridge’ Video Is Adventurous Ride

Rowdy Rebel and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie‘s “9 Bridge” saw the two New York natives form a strong cross-borough connection and that connection is deepened in their video for the song, which they shared today. Opening with a closeup of a sword in a stone in the middle of a Manhattan street, the video finds A Boogie claiming the sword before being beset by a sneaky attacker. Fortunately Rowdy is right there with a crossbow to get his rhyme partner’s back.

Elsewhere in the video the duo pilots a submarine, challenges the devil to a game of chess, and plays cliffhanger off the roof of a skyscraper in a cyberpunk cityscape.

While neither rapper has released much solo music this year, they’ve both been fairly prolific on the features front. Rowdy, fresh off a six-year prison stint, has been in high demand, appearing with Nav in the “Jesse Owens” video and CJ in the “Whoopty NYC Remix” video. Meanwhile, A Boogie popped up on a remix of TikTok star Mooski’s “Track Star” and put out a new single featuring Lil Durk, “24 Hours.”

J. Cole Is On The Move In His Cloudy ‘Punchin’ The Clock’ Video

Fresh off the release of his album The Off-Season, J. Cole actually is in the off-season as he has just finished up his contract playing pro basketball in Africa. Now pivoting focus back to his music, Cole drops a visual to his brief track “Punchin The Clock.”

Much like his previous “Applying Pressure” visual, “Punchin’ The Clock” was directed by Scott Lazer and pays homage to New York City. This time, it shows the very-NYC act of attempting to catch a yellow cab. Once Cole finally secures a ride, he fires off verses about getting back into the swing of things.

The song’s intro and outro is a audio clip of Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who reflects on the importance of putting in hard work in the off-season in order for it to pay off later, clearly a metaphor for Cole’s album as a whole. “In the summer, I think when you truly prepare yourself, and with training and conditioning, and things like that, when you cheat yourself, you fail in those moments,” Lillard says at the song’s close. “You know, you crash, and when you really put the time in and whether people see it, or whether people know it or not, you know, it always come to light.”

Saphir Delivers A Cathartic Performance Of ‘Jaded’ On ‘UPROXX Sessions’

It’s hard to pin down Saphir’s genre. The LA-based vocalist’s work can range from emotive pop to goth-rock-influenced rap-soul, with many, many variations in between. However, for her first UPROXX Sessions appearance, self-described “Jewish girl who never got out of her scene phase,” opts for “Jaded,” a song that reminds me of a more confident, swagger-filled Evanescence. It’d make cool background music for a dystopian cyberpunk thriller — and I mean that as a compliment.

Counting influences such as Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, and NeverShoutNever, Saphir’s sound certainly wears those inspirations on its sleeve. Like her late compatriot Lil Peep, Saphir’s songwriting is personal, reflective, and raw; she’s unafraid to expose her issues to public scrutiny, which some fans will undoubtedly find endearing and relatable, and while her genre-hopping style is unconventional, it may very well be the key to a thriving career.
