A few months ago, rapper Saweetie announced that she was giving away a Tesla Model S to one of her lucky fans. The contest was launched to support the Bay Area Princess’ new single “Best Friend” with Doja Cat. While the initiative was strong and certainly helped to boost streams on the song, it would appear as though nobody actually ended up winning the new car.

This weekend, a fan called out Saweetie and accused her of “using her fans for streams.” The former supporter says that she has stopped showing love to the rapper ever since realizing that she allegedly finessed her fans on the free Tesla.

Saweetie caught wind of the post and fought back against claims that her giveaway was a hoax the entire time, explaining what really happened.

“The fake news concerns me these days,” she said, clearly frustrated about how people have been going against her over this. “*update* the 1rst winner was underage & the replacement is unresponsive so we have to go through the process again.. a true supporter knows my character &knows I don’t play about my business. U were never a fan babygirl let’s talk about that.”

If you were hoping for a free car from Saweetie, you’ve still got a chance to win. Cross your fingers and hope for the best!

LeBron James was projected to make a deep run in the playoffs this season although in the end, it was simply not to be. Had he made it further in the playoffs, we probably would have seen LeBron wear a multitude of dope Nike LeBron 18 colorways. In fact, some of those colorways are poised to make it to the market, including the Nike LeBron 18 “GOAT” which recently had its official images revealed to the world.

As you can see in the images below, this shoe has a black upper and a white back heel with red writing all throughout. The writing here has the Spanish words “la cabra,” “campeona” and “mejor ganadar” which all mean goat, champion, and best winner. Needless to say, these were shoes meant for the deeper rounds in the playoffs, although LeBron and his teammates simply weren’t able to get there. Regardless, this is a solid colorway that will certainly appeal to those who appreciate the writing aesthetics that are found on the back of the shoe.

Iranian-Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra rose onto the mainstream scene when her hit jazzy R&B ballad “I Want You Around” from her 2019 album Ugh, Those Feels Again reached number one on the Billboard Adult R&B chart.

The single, accompanied by a dreamy music video featuring actor Michael B. Jordan, was widely praised by artists across genres such as and. The singer then remixed the song with rapper and singer 6LACK, giving the song even more exposure.

Subsequent singles such as “Whoa” continued to receive amazing responses, leading to her highly viewed NPR Tiny Desk Performance and a remix of the song featuring Pharell.

2020 was a wildly successful year for the 33-year-old, who all within the span of a few months was signed onto Roc Nation, won Best New Artist at the Soul Train Awards, and Best New R&B Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

After her sophomore album tour, Aalegra jumped on features with frequent collaborator rapper Vince Staples for his album V Tape, and on a track called “You Save Me” for Alicia Keys. The star also collaborated with the just-as-smooth R&B singer Giveon, and rapper Rejjie Snow.

The singer is back with more songs to sway to on summer nights with her new album, TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIESis set to release everywhere on July 9, 2021. The 15-track record includes two features from rapper Tyler the Creator and one feature from singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy.

Fans rejoiced at the announcement on social media, celebrating the release of new music after two years since her last album release.

Kenya Duke, who filed for divorce from comedian Gary Owen earlier this year, has gone on Instagram to let out her most recent frustrations concerning Owen; a month after paperwork surfaced detailing Duke’s spousal support demands.   

In her IG post, Kenya claims Owen hasn’t seen their children or paid a bill in months.  

Duke starts the post by mentioning how she has allowed Owen to spread a false narrative to “family, friends, and fans” about “the relationship and our kids.” She explains she doesn’t feel the need to defend herself because she and Owen are the only ones that know the truth, but what really got to her were the “dumb passive-aggressive posts in these insensitive ass t-shirts”– she was referring to the t-shirt in question that Owen was wearing in her screenshot-image, one that reads: “bread winner.”

Duke then goes in on Owen, and lays it all on the table, for all her followers to see (/read):

 “You haven’t supported us since April 1st. Nothing, nada, zero not electric, water, gas, not insurance (medical, dental, life, car, house, etc.), not groceries, not maintenance for the house, not the gas or maintenance of the cars, not the platinum card I got for us (because you wanted one) and you couldn’t get one (on your own), not the cell phone you had for 23 years; instead, you just got another phone number and didn’t pay the bill.”

As well as not been present for his children, “You haven’t seen your daughter in over 6 1/2 months, you haven’t seen your son in over 4 months. This is your choice. You do remember us right????”

She then goes on to say that she doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment after always being there for him “100%” especially since she’s been the one paying all the bills and being there for the kids. She continues,

“The new you is a Mofo. Do you even recognize right anymore? You’ve shown lack of care for me maintaining the financial stability and sole emotional support for our kids. I am the only person that has always protected you and you treat me like this, says more about your character than any of your antics. You are not a good guy, so cut it out and get a shirt that says DEADbEAT. I will let you get back to living your best life…lying, clout chasing, side chicks, and looking for a black celebrity friend group.”

Finally, she ends the post with “#DONTBELATEFORTHECOURTDATE.

Hopefully, the soon-to-be ex-married couple can come to a compromise soon.

Anthony Davis dealt with a plethora of injuries this season and it is ultimately what led to the collapse of the Los Angeles Lakers. Prior to the playoffs, Davis was dealing with an injury to his calf and during the playoffs, he ended up pulling his groin. These are two injuries that Davis will need time to recover from and with the Lakers offseason officially under way, Davis will have ample time to get himself right heading into next year.

While speaking to reporters, AD gave some insight into his injury and what his next steps are. Essentially Davis will have his groin reevaluated and from there, he will be able to make an informed decision on what he should do next.

“I’m gonna talk to my trainer, Ish (Ishop), and see what their plan is. He’ll probably call me tomorrow and we’ll figure that out, but no I don’t (the exact timeline). They said before, when it first happened, that a 10-14 day injury is usually what it is with a Grade 1, so after tonight where I re-aggravated it, I don’t know if it will be another 14 (days) or whatever, but I’ll talk to him tomorrow and try to see what the plan is,” Davis said.

Davis is an integral part of this Lakers team and they are going to need him healthy if they want any shot at going out and winning the title. Hopefully, he’s able to get right and get back to the version of AD we saw back in 2020.

Robert Kraft just turned 80 but he’s enjoying his special day with a luxurious new ride, courtesy of a few friends. The New England Patriots owner bought himself a new home recently so, Michael Rubin went to his home to surprise him with a brand new Bentley that he said was a gift from fellow REFORM Alliance members.

“That’s exactly what –” Kraft said, stunned by the gift as he gave Rubin a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. “This came from Meek and Jay and Will and Allen and Des,” Rubin responded. 

Rubin pulled up to Kraft’s home where he surprised him with the blue Bentley along with a massive birthday card that reads, “Happy 80th Birthday Robert Kraft.” The inside reads, “Except you look 40 and act 25.” Kraft was absolutely shocked at the gesture, especially since the vehicle is apparently quite rare. 

“How the fudge did you get it? ‘Cause we couldn’t get it,” Kraft asked Rubin who offered an incredibly vague response. “We got resources,” Rubin said. 

Meek shared the footage to his Instagram page where he confirmed that he put in on the Bentley. “Drop top bent for Kraft,” he wrote along with several diamond emojis. “awwwwww lol hbd robert,” he added.
