Moneybagg Yo Accompanies Belly In The Desert Heat In Their Assertive Video For ‘Zero Love’

Moneybagg Yo is having the best year of his career so far. The Memphis native’s fourth album, A Gangsta’s Pain, sat atop the Billboard album charts for a pair of non-consecutive weeks, marking the first time he had a project go No. 1. The rapper has been promoting the album with a bunch of music videos, including “Free Promo,” “Hard For The Next,” and “Time Today.” But now he joins Belly in a video for their collaboration, “Zero Love.”

The video sees the pair bring their talents to the middle of a desert to fire off their confident bars. It also presents a group of dancers performing dabke, a traditional middle eastern dance as Belly described in an Instagram post. “Zero Love” is set to appear on Belly’s upcoming album, See You Next Wednesday, which will arrive through XO Records and Roc Nation. The project, which will be Belly’s first full-length release since his 2018 album, Immigrant, has yet to receive an official release date.

As for Moneybagg, the new video arrives after he teamed up with Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant for “Rookie Of The Player,” a track that appeared in the NBA player’s documentary Promiseland.

Trina & Eve “Verzuz” Gets Date Along With Soulja Boy & Bow Wow

More Verzuz appearances have been confirmed and the powers that be are taking things overseas. We’ve been covering the historic Verzuz moments since Timbaland and Swizz Beatz first delivered the music match-ups during quarantine. What began as a way for artists to not only occupy their time but to walk fans down memory lane is now a full-fledged phenomenon that doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.

We’ve watched as artists like Gucci Mane and Jeezy ended their decades-long beef and millions enjoyed classics when Earth, Wind, and Fire paired up with the Isley Brothers. From producers to R&B icons, Verzuz has become one of the most coveted stages, and moments ago, they released their next set of appearances. 

Next Wednesday (June 16), the ladies of Hip Hop are uniting as Eve and Trina will share their hits with a global audience. The following week, the much-talked-about face-off with longtime friends Soulja Boy and Bow Wow will finally go down after weeks of playful taunting. A July 1 date seems to be in partnership with Essence, but the artists have been hidden. Additionally, Verzuz announced they’re going international and told fans to “stay tuned,” leaving the public to speculate where their next destinations may be.

Doja Cat’s ‘Planet Her’ Will Feature Appearances From Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Young Thug, And More

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re just a couple of weeks away from stepping into a new Doja Cat era. The multitalented artist spent the last two years promoting her sophomore album, Hot Pink, which spawned her first chart-topping single, “Say So,” and a number of other highlight tracks, such “Streets,” “Like That,” with Gucci Mane, and “Juicy.” But it’s time to close that chapter as she prepares to release her third album, Planet Her. After a few delays, Doja finally shared the tracklist and release date for the upcoming album.

Planet Her will arrive on June 25 bearing 14 songs, and it will feature guest appearances from Young Thug, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, JID, and SZA. The album is currently led by one single, “Kiss Me More” with SZA, but earlier today, Doja teased another. The song is titled “Need To Know” and in speaking about it on Twitter, Doja wrote, “Need to know isn’t even the next single is just some sh*t before the next more important single comes out for you to enjoy.”

Amanda Nunes Joke-Tweets An Offer To Fight Kim Kardashian After Dana White Prompt

Following the success and popularity of last weekend’s boxing exhibition between Floyd Mayweather and YouTube star Logan Paul, speculation has arisen about what the next big celebrity matchup will be. UFC champion Amanda Nunes cut straight to the chase on Monday, tagging fashion mogul Kim Kardashian on Twitter and sarcastically challenging her to a matchup in the octagon.

“Hey @KimKardashian let’s do this? Lol,” reads Nunes’ tweet, including a screenshot of the proposed matchup.

UFC president Dana White said in a recent interview that there’s always a market for fights that tout big names, regardless of whether the participants are equally skilled in fighting ability. He jokingly paired Kardashian and Nunes to emphasize the potential scope and reach of these celebrity matchups, and Nunes took to Twitter to acknowledge the possibility – though it in all likelihood seems slim to none. Nunes is an intensely skilled Brazillian jiu-jitsu martial artist, boasting a 21-4 professional record in the UFC. Kim’s fighting experience has been strictly verbal – and between her family members. 

A fight will probably never happen, but White’s comments do interestingly open up a world of possibilities for what potential celebrity matchups can happen in the future. Professional fighting events have recently begun to take on a more casual approach that favors the spectacle over the quality of fighting, evidenced by last November’s Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. exhibition bout in which both boxing icons are well into their 50s. And following last Sunday’s Mayweather vs. Paul card, brother Jake is set to take on UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley in August.

Doja Cat Shares “Planet Her” Tracklist Ft. Young Thug, J.I.D, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, SZA

After much anticipation, Doja Cat will release her third studio album at the end of the month. The singer has been promoting the futuristic aesthetic in her magazine features for months and after receiving her “Kiss Me More” collaboration with SZA, Doja’s fans are ready to hear what she has in store. 

The public has been awaiting the official announcement from Doja’s camp regarding the release of Planet Her, and just an hour ago, the Pop star shared the album’s release date, tracklist, and galactical cover art.

Doja previously told SZA in an interview for V Magazine that Planet Her is “giving divine feminine” while she spoke about artists that she collaborated with on the project—a list that includes Young Thug, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, J.I.D, and of course, SZA.

“It’s people that I respect and I’m extremely excited about having on the album and it’s a full-circle moment for me, basically,” said Doja Cat. “Just knowing that I have [SZA] on it is just sexy. It’s perfect. I feel confident. It doesn’t feel like something out of myself, you know? I feel like I’m doing what I want to do.”

J. Cole & Diddy Are All About “Love” As They Reunite

Solidifying that whatever “beef” they had in the past is over, Diddy and J. Cole take time to pose for a photo. Over the last week or so, Diddy has been living the good life—or at least, more of his life of luxury—as he’s shown off his travels. Sean “Love” Combs has been jet-setting and documenting small portions of his moments for his social media followers as he declares himself “king” of Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

While we’re sure there are a few other celebrities who may contest that self-crowned title, hours ago Diddy shared a photo showing that he’s somewhere posted up with J. Cole.

On Cole’s recently released “l e t . g o . m y . h a n d,” he rapped about the alleged 2013 scuffle that occurred at an MTV VMA afterparty. “My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it? / I bought that n*gga album in seventh grade and played it so much / You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff / Back then I ain’t know sh*t, now I know too much.”

There have been several theories regarding what went down, but the widely accepted version was that Diddy was saying something to or about Kendrick Lamar. While it’s been downplayed as being not as serious as the public has made it out to be, Diddy’s reported dust-up with Drake the following year only added fuel to the fire.

Biggie And Jam Master Jay’s Daughters Join Forces To Open ‘Juicy Pizza,’ A New York-Style Pizzeria

The children of well-respected hip-hop legends are opening up a pizzeria in honor of their late fathers. T’yanna Wallace and Tyra Myricks, daughters of, respetively, The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay Master Jay, will open Juicy Pizza in Los Angeles this weekend. The new shop will serve New York-style pizza for residents of the West Coast city starting on Saturday, June 12. The restaurant is of course named after Biggie’s 1994 hit song “Juicy.”

In an Instagram post she shared back in February, Myricks explained, “I realized that L.A. doesn’t have good NY-style pizza, so instead of going on an endless hunt for some, I decided to make some!” Once she decided a New York-style pizzeria was needed in Los Angeles, Myricks reached out to Wallace about the idea, as the two had been friends for quite some time. “The more I thought about how to bring that New York theme to Los Angeles, I felt, ‘Who represents New York more than Biggie Smalls?’” Myricks told Business Insider.

Juicy Pizza sports a menu that includes cheese and pepperoni pizza, oxtail, beef and broccoli, jerk chicken, and chopped cheese egg rolls. The Los Angeles wing of food publication Eater adds that the pizzeria honors New York City with “subway car details and bodega vibes.” It should be noted that when the restaurant opens on June 12 it will be “with dinner hours only.”
