LeBron James Celebrates His Son Bryce’s 14th Birthday With Prideful IG Post

LeBron James has always made it a point to praise his children whenever they do something new and/or noteworthy. LeBron understands more than anyone just how important it is to have a male role model in your life, and he has always made sure to be there for his kids, whenever they need him. The encouragement he constantly provides has allowed his kids to be extremely successful in their endeavors, and it’s clear they have no plans to slow down, anytime soon.

Today, LeBron’s middle child Bryce Maximus turned 14 years old, and to celebrate, LeBron took to Instagram where he wrote a nice little paragraph paying homage to his son. As you can clearly see, LeBron has a lot of pride when it comes to his kids.

“A star amongst them,” LeBron wrote. “Happy 14th Bday to my Young King Bryce Maximus!! Man o man time is flying and I’m proud to be along for the ride and journey you’ve been on kid!! Continue to strive for GREATNESS! The sky isn’t the limit, go beyond it! Love you kid!”

Bryce has proven to be a solid basketball player and as he approaches high school age, he could very well find himself playing alongside his older brother Bronny. Regardless of what Bryce chooses to do, he will always have LeBron to help guide him down that path of success.

Amazon Teases A Cinematic ‘Prime Day Show’ With Billie Eilish, Kid Cudi, And HER

A couple weeks ago, Amazon announced that they had recruited Billie Eilish, Kid Cudi, and HER for their “Prime Day Show,” a trio of exclusive performances set to drop on Prime Video on June 17. That’s just a few days away, and now, Amazon has shared a trailer for the program. Included in the video are snippets of each performance, all of which look more cinematic and narrative-based than most livestream or online-only concerts.

Amazon previously offered descriptions of each performance, saying of Eilish’s, “Billie brings a timeless, Parisian neighborhood to life with a series of cinematic performances. Set in the city known as the birthplace of cinema, it was directed by Billie Eilish and Sam Wrench, and features new music from Billie’s upcoming album, Happier Than Ever. This breathtaking musical tribute was inspired by Billie’s long-time admiration of a long gone era.”

They noted of Cudi’s show, “As he embarks on his biggest mission to date, Kid Cudi departs Earth to establish a new community on the moon in this intercosmic performance. Featuring music from his album Man On The Moon III, Cudi collaborates with the International Space Orchestra, the world’s first orchestra composed of space scientists from NASA Ames Research Center, the SETI Institute, and the International Space University as his backing band, in a musical collision defying sight, sound, and space.”

They also said of HER’s performance, “Once known as the hub of Los Angeles Black culture in the 1930’s and ’40s, the iconic Dunbar Hotel hosted some of the most prominent figures of its time, including musicians Duke Ellington, Lena Horne, Billie Holiday, and many more. In a modern day musical tribute to this legendary and important piece of history and culture, HER imagines what The Dunbar Hotel would be like if it existed in 2021 featuring new music from her album, Back Of My Mind.”

Justin Bieber And Lil Baby Headline Made In America’s Rap-Heavy 2021 Lineup

Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival is returning in September after taking a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting shutdown of live entertainment, and today, the festival’s organizers revealed the rap-heavy lineup, headlined by Justin Bieber and 2020 MVP, Lil Baby.

Further down the lineup are Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Bobby Shmurda, Baby Keem, Lil Durk, ASAP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, Morray, 42 Dugg, and EST Gee, as well as the ever-enticing “and more.” Of note is the fact that nearly all the names listed are in the midst of huge career years marked by either breakouts as in the case of 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Baby Keem, and Morray, or resurgences, which came about for the recently-released-from-prison Bobby Shmurda, Freddie Gibbs, and Tinashe.

Then, of course, there are the huge favorites, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, and Roddy Ricch, who all had dominating performances throughout the year — each of them had at least one single go No. 1.

Made In America is celebrating its 10th year, and returns to Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA Saturday, September 4, and Sunday, September 5, with a portion of proceeds going to ACLU of Pennsylvania and The REFORM Alliance. You can find more information here.

Tyler The Creator Teases His Pastel-Colored Post-‘Igor’ Era WIth A Preview Video

Last week, a mysterious billboard in Hollywood bearing the phone number to a cryptic audio message featuring Tyler The Creator and his mom led to speculation that he was rolling out the follow-up to his last, Grammy-winning album, Igor. Today, those rumors seem to be much more solid, as Tyler himself posted a new preview of… something… to his Twitter.

The post reads simply, “SIDE STREET,” and includes a short, hypersaturated video clip in which Tyler makes out with actress Helena Howard of Madeline’s Madeline before driving off in a hot pink sports car. Former Odd Future member and current Dave cast member Taco walks up and asks the actress, “Baby, who was that?” She dismisses his question before expressing excitement for some event, but the final part of her statement is overridden by a blast of sitcom-ish music and a title card reading “Call me if you get lost” — the same message from Tyler’s billboard.

It seems as though Tyler is gearing up for a big reveal, which might mean new music or another big project from the multihyphenate, who has his fingers in endeavors like fashion, television, and even ice cream. If he is releasing a new album, it’ll be just in time for the return of live music festivals, as he’s booked to appear at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Primavera Sound. Check out his teaser video above and stay tuned.

Tyler, The Creator’s Rollout Continues With New Teaser

It’s looking like Tyler, The Creator is indeed kicking off a rollout, as speculated after a new billboard surfaced with the title Call Me If You Get Lost. A phone number was also included on the billboard, leading to a pre-recorded conversation between Tyler and his mother. Suffice it to say, fans quickly concluded that a new Tyler album was on the way, and today the Grammy winner has come through to tease some new music yet to come.

Tyler took to Twitter to share a clip, one in which he spends several seconds locked in a passionate embrace with a dog-walking woman. He swiftly departs without a word, mere moments before the woman’s boyfriend — played by Odd Future alumni and Dave co-star Taco — steps into frame.

Though initially suspicious, Taco ultimately decides to look the other way and carry on with date-night as originally planned. As the clip ends, Call Me If You Get Lost once again appears, furthering the notion that we’re looking at an album title.

The fact that his caption reads “Side Street” may very well suggest that Tyler is gearing up to release a single, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Perhaps we’ll see “Side Street” as soon as this coming Friday, though that’s purely speculative. Either way, he’s already landed on an aesthetic for the project, unsurprising given Tyler’s flair for visuals Check out the teaser below, and sound off if you’re excited for a new Tyler, The Creator album.

Luka Doncic & Mavs Players Reportedly Fed Up With Rick Carlisle

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks were close to eliminating the Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs although they were simply not able to get it done when it mattered the most. Doncic was virtually by himself on the court while his teammates largely underperformed. To make matters worse, head coach Rick Carlisle was putting out some questionable rotations which led to some bad moments on the court. There were times where Doncic seemed frustrated with the decisions that were being made, and now, it’s leading to some speculation within the Mavs locker room.

According to The Athletic, Doncic seemed to be distant with his coach at times this season and the sentiment was shared amongst some of the other players on the team. For the time being, Carlisle is fully expected to be back next year, and team owner Mark Cuban is adamant about not making a change.

Via The Athletic:

“Doncic’s relationship with his head coach, Rick Carlisle, has been publicly scrutinized since joining his team. It’s expected Carlisle will return next season, multiple league sources say.

During the season, it was believed Carlisle’s future could be reconsidered following the season, partly due to a belief Doncic had tuned him out.

Sources say some players have been frustrated with Carlisle after they lost playing time despite doing exactly what they felt he had asked of them, and for stiff rotation patterns.”

With Doncic unhappy, this could spell some trouble for the Mavericks, as they will desperately want him to sign a supermax extension. Otherwise, they could very well lose out on the future best player in the NBA.

Denzel Curry Teases “Melt My Eyez See Your Future” Album

The game is always a better place when Denzel Curry has an album in the mix. Following the strong release streak of TA13OO, Zuu, and the Kenny Beats-produced Unlocked, Zel has taken a bit of time to ready up his next solo endeavor, having previously confirmed the title to be Melt My Eyez, See Your Future.

Other than that, however, little concrete is known about the project. In a previous Q&A session on Twitter, Denzel teased that “the sound of the album is different than All my other albums,” which is certainly open to interpretation given his versatility. “This album stems from my feelings strictly,” he added, adding that he connected with “Producers I’ve always wanted to work with and who I worked with from the first album.” Insofar as influences, he cites “a combination of what’s going on right now in the world and Akira Kurosawa films with Toshiro Mifune.”

Today, Denzel took a moment to give a slight update on the album, confirming that “Melt My Eyez See Your Future is coming…” Alas, that’s about all he gave on the matter, leaving fans to speculate on exactly when “soon” might be. Still, it’s promising that Denzel is once again bringing attention to his upcoming project, which could mean it’s dropping as soon as this summer.

We’ll have to wait for a little more before we can really begin speculating — keep an eye out for further updates from Denzel, and sound off if you’re excited to hear his new album. For more from Zeltron, check out his genre-bending collaboration “Bad Luck” with PlayThatBoiZay right here

Steph Curry Gives An Update On His Status For The Tokyo Olympics

With the Tokyo Olympics starting next month, numerous NBA players have to decide whether or not they want to go to Japan and represent their country. Those who go deep into the playoffs will most likely skip out on the Olympics although those who were sent home early have a good reason to want to play. One of those players is none other than Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, whose team was unable to make it to the playoffs this year.

Recently, Curry was interviewed by the San Francisco Chronicle where he was asked his opinion on the Olympics and whether or not he would want to go. After all, Curry would be one of the best players on the team and they could certainly use him at the point. While Curry’s inclusion on the team would be welcomed, it seems as though Curry has yet to make a concrete decision on what he wants to do.

“I’m literally 50-50,” Curry revealed. “I probably need to decide in the next two weeks.” With a condensed schedule this season, some players have been expressing their desire for an extended vacation which would allow them to heal in time for next Fall. Having said that, Curry could very well become one of the players to turn down the Olympic opportunity.

The roster will be announced within the next month, so keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from the basketball world.

Polo G’s Mom Partners With Geffen Records For House Of Legends Company

While Polo G is growing into his star potential, especially with Friday’s release of Hall Of Fame, the young Chicago rapper’s mom, Stacia Mac, deserves a large amount of credit. Mac has been the driving force behind the rapper as his manager. She launched ODA Management in 2018 as Polo’s career began to take off. Then, she expanded it into ODA Records.

Earlier today, Mac and Geffen Records announced their new partnership in launching House Of Legends, a new entertainment endeavor under her belt. Mac will find talent, distribute and promote their music in the new partnership with Geffen Music. The label’s first release is from rising Philly rapper Yung Liv. “Smoke” ft. Big 30 is out now.

“When I got into management with Polo G, I always knew I wanted to grow but also understood the importance of timing,” Mac said of the new partnership. “ODA Management grew into ODA Records and I’m so excited to now launch a new company in partnership with Geffen Records. I’ve long been committed to developing talent and this serves as another platform for me to do so with independent artists. Lee and his team are incredible partners who bring tremendous expertise and are equally committed to nurturing creators. I’m confident this partnership will be fruitful.”

Stacia Mac’s ODA already boasts a successful roster of artists including her sons, Polo G and TBaby, Asian Doll, and the Queen Of Dancehall, Spice.
