YSL RICO Public Defender Receives Pay Raise After Considering OnlyFans Career

The public defenders involved in the YSL RICO case may be working for millionaires like Young Thug, but that doesn’t mean they’re bringing in the big bucks themselves. At the beginning of the month, it was revealed that lawyers who signed on to the high-profile case were awarded a salary of just $15K for a case that’s anticipated to span at least a year. On top of the embarrassingly low income, attorneys are unable to work any other files at the time, rendering them essentially unable to bring in more income with their legal expertise.

At the time, legal representative Angela D’Williams spoke out about the situation in the media, revealing that she was considering selling adult content as a way to secure more money in this tough economy. “This case is slated to last for about a year, and if you were to do the math, it would be six dollars an hour,” she previously told WSB-TV. “I need something to survive off of. We were under the impression that GPDC was advocating for us, and once they put those walls up, I’m thinking I need to start an OnlyFans.”

Angela D’Williams Advocates for Higher Pay Amid YSL RICO Trial

According to the latest update, D’Williams won’t need to turn to OnlyFans after all. Thanks to the efforts of her and other lawyers working the YSL RICO trial, the GPDC has agreed to up their pay from a measly $15K salary to $55K, marking a substantial increase. While it’s certainly not the same amount Thugger was raking in in his prime, it’s enough to not have to begin a second career as a sex worker.

Things have only continued to grow messier in the Atlanta courtroom, with Young Thug taking two trips to the hospital in recent weeks. On top of that, we’ve also seen an attorney arrested, and another avoid jail time by purchasing chicken wings. Are you still keeping up with Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial?
