Wack 100 Clarifies He Never Accused Drake Of Sending Kendrick Lamar A Cease And Desist

Wack 100 says he never intended to accuse Drake of sending Kendrick Lamar a cease and desist over his Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. Speaking with DJ Akademiks about the viral clip appearing to show him doing as such, he explained that he was only reading a post off of social media and the moment was taken out of context.

“I read a f*cking clip,” Wack argued. “I wouldn’t know if Drake sent a cease and desist. Why? Because I don’t represent Kendrick in business or Drake in business so I wouldn’t know if a cease and desist happened. I wouldn’t know. All I did was read a f*cking clip.” The viral clip stems from a livestream Wack did recently on Clubhouse.

Wack isn’t the first person to theorize Drake may have sent a cease and desist letter over the situation. After the NFL first announced the news, Charlamagne Tha God said on The Breakfast Club: “If he does ‘Not Like Us’ at the Super Bowl, I want the opening cords and then just the hook. If you think that the NFL and Roc Nation and a bunch of other people didn’t get a whole bunch of legal letters yesterday from people with owls as their stamp. I promise you, you’re not calling me a pedophile at the Super Bowl. I guarantee you, the OVO people sent so many legal letters yesterday.”

EarthGang Announced Their Fifth Album ‘Perfect Fantasy’ And Its T-Pain-Featuring First Single

Two years after the release of their fourth studio album, Ghetto Gods, Earthgang has announced the release date for its follow-up. Perfect Fantasy will be out on October 29 via Dreamville and Interscope, and will be preceded by lead single, “Love You More” featuring T-Pain.

Although the Atlanta duo has put 24-plus months between full-length releases, they’ve remained busy over the past two years, dropping three EPs: EarthGang vs. The Algorithm: RIP Human Art , Robophobia, and Snakegang with EDM duo Snakehips. They also performed at Coachella in 2023, and were billed to open on Kid Cudi’s Insano Tour this summer, but the tour was canceled as a result of Kid Cudi’s broken foot from this year’s Coachella festival.

According to a press release, Perfect Fantasy will be “heavily inspired” by Japanese culture and continues the theme of the duo’s ongoing EarthGang VS. The Algorithm project. The group has been openly critical of the effects of AI on art and culture — especially music — as seen by the titles of their EPs, which are also part of the series. They previously addressed the impact that social media has had on parasocial engagement with celebrities in their 2023 single, “Die Today.”

Perfect Fantasy is due 10/29 via Dreamville/Interscope. You can find more info here.

Wack 100 Tells Yo Gotti To “Say Your Prayers” As He Believes Feds Are Coming For Him Next

The Young Dolph muder trial has been seeing some major progess since it began about seven days ago. On September 26, one of the three suspects, Justin Johnson, was found guilty of first-degree murder leading to a life sentence. The other two alleged killers, Cornelius Smith and the supposed mastermind Hernandez Govan, are still awaiting their fate. Prior to this though, we have also come to learn that there was a lot of money involved. Some of that was for the hit that was allegedly placed by Yo Gotti’s deceased brother, Big Jook.

Furthermore, Cornelius Smith recently claimed that someone from CMG allegedly paid his $50,000 worth in attorney fees. “I don’t know exactly who. I didn’t get it in my hand”, he said in court. All of this has been very interesting, as Gotti and Dolph were far from friends. Ever since the mention of the former’s brother being mentioned in this murder trial, there is that question floating out there whether or not Gotti would get tied into this.

Well, controversial manager Wack 100 is of the belief that it’s pretty much guaranteed that Gotti will have to appear in court. In fact, he’s so sure that 100 is warning the latter to “say your prayers”. He feels that the alleged payment for the attorney of Cornelius Smith was the final piece to the puzzle. Whether or not Gotti is actual brought in remains to be seen. But with Govan and Smith still needing to find out their sentences, there’s time for this to happen for sure.

What are your thoughts on Wack 100 firmly believing that Yo Gotti will be taken into custody for the Young Dolph trial? Do you think the CMG boss was actually involved in his murder? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Wack 100, Yo Gotti, and the Young Dolph murder trial. Jermaine Dupri Believes Modern R&B Singers Can’t Compete With The ’90s

Jermaine Dupri says that a lack of churchgoing is causing modern R&B singers to pale in comparison to those of the 1990s. He explained his argument during a recent livestream on Instagram, using several icons of the genre as examples.

“Young Black youth of today do not go to church and they don’t have that church band grooming,” he said, before bringing up Bryan-Michael Cox and Jodeci. He continued: “So when you listen to that soul, the soul that you think is soul is an added piece of information. If you gone’ make these records, it’s hard to beat Jodeci when you don’t have that element. Anthony Hamiliton comes from the church. You not gone’ get that sh*t that’s in his voice, you ain’t just getting that from being on the internet.”

Diddy Has Applied For Bond For A Third Time With A New Legal Team

Diddy has applied for bond for a third time, this time with a new legal team. According to TMZ, the music mogul filed his third bid for freedom before trial after adding two new attorneys to his defense. They are Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro. Ricco was awarded Attorney of the Year by the Metropolitan Black Bar Association in 2008, while Shapiro is an experienced case attorney who served as a law clerk for the US Court Of Appeals.

Diddy was previously denied bail twice; in the first instance, US Magistrate Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky denied his request over concerns about Diddy’s anger issues and alleged substance abuse, telling him, “Your lawyer asked us to trust you — [I don’t think] you can trust yourself… Your lawyer can’t control you.” His appeal was denied by Andrew L. Carter, due to Diddy’s potential for trying to exert influence over potential witnesses. Carter cited evidence from the prosecution that he’d already contacted witnesses during the investigation into his activities, despite promising a long list of restrictions on his travel and visitation rights.

The music mogul was charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution after a months-long investigation into decades of the supposed illegal activities.
