Lil Mama Says She’s Starting A “Heterosexual Rights Movement”

Lil Mama is doubling down on her recent transphobic comments, claiming that she’s starting a “heterosexual rights movement” to defend herself against “LBGTQ bullying”.

Heterosexual people have not historically been discriminated against or oppressed. Nor are they currently being attacked for living their truths. On the other hand, members of the LGBTQIA2+ community are regularly bullied, abused, assaulted, and even killed for how they identify. In recent years, abuse rates against transgender people have skyrocketed, especially among Black trans women. Lil Mama recently compared transgender children to cats and dogs, making an extremely transphobic remark that she continued to support throughout the week. On Thursday, the rapper decided to double down even further, announcing that she’s starting a “heterosexual rights movement” to protect herself against “LGBTQ bullying”.

“I’m about to start a heterosexual rights movement,” wrote the rapper on Instagram. “Anti-LGBTQ BULLYING. Y’all fight so hard to be respected and SOME of you, NOT ALL, get a kick out bullying people for having an option, how they dress, how their hair and or make up looks, how much money they have, etc. There are so many people afraid to give their honest opion because if they do, the LGBTQ+ will hear what they want to hear and take statements out of context.”

Lil Mama went on to argue that she doesn’t need to “prove [herself]” by reminding people that she has loved ones who identify within the LGBTQ+ community, despite the fact that she’s clearly been trying to prove a point all week unsuccessfully.

The rapper is earning all kinds of backlash for her latest comments, as well as her earlier statements. Perhaps she should consider simply issuing an apology to the people she offended and educating herself on LGBTQ+ people’s rights.

Foogiano Narrarates Life On The Run In New Song “Free Foo”

Over the past handful of years, Hip-Hop fans have witnessed rappers fleeing from the law and finding creative ways to capitalize on their time on the run. An artist most notoriously associated with doing the dash is 20-year-old rapper Tay-K, who’s viral hit “The Race” was used in court against him in order to slam the rising artist with a 55-year prison sentence. Recently, one of Gucci Mane’s most promising artists decided to do the race as well, as it was reported that Foogiano had burned off his ankle bracelet and fled from the law. Last week, news surfaced that Foogiano had been arrested after a few months on the run, and today, the rapper has dropped a song and music video combo similar to that of Tay-K’s.

“Free Foo” is a new track from Foogiano that finds the 1017 Records artist boasting about being “on the run again.” The music video offers a more comical take on the rapper’s recent legal troubles, as the visuals depict Foogiano checking his calendar to see if he’s free to go to jail, playing an impromptu game of tag with police officers in front of his house, and running past additional police on a track field.

The song and video combined make for an entertaining new offering from Foogiano, so hopefully his legal troubles will be taken care of so he can keep treating fans to new music.

Quotable Lyrics

Well, I guess I’m on the run again
I ain’t wanna do it, but I told them cr*ckers, “Gotta catch me if you can”
I just gave em fifty-thousand cash, now they tryna take me again
But I ain’t goin to the pen (Hell nah), b*tch I’m going for the win

EBG EJizzle Says Pooh Shiesty’s Brother Was A Snitch In New Diss Track

Pooh Shiesty previously waged war with his fellow Memphis native, rapper EBG EJizzle, claiming responsibility for his shooting and telling his followers that he became paralyzed from the attack. Quickly thereafter, EBG EJizzle took to social media to prove that he’s not actually paralyzed, moving his limbs fine

With the tragic death of Pooh Shiesty’s brother Tee Da P from brain cancer, the “Back In Blood” artist has been mourning with multiple posts on social media. Using the situation to rub salt in Pooh’s wounds, EBG EJizzle has officially released his new record, “Paralyzed”, which takes aim at Pooh and his brother, calling Tee Da P a snitch.

Two weeks removed from his hospitalization, EBG EJizzle isn’t slowing down at all, keeping Pooh Shiesty in his head for his new diss track. The rapper states in the song that his shooter could have shot him in the head, but opted to aim at his arm. He also taunts Pooh and says, “that snitching sh*t run in your blood, your brother testified”.

There isn’t much information available about Tee Da P allegedly testifying

Pooh Shiesty has not responded publicly to EBG EJizzle.

Pooh Sheisty And Gucci Mane Are Full Of Threats In Their Menacing ‘Ugly’ Video

Do not cross Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane. That’s the main message behind their song “Ugly,” which they dropped the video for today. The persistent minor keys and muted percussion highlight a menacing beat from Nile Waves and Doc Playboi, while the duo’s cold-eyed verses stack blocks of rhymes dedicated to conveying one intimidating theme: If you challenge these two Southern trap veterans, “Sh*t get ugly.”

The video is a straightforward affair, with the two rappers aiming guns and lasers at the camera alongside a bevvy of ski-masked models who are just as heavily armed despite being more scantily clad.

The song comes from Pooh’s recently released Shiesty Season mixtape, which introduced the Memphis MC to a wider audience after he signed to Gucci’s new 1017 label in 2020 and featured prominently on the label’s first compilation album Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer. Thanks to those big moves, and singles like “Guard Up” and “Back In Blood,” he’s become a breakout star to watch — and earned enough to be able to buy his mom a new house.

Tee Grizzley And Lil Durk Cop ‘White Lows Off Designer’ On Their Latest Collaboration

Tee Grizzley switches up his flow on his new song “White Lows Off Designer” — a likely side effect of collaborating with one of the most melodic rappers out, Lil Durk. The woozy-sounding single finds the two Midwestern MCs reflecting on the street code — “Loyalty no option / Please don’t start no drama” — with singsong flows that make the gritty subject matter sound almost beautiful.

Although he hasn’t announced any projects coming out this year, Tee Grizzley appears to be slowly rolling out a new collection of music for 2021. He most recently put out the video for “Late Night Calls,” his first solo single of the year after sharing a pair of singles featuring his little brother Baby Grizzley, “Twin Grizzlies” and “Gave That Back.”

Meanwhile, the resurgent Lil Durk has been a hot commodity for features ever since popping up on Drake’s single “Laugh Now Cry Later.” New Jersey newcomer Coi Leray tapped Durk to add a verse to her breakout single “No More Parties,” R&B revivalist Kehlani put him on her “Love You Too,” and Lil Baby is working on a joint mixtape with him.

Joyce Wrice’s “Overgrown” Features Freddie Gibbs, Westside Gunn & More

Joyce Wrice may be a relative newcomer to the game, but she’s already been making steady waves. Today comes the release of her brand new debut album Overgrown, a project that features guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Westside Gunn, Lucky Daye, Kaytranada, and more. Already being widely praised as a refreshing dose of new R&B, Wrice’s new project serves to spotlight her talent and versatility, drawing heavy influence from the enduring soul music of years gone by.

Musically, songs like the intimate “Think About You” and the percussive “You” highlight an ear for lush production, with heavy emphasis on intricate guitar work. Though the project is certainly R&B in essence, it’s clear that Wrice holds an appreciation for some of the game’s top-tier lyricists, having enlisted Westside Gunn and Freddie Gibbs on “Westside Gunn’s Interlude” and single “On One” respectively. For the most part, however, Overgrown is Wrice’s show, and she makes a lasting impression that will likely land her a spot on many-a-radar.

Should you be a) a far of R&B music, and b) looking for a new artist to check out, Joyce Wrice will check out both boxes in one fell swoop. Check out her debut Overgrown now, and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Re-Signs With The Steelers

JuJu Smith-Schuster has had a big decision to make over the last few weeks as he officially became a free agent for the first time in his young career. For the most part, many believed he would be leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers and there were even reports that he was telling his teammates goodbye. This had many fans wondering what he would do next, although today, he made the surprising decision to stay in Pittsburgh.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Smith-Schuster signed a one-year deal with the Steelers and even took less money to stay where he is now. Schefter notes that the Baltimore Ravens tried to sign him to a big deal but in the end, he opted to stay put.

The Ravens are a team in desperate need of help when it comes to wide receivers, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they were going after the likes of Smith-Schuster. However, JuJu will remain on a team that has committed to Ben Roethlisberger for this upcoming season. The Steelers may not be favored to win the division, but they do have a ton of weapons.

Keep it locked to HNHH as we will continue to bring you the latest NFL free agency news.
