Kyle Kuzma Gives His Take On Drake & Rick Ross’ “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”

Drake delivered for his fans on Friday as he gave them a teaser to his new album Certified Lover Boy. This effort was a 3-track EP called Scary Hours 2 and so far, fans are agreeing that the best track here is “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” which features the likes of Rick Ross. The two artists trade bars and deliver their signature chemistry, which has gotten many supporters excited for what’s supposed to come with Drake’s next full-length project.

NBA players were especially taken aback by the effort, including Kyle Kuzma who immediately took to Twitter to give his take on “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” In true NBA player fashion, Kuzma compared Drake and Ross to two legends of the basketball world. Of course, we are talking about Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

Jordan and Pippen are the most legendary duo in the history of the NBA, so it makes sense why Kuzma would want to jump to this conclusion. Of course, LeBron James had something to say about this, however, as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar noted that he believes Ross and Drake are more like Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.

It’s hard to disagree with either of these players and as CLB draws closer, we’re sure the comparisons will keep on coming.

Memo600 & Lil Uzi Vert Lock In On “Let It Blow”

It’s been a long time coming but Lil Durk is receiving the credit he deserves for all the years of work he’s put in. From his days with Coke Boyz to his departure from Def Jam to now, establishing himself as a household name and bring the OTF crew with him. Riding off of the success of The Voice, as well as its deluxe release, he quickly followed that project up with Only The Family Presents: Loyal Bros.

Stacked with 23 tracks in total mainly consisting of appearances from members and affiliates (like Tee Grizzley), Memo600 and Lil Uzi Vert connect on “Let It Blow.” Memo600 slides through with a villainous and vengeful flow true to Chicago’s drill sound for the hook before Uzi’s malleable flow dodges in and out of melodies on his verse. Memo closes out the track with imagery of violence and paranoia reflecting the environment of Chicago’s South Side.

Quotable Lyrics
Fuck n***a get to tweakin’ in this bitch, you can catch a hollow
Thot bitch eat the skeet, she a lil’ freak, told the bitch to swallow
Fucked it off on guns, now I’m tryna buy my block like Ralo
Big stepper in this bitch, I just pulled up like I just hit the lotto

Jackboy Arrested For Gun Possession: Report

Sniper Gang celebrated a massive victory when Kodak Black received a pardon, expediting his federal sentence and allowing him to return home to his family early. While a major win for the collective, it seems like Jackboy has just got himself into some trouble again. According to a report from TMZ, the rapper was pulled over and arrested while out in Georgia, which then led to him racking up a gun charge.

Officers from the Monroe County Police Department in Georgia say they pulled over the blue Lamborghini SUV the rapper was riding in a month ago when a cop noticed the vehicle was not staying in one lane. According to details from the report, cops smelled marijuana in the vehicle during the routine traffic spot, which prompted him to call for further backup to conduct a full search.

Cops say that during the search, they discovered 2 unregistered firearms in the passenger side of the glove compartment where Jackboy was sitting: a 9m and a Glock.

According to the report, Jackboy claimed he had no idea the guns were in the vehicle, while the backseat passenger claimed they were his. The problem for the Pompano Beach native is that once officers ran his record, they discovered he was a convicted felon, meaning it would have been illegal for him to be even within arms reach of a gun.

The “Like a Million” rapper was arrested and booked for possession of a firearm as a convicted felon. He was able to meet the bond set at $2,500 later on the same day.

Jackboy and his crew were able to escape on a small verbal warning for the amount of weed found on them, luckily not having to swallow it whole this time around.

42 Dugg Gives Taleban Dooda A Verse On Energetic Single “Trappin’ Ain’t Dead”

Taleban Dooda is an artist coming straight out of Tampa Bay, Florida and the rapper is someone who likes to represent his city. Of course, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently won the Super Bowl and after the championship game, he decided to shoot a music video with up-and-coming star 42 Dugg. The result was a brand new track called “Trappin’ Ain’t Dead” which provides some high-octane youthful energy.

The track begins with a menacing hook from Taleban Dooda who then delivers an equally energetic verse. From there, the track transitions over to 42 Dugg who provides his unique sound to the song. Overall, this is a song you would come to expect from the two and the final product is something that many young fans will enjoy.

You can stream the track, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Trappin’ ain’t dead, you lookin’ scamped out (You lookin’ scamped out)
Bitch, you ain’t ever seen a drum, bring them grams out (Bring them grams out)
My lil’ brother had that jam, we had to bang him out (We had to bang him out)
Wrecker was cleaner than a bitch, but he a felon now (He a felon now)

Drake & Lil Baby Make It Look Effortless “Wants & Needs”

Is it officially Drake season yet? I guess there’s rarely been a season that Drake hasn’t claimed as his own, even if it’s just through a string of features that dominate airwaves. On Friday, the rapper delivered the sequel to 2018’s Scary Hours, the EP that produced his hit record “God’s Plan” ahead of the release of Scorpion. Similarly, the three-song pack is a glimpse into what we can expect to see from Drake on his forthcoming effort, Certified Lover Boy.

A video for “What’s Next,” which leaked last weekend, arrived with Scary Hours 2 that also included a stand-out collaboration with Rick Ross on “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” But, the song that’s likely headed to every strip club DJ’s folder and will rattle through the spring is Drake and Lil Baby’s collaboration on “Wants And Needs.” The two rappers look at their hedonistic ways and success as rappers and entrepreneurs. Drake even makes a reference to his arch-nemesis Kanye West at one point in his verse, admitting, “I need me some Jesus.”

Baby’s continuing to climb the ranks of rap royalty with each release yet he still maintains a hunger in his belly when he steps to the mic. Whatever Baby ended up charging for his verse (if he did at all) was definitely worth every single dollar. “I’m droppin’ hit after hit, I’m just chillin’ /But I’ll send a hit while I chill with my children,” he raps on his verse.

What’s the verdict on “Wants And Needs”? Sound off in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics
I’m not a GOAT, but I fit the description
I like to pour, so I get the prescription
We walk around with them bands in our britches
This gun ain’t gon’ jam, when I blow, I ain’t missin’
I’m droppin’ hit after hit, I’m just chillin’
But I’ll send a hit while I chill with my children

Tyler, The Creator Had A Lot To Get Off His Chest On “Ain’t Got Time”

Tyler, The Creator turns 30 years old today which means there is no better time to celebrate his growth and the strides he has made over the last decade. From his early days in Odd Future to his artistic evolution that led to albums like Flower Boy and Igor, Tyler has blossomed into a completely different artist. The jumping-off point for this change was Flower Boy where Tyler got personal about his sexuality, while also delivering undeniable bangers that contained tighter songwriting than his earlier efforts.

One of the best examples of this is the track “Ain’t Got Time” which serves as one of the harder tracks on the Flower Boy project. Here, we see Tyler flexing his deals with Converse, while also claiming that he has been kissing white boys since 2004. The subject matter is a stark contrast to his early years and it showcases an artist who is ready to move on from his edgy material and deliver something that is a tad more relatable and mature.

Let us know what your favorite Flower Boy song was, in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Boy, I need a Kleenex
How I got this far? Boy, I can’t believe it
That I got this car, so I took scenic
Passenger a white boy, look like River Phoenix
