Icewear Vezzo Taps Lil Durk For “Up The Sco”

Detroit and Chicago collided on a new single from Icewear Vezzo. The Motown emcee has been carefully cooking up his forthcoming release Rich Off Prints and the meticulous rollout continued at the top of Thursday (April 8) morning with “Up The Sco,” a single that features the Windy City’s Lil Durk. The two artists trade verses about street life and their come-up over slow-burning Rocaine production that has Icewear Vezzo’s fans excited about his next album.

Vezzo also delivered a message to anyone who feels as if their haters are getting in the way of their business moves. “1 thing about it can’t no n*gga , no b*tch , no hater , no opp , no fan , no entity , OR NOBODY stop or come in between nothing or any blessings God got for you,” the rapper recently wrote on Instagram. His followers were quick to add that they agreed. stream Icewear Vezzo’s “Up The Sco” featuring Lil Durk and let us know what you think.

Benny The Butcher And Rick Hyde Carry ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ On Their Shoulders In The Reflective Video

Last month, Benny The Butcher dropped his The Plugs I Met 2 EP, which featured production exclusively from Harry Fraud. The nine-track effort presented features from 2 Chainz, Fat Joe, Rick Hyde, French Montana, Jim Jones, and the late Chinx. Aiming to keep it alive for a bit longer, Benny and Hyde join forces for a reflective video for “Survivor’s Remorse.” In the visual, the two rappers take viewers on a trip through their past lives and discuss the close calls they encountered, all of which would have resulted in unfortunate circumstances if things did not go in their favor.

The Plugs I Met 2 is the sequel to Benny’s highlight 2018 project, but the second installation in the series didn’t arrive without some controversy. After hearing Fat Joe’s verse on one of the project’s song, “Talkin’ Back,” a number of fans criticized the rapper for anti-Asian comments. On it, Fat Joe raps, “Track me in and out of court, Harvey Weinstein / Threw that white up in the pot, gave ’em pipe dreams / And watch it spread like the Wuhan virus / Do ’em dirty for the low like Wu-Tang ’Sirus (ODB).” He later responded to the backlash in a tweet, writing, “I’ll adress the Benny verse i did that verse a year ago when the news was calling it the wuhan virus before they called it COVID i support and love all my asian brothers and sisters never hate.”

You can watch the “Survivor’s Remorse” video above.

Logic Drops Off Surprise Track “Tired In Malibu”

If you have a minute to spare, Logic has the song for you. In a surprise move, the retired rapper resurfaced with a new single—sort of—that he dropped off over on YouTube titled “Tired in Malibu.” The track finds Logic spitting some straightforward rhymes for about a minute before he signs off. Fans didn’t think they would receive new tunes from Logic considering he announced that his 2020 release No Pressure would be his final album. Since that time, he’s popped up as a feature on Juicy J’s “1995” and continues to connect with his fellow artists, so Logic isn’t fading into the background completely as he works on his label, BobbyBoy Records.

The artwork for “Tired in Malibu” shows Logic lounging with his son and enjoying those daddy duties that a Rap career wouldn’t afford a famous father on the road. We expect to hear more from Logic, albeit not as frequently as we’re used to, but for now, kick back and stream his minute-long release, “Tired in Malibu.”

Shaq Pays Off Engagement Ring For Man He Met At Jewelry Store

His good deeds are well-documented as Shaq is known for popping up at random locations and making extravagant purchases for strangers and fans. Last year, soon after Kobe Bryant’s death, someone saw Shaq shopping at Best Buy and offered condolences not only for the loss of the Los Angeles Lakers star but he included the death of Shaq’s sister. After offering kind words, Shaq decided he wanted to pay for the man’s laptop to say thank you. The good deeds have continued because while the NBA legend was shopping at a Zales jewelry store in Georgia, he ran into a young man looking for an engagement ring and covered the cost.

As Shaq tells it, he was out looking for earrings when he came across the man who was looking to set up a payment plan. “I seen the guy come in, he was just so shy,” said Shaq. “He was saying, ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring.’ And I was like, ‘My man, how much is the ring?’ I’m not going to say the amount, but it’s not a lot for me.”

“I was like, ‘You know what? Tell your girlfriend I got her,'” Shaq said. “‘I’ll take care of it.'” He added, “At first, he didn’t want to take it. He was like, ‘Man, I can’t do that.’ I said, ‘Don’t worry about it. I do it all the time.’ I’m just trying to make people smile, that’s all.” Check out the moment below.

Bhad Bhabie Is Livid Dr. Phil Claims He Had No Idea About Turn-About Ranch Policies

He may not have directly addressed Bhad Bhabie, real name Danielle Bregoli, regarding the Turn-About Ranch, but Dr. Phil has come forward to touch on concerns. Recently, Bhad Bhabie and others who were admitted to the rehabilitation center have complained of inhumane conditions including abuse, starvation, and lack of communication with their parents and guardians. There are allegations that someone was murdered there, and recently, Dr. Phil joined Ashleigh Banfield on the Banfield show to discuss the scandal surrounding the facility that he sends his out-of-control teens to once the cameras stop rolling.

We don’t have anything to do with what happens to guests once they leave the stage,” said Dr. Phil. “That’s between the guardian and parent. I assume if she had a problem she would file a complaint with the proper authorities or something five years ago, so I really don’t know much about it. I’m not talking about this story, it was five years ago I don’t remember too much about it.”

Once Bregoli caught wind of the television host’s remarks, she was upset. “Are you nuts? Are you f*cking nuts?” she said in response. “I’m really trying to keep my composure but these two are really not making it easy… My mother signed a consent of release of information to send progress reports directly from Turn-About to the Dr. Phil show. So when you say you don’t have any f*cking feedback from them, that is not true!”

She added that she’s received several emails and DMs from others who wanted to share their stories about the Ranch. “It just shows me that I’m not the only one who went through these kinds of things.” You can watch her video below.

City Girls Drama: JT Argues With Yung Miami’s Baby Daddy’s Sister Over Uzi

Things have been a tad awkward for City Girls fans in recent weeks and things only seem to be intensifying. A viral Instagram Live moment between Lil Uzi Vert and Yung Miami caught the attention of Southside after the producer was under the impression that Uzi was disrespecting his lady. Threats were issued but JT, Uzi’s girlfriend, came forward to say that Yung Miami and Uzi were just joking around. Still, fans vocalized concerns about JT and Yung Miami’s friendship but all looked to be well between the ladies.

On Wednesday (April 7), the reported sister of Jai Wiggins, the father of Yung Miami’s eldest child, is said to have posted a screenshot that showed Uzi sliding in her DMs. “Never play on my sister top I love her just like Jai did,” Juicy Delise wrote on her Instagram Story. Later, JT took to her Instagram and penned, “How do it feel to really have so much hate in your heart you make up lies? **** not adding up photo shopping horrible forgot the avi….leave him alone BEFORE me he was a random **** in y’all world …now I’m starting to see who the weirdos.”

In another post, Juicy Delise wrote, “I raised you.. I’m done!!!!!” before directly addressing JT. “Jatavia Jatavia… **** you! I left you on read all day and didn’t answer your call. Nextttttt.” City Girls fans have taken to social media with concerns that all of this recent arguing will cause some sort of breakdown, but JT and Yung Miami haven’t been in conflict. We all have witnessed Rap beef but…TV beef? A post made by Snowfall actor De’Aundre Bonds has caught the attention of 50 Cent and now, it’s become a viral moment. Bonds is a veteran actor known for his roles in The Wood, Tales From the Hood, and Get on the Bus, and most recently, he’s been appearing in John Singleton’s hit crime drama, Snowfall. On his Instagram page, Bonds gave a nod to Suge Knight’s 1995 The Source Hip Hop Awards moment by giving a shout-out to his show.

“If you don’t want the executive producers all in the movie scenes, all on the TV screen tryin’ to steal the shine from the actors, come to Snowfall! Yeah! C’mon! Y’all already know,” said Bonds in his clip. While the actor didn’t specifically say any names or call anyone out, it seems that Power felt some type of way and 50 Cent answered by reposting the video with a few thoughts in the caption.

“Every now and then i get a hater. [eyeball emoji] note to self, never give this n!66a a job. [three laughing emojis] F*ck outta here [stoplight emoji] Green Light Gang.” In the comments, Fif added, “Times must really be hard, old boy look like he on the sh*t for real.” Actor Michael Rainey Jr. chimed in, “We all know why he love snowfall so much.”

Bonds seems to have ignored the verbal jabs. Check out the posts below.
