Rico Nasty Announces Shes Selling A Clip Of Her ‘OHFR?’ Video As An NFT

In the last few weeks, everyone from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to toilet paper brand Charmin have been talking about NFTs. NFTs, which stand for Non-fungible tokens, are a way for creators to make a profit off their digital content using blockchain technology. Several musicians have already gotten a jump start on the trend, and Rico Nasty is now the latest.

On Friday, Rico Nasty announced that she’ll be teaming up with her “OHFR?” video creator Don Allen III to sell artwork from the video as an NFT. Not only will the owner of the NFT get to boast ownership of the clip, but they’ll also receive the authenticated physical hammer seen in the video, signed by the rapper herself.

Rico Nasty isn’t the first musician to join the NFT marketplace. Grimes was one of the first to sell her artwork as an NFT, raking in $6 million in just one day. Diplo, Halsey, and Post Malone have also recently sold NFTs.

The NFT will be made available for bidding on SuperRare starting March 22 at 9 am EST, followed up by a conversation with Rico Nasty on Clubhouse. Join the discussion here and watch Rico Nasty’s “OHFR?” video above.

Dana White Reveals Khabib Is 100 Percent Retired

After defeating Justin Gaethje in an impressive match just a few months ago, Khabib Nurmagomedov decided to announce his retirement from the UFC as he no longer wanted to fight without his father by his side. This news came as a disappointment to fans everywhere although no one knew for sure whether or not this would be a permanent retirement. Typically, fighters say they are retired but will eventually come back because they love the thrill too much.

Dana White finally got to sit down with Khabib recently, where he talked to the fighter about whether or not he was done for good. In the end, White came away from the meeting with some concrete information, as he took to Instagram and confirmed that Khabib is, indeed, done.

“29-0 it is. He is officially retired,” White wrote. “It was incredible to watch you work @khabib_nurmagomedov thank you for EVERYTHING and enjoy whatever is next my friend.”

Khabib finished his career with an undefeated record which is huge. Not many fighters can say they have done that and Khabib’s wins were against some of the most impressive combatants of all-time. Hopefully, Khabib enjoys a happy retirement, as he certainly deserves it.

Justin Bieber Receives Criticism For Using MLK Speeches On “Justice”

It was a massive release night at the top of Friday (March 19) morning and one of the most anticipated records of the day came from Justin Bieber. The singer returned with Justice, a follow-up to last year’s Changes, and fans quickly learned that Bieber and Co. decided to included speeches by Civil Rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the project. Bieber has often been accused of leaning on Black culture for profit, but he has repeatedly stated that he wouldn’t be who he is without the help of Black people and Black music.

Bieber’s name began to trend with the King controversy, but the day before Justice‘s release, Dr. King’s daughter, activist Bernice King, thanked the singer for his support. Bieber tweeted, “In honor of #Justice I’m supporting organizations that embody what justice looks like in action.” Bernice King retweeted the message and added, “Each of us, including artists and entertainers, can do something. Thank you, @justinbieber, for your support, in honor of #Justice, of @TheKingCenter’s work and of our #BeLove campaign, which is a part of our global movement for justice. #MLK #EndRacism.”

According to Rolling Stone, Bieber reportedly spoke about his decision to include Dr. King’s speeches on Justice. “What I wanted to do with this was amplify [Dr.] Martin Luther King Jr’s voice to this generation. Being Canadian, it wasn’t so much a part of my culture,” said the singer. He also discussed his “MLK Interlude.”

“This speech was actually during the time when [he had] a feeling that he was going to die for the cause, and what he was standing up against was ultimately racism and division,” Bieber added. “I think his message was that a lot of people can be afraid to stand up for what is right, but if you’re not standing up for justice — for what is right — what are you doing with your life? I’m sorry to get so deep, but these are the times we’re living in. That’s why I wanted to make this album because I think it’s very timely and very necessary.”

Willow Smith Gets Restraining Order Against Sex Offender Stalker: Report

We live in crazy times where we all need to be extra vigilant of our security and surroundings, and Willow Smith is learning why it’s important. She was born into the life of a celebrity with parents like Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, and she’s, unfortunately, experiencing one of the downsides of fame. The 20-year-old singer reportedly filed for a restraining order against a 38-year-old man who she claims has been stalking her for some time.

According to TMZ, court documents filed by Willow state that Walter James Whaley traveled from Oklahoma to Los Angeles to see her. He’s reportedly been messaging Smith on social media, telling her that he wants her to be his wife and the mother of his children. Not only has Whaley been harassing Willow online, but he also reportedly attempted to break into her home during the Christmas season.

The outlet states that Whaley climbed over a fence as he tried to get on Willow’s property and he was captured on surveillance footage lurking around as he seemed to be looking for an entrance into her home. Police were called and responded to the scene, but for an unknown reason, Whaley wasn’t arrested. However, a bus ticket indicated that Whaley, who is a registered sex offender, arrived in L.A. less than 24 hours prior.

Willow Smith has reportedly been granted a temporary restraining order and “Whaley must stay 100 yards away from her at all times and stop communicating with her.”

Quavo Responds To Saweetie’s Claim That He Cheated: ‘You Are Not The Woman I Thought You Were’

Up until Friday, Saweetie and Quavo were one of the music industry’s favorite couples. Back in October, Quavo revealed that he had first slid into her DM’s with a simple snowflake emoji, which prompted weeks of memes and fans gushing over their relationship. But it looks as though things have now come to an end. Saweetie announced that the couple had broken up Friday, and Quavo has now made his first statement about the split.

Saweetie took to Twitter to make the announcement, hinting that the main reason for their breakup was because Quavo had been unfaithful to her during their three-year relationship. “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,” she wrote. “Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

Quavo has now broken his silence and is denying Saweetie’s allegations that he cheated. “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time,” he wrote in a tweet. “I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.”

The rapper continued, taking aim at Saweetie’s character: “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were,” he wrote. “I wish you nothing but the best.”

According to Saweetie, though, she’s remaining unbothered. After announcing their breakup, the rapper said she had “emotionally checked out a long time ago” and is now ready for her “new chapter of elevation.”

Yung Bleu Says Trippie Redd Acted “Like A Little Girl” Over His Drake Feature

Nabbing himself a Drake feature has changed the way Yung Bleu approaches collaborating with his fellow artists. The rising Alabama rapper was able to, through chance and good timing, manifest himself a Drizzy verse on their recently released single, “You’re Mines Still,” and it all happened so quickly that Bleu admitted it’s changed his outlook. “If I send something to somebody [and] they take a long time to send it back, I just be like, you don’t wanna do it,” Yung Bleu told VladTV. “‘Cause Drake sent me my verse in twenty-four hours.”

Elsewhere, Bleu was asked about Trippie Redd’s reaction to him working with the OVO mogul. “I saw the little smart comments he made, he be making,” said Bleu. Trippie reportedly suggested that he’s talented enough to not need any features. “I done had platinum records, gold records, multiple, without Drake,” said Bleu. “I can say the same thing.”

According to Vlad, it all boiled down to Drake not making an appearance on Trippie’s record because of some unknown reason but surfacing on Yung Bleu’s track. Bleu added that he didn’t reach out to Drake in the first place and it was the Toronto icon who told Bleu to post a screenshot of their DMs to “hype” the collaboration.

“He started acting like a little girl after that,” Bleu said of Trippie. “Whatever.” Check out the clip below.

Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” Coming Soon: New Details

Fans of the Air Jordan 4 have been blessed quite a bit over the last few years. Of course, it is one of the greatest Jordan silhouettes of all-time and just a couple of years ago, it had its 30th anniversary. With this special birthday came a whole slew of dope Jordan 4 colorways and since that time, Jumpman hasn’t slowed down. Teasers for new Jumpman models have been plentiful in 2021, and one of them continues to leave sneakerheads in excitement for what is to come this Fall.

The shoe in question is the Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder.” In the post below via @zsneakerheadz, you can see that this sneaker has the exact same color-blocking as the infamous “Thunder” offering, except this time around, the yellow is being swapped with red. This creates a “Bred” aesthetic that any Chicago Bulls fan can get behind and we’re sure it will translate to a ton of hype once the release date finally comes.

The release date for these has reportedly been set for October 2nd and full family sizing is expected to be available. Many of these details, including the look of the shoe, is subject to change, so keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest details.

Paul George Hit With Big Fine After Calling Refs Liars

Paul George is one of those players who tend to get heavily scrutinized by fans, especially in the playoffs. On other occasions, however, the fans stand on George’s side, especially when there is a situation with the referees. Officiating is notoriously bad in the NBA, especially this season, and recently, George was fed up with the way he and his teammates were being treated. In fact, George went so far as to say that the referees were liars and were giving him bogus information when it comes to playing aggressively.

Well, as many of you know, critiquing the officials is a big no-no in the NBA, and George got hit with a hefty fine for it. The NBA announced today that George would have to pay $35K for his words.

“I mean, our job is to be aggressive, attack,” George said. “We can’t do much more than that, right? If they not gonna call it, they not gonna call it, and that’s the sucky part about it because we’re not flopping players. We’re not players that’s like throwing our bodies into other players. Like, we play physical, no different than any other player in this league. There’s nothing more that we can do, we’re attacking, we’re putting pressure at the rim, again, there’s nothing that I feel — unless we just start diving and playing a flopping game — there’s really nothing much that we can do.”

While $35K is a very minimal amount considering George’s salary, it is still an example of how awful the NBA’s policies are when it comes to this sort of thing. Criticizing the officials should not be a punishable act, but for now, this is the way things will continue to be.
