The Harris household is having a busy season. T.I. is continuing his activism efforts, Tiny is preparing for her Xscape Verzuz match-up with SWV this weekend, and they’re both dealing with those sexual assault allegations. There are reportedly over a dozen women who have alleged that the couple has harassed, assaulted, or drugged them—all accusations that both T.I. and Tiny have repeatedly denied.
During the fallout, it has surfaced that Tiny’s longstanding friendship with Shekinah Jo Anderson has come to a screeching halt. They’ve appeared on shows and podcasts together and even hosted a few gigs alongside the other, but they’ve been ensnared in a public meltdown that has gotten downright ugly on social media.
On Wednesday (May 5), Shekinah returned with new allegations. “I just found out someone is paying for & asking that the blogs talk bad on me,” she wrote. “Check this out. I can triple what they are paying you!! Inbox me blogs!! Yall better go find someone to play with!! I am not her!!” She added, “Dizzy dummies!!!! P.S.A. leave me the F*CK alone!!! I mean now!!!!!!”
Following Shekinah’s post, Tiny indirectly responded on her Instagram Story. “Pls live your life & stop harassing me!” she wrote over a brief video of herself at rehearsal. “I’m trying to prepare for Verzuz babe damn! [eye roll emoji][faceplam emoji].” Check it all out below.

While Back Home, his most recent full-length album, was a big deal for Trey Songz last year, the rest of his 2020 was filled with controversies. Unfortunately the same goes this year. According to TMZ, the singer was sued by a bartender he allegedly punched during a Hollywood concert. The incident occurred at the Hollywood Palladium back on May 9, 2019, during a show for another artist — reportedly Cardi B — that he was in the audience for. In the lawsuit, the bartender is seeking unspecified damages, citing physical and psychological injury.
The bartender’s lawyer says that during the concert Trey jumped on the bar in order to sit on it. Trey was then asked to get off the bar, but he allegedly ignored the request. Then the bartender reached out to him in order to once again get his attention, but Trey turned around and punched him in the head, looked at the other bartenders at the bar, and went back to watching the concert.
Last week, it was reported that Trey would not face charges for fighting a police officer at an NFL game earlier this year. In that incident, he punched the officer in the head and placed him in a headlock during the AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

He’s used to doing his preaching from a pulpit but former Bad Boy rapper Mase is taking his teachings to Instagram. It’s been a while since gave us new music after turning his life over to religion, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still have the street cred from his younger days. Gang and street life permeates the Rap industry and urban communities overall, and Mase surfaced with a message to Black men.
“I know what I’m about to say is unpopular but it still needs to be said,” Mase began. “The weakest thing a black man can do today is join a street gang.”
Gang influences across the globe have been closely studied and dissected, and it’s clear that they offer a sense of unity that some gang members don’t have at home. However, Mase argues that those people that you believe will be by your side, in the long run, will, in the end, only be concerned with their own well-being.
“The person who you’re riding for today ends up getting a bag to kill you or sending you to jail,” said Mase. “Think about it what type of person would ask you to hurt your own people and take an oath to be there for your gang only to end up not being there for your children and family. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT. Maybe that’s why I NEVER THOUGHT PEOPLE IN GANGS WERE TOUGH! If you’re thinking about becoming one don’t! I RESPECT A MAN THAT CAN STAND ON HIS OWN.”
