Lakers Reportedly Interested In Kyle Kuzma-Buddy Hield Trade

Kyle Kuzma had a disappointing season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021 as he seemingly had a regression when it comes to his effectiveness. Prior to the Anthony Davis trade, Kuzma was one of the best offensive options on the roster although now, he seems to be struggling with his new role. In the playoffs, Kuzma lacked confidence and it was becoming clear that his future with the team would be uncertain in the summer.

Since that time, Kuzma’s name has been floating around in various rumors as the Lakers look to improve their roster heading into next season. Other Lakers players like Dennis Schroder are also expected to move on from the team, however, nothing concrete has been decided, at least not yet.

Today, it was reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings have engaged in trade talks centered around Buddy Hield. Hield is on a massive contract for the Kings and he is another player who has been a part of numerous rumors. In Charania’s report, it was noted that Kuzma is one of the players the Lakers would trade as part of a package, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.

There is still a lot that can happen between now and the free agency period, so don’t expect this trade to become a done deal anytime soon. Hield has also been a part of Ben Simmons rumors, so we could potentially see the 76ers join the mix in the not-so-distant future.

Grimes Says Her Song ‘100% Tragedy’ Is About ‘Having To Defeat Azealia Banks When She Tried To Destroy My Life’

On Friday, Grimes brought her talents to Splendour XR, a music festival hailed as one of the most technologically advanced virtual showcases. She joined The Killers, Khalid, Charli XCX, Denzel Curry, and more. Grimes herself used her set to debut a new musical project called Grimes Metaverse, according to Billboard. She played her tentatively titled track “100% Tragedy,” which is currently still unreleased. In a chat with the Splendour XR music festival, the singer shared new details about the upcoming song.

In the chat, Grimes wrote that the song “is about having to defeat Azealia Banks when she tried to destroy my life.” This is in reference to a 2018 incident where Banks claimed she was at “Elon Musk’s house alone for days waiting for Grimes,” which fueled a lawsuit involving Tesla. A subpoena for Banks was proposed in order to have her testify against him involving claims of Musk fraudulently misleading investors.

Banks caught wind of Grimes’ comments shortly afterwards and responded on her Instagram page. “So you go make a bootleg @inna song about it. Yikes,” she wrote. “Grimes def has some psychosexual obsession with me. i think it’s bitterness cuz she doesn’t have the musical capacity i have. everything she does is out of pretentiousness and it comes out like that … while everything i do is out of natural swag & geniusness lmaoo.” She added, “Starting to notice all the weird undercover millennial racists hide out on discord.”

Yung Bleu, Childish Gambino & Tinashe Hold Down This Week’s “R&B Season” Playlist

It’s been a long time coming and finally, we received Yung Bleu’s official debut album, Moon Boy. The album has received praise from many of Bleu’s industry peers and his loyal following who have been keeping the album on rotation. Moon Boy has plenty of collaborations, from Drake and Chris Brown to John Legend, but it’s “Tired Of You” ft. H.E.R. that many agree is one of the best cuts off of the album. It was only right that we included it on this week’s R&B Season playlist.

Childish Gambino might be hard at work on the next season of Atlanta but we were blessed with some brand new music from him this week. The rapper made a surprise appearance on Brittany Howard’s Jaime (Reimagined) project with his rendition of “Stay High.”

Along with Childish and Yung Bleu, we have some new heat from Tinashe who is preparing to drop a new album 333 which is set to drop next month. On Friday, she blessed fans with her latest single, “I Can See The Future.” Hopefully, she has a few more cuts on the way before the Aug. 6th release date.

Other records highlighted on this week’s playlist include the latest from Chiiild, Alinda Baraz, and Kiana Ledé’s new collab with Kehlani on “Ur Best Friend.”

Deshaun Watson Will Report To Texans Camp As A Way To Duck Fines

Deshaun Watson is currently in the midst of multiple sexual assault lawsuits stemming from allegations that popped up this past March. The women who are accusing Watson of sexual misconduct are all massage therapists who allege that Watson was inappropriate during their sessions. They even said that Watson continuously tried to book them although many of the masseuses were too creeped out to ever book with him again.

Watson has denied all of these allegations, however, the investigations are still ongoing, and it could be a while before the lawsuits are handled. In the meantime, Watson is looking to be traded out of Houston and he would rather it happens sooner as opposed to later.

Today, every single player on the Houston Texans must report to training camp, and according to ESPN, Watson has decided to participate. The reasoning behind this is the fact that players who don’t report to camp can be fined $50,000 per day until they finally decide to show up. These fines are no longer avoidable, and if Watson were to hold out for the entire camp, he would have to pay a massive amount back to the Texans franchise. Needless to say, it makes more sense for him to report to training camp, and avoid any issues whatsoever.

His playing status for this season still remains up in the air, and it will all depend on the league’s discretion as to whether or not he’s allowed to start. Regardless, his situation with the Texans is unresolved, and until the sexual assault lawsuits are concluded, Watson will remain a wild card.

Ebhoni Delivers Her Long-Awaited Debut Project, “Good Dick & Weed”

Over the past seven months, Ebhoni has been giving fans all that they could ever ask for — stunning music videos, exciting new singles, a dazzling EP, and even a freestyle over one of Partynextdoor’s classic tracks. Now, the compelling Toronto-born singer-songwriter has upped the ante once more by delivering her first full-length project, intriguingly titled Good Dick & Weed.

According to Ebhoni, her debut project is packed with songs that she made during an emotionally challenging period in her life, and practically all of the tracks that made the record were written while she locked herself in her bathroom. Explaining how GD&W came together, the rising international star said, “When I finished this mixtape I had to leave LA early because my grams was dying, what an emotional time for me.”

“On top of that, I was in the middle of finding myself and understanding my true self worth,” Ebhoni continued, “where there would be times I’d be locked in the washroom writing music just to help me cope with everything going on, that ended up being the project.”

In addition to the heartfelt backstory behind the songs on GD&W, Ebhoni has also revealed that she decided to transfer that intimacy over to the visuals for the project as well. She ended up shooting everything inside her home, and when explaining that creative decision, she said, “Dis project was so personal to me I literally spent months in my bedroom where I’ve cried, prayed, laughed.. prayed sum more. Fell in love & den cried sum more. It only made sense that we shot everything in my room.”

Peep the tracklist for Good Dick & Weed below, and scroll down to listen to Ebhoni’s debut project in its entirety.

Tom Brady Tricks Fans With Edited Accuracy Video: Watch

Tom Brady is indisputably the greatest player in the history of the NFL. He has won seven Super Bowl titles and when the season starts in September, he will be 44 years old. Based on his goals, it seems as though we will only get two more seasons of Brady until he finally decides to retire. Until then, Brady promises to remain at the top of his game as he looks to win an eighth title and make all of his haters weep for one last time.

Prior to the season, Brady has been working extremely hard to keep his body in shape and he has also been doing some accuracy exercises to show the fans that he’s still got it. After all, in order to be a successful QB in the NFL, you have to know how to place the ball, and Brady can do exactly that on any given day.

In a new video posted to social media, Brady can be seen throwing a ball into a throwing machine with pinpoint accuracy. The entire visual is quite impressive and even if you’re not a football fan, or let alone a Brady fan, you can’t help but admit that this is pretty cool.

Interestingly enough, it appears as though the video was heavily edited. Brady tagged video creator Ari Fararooy in his post, who then reposted the video on his own IG while tagging various CGI and effects artists. With this in mind, there is no disputing that this video was manipulated in a way that would make Brady look like a wizard.

Even if the video isn’t 100 percent real, there is no doubt that Brady is ready for the upcoming season. Only time will tell whether or not he can match the magic of last season’s Super Bowl run.

Joe Burrow Receives Huge Injury Update Ahead Of NFL Season

Joe Burrow came into the NFL last season with very few expectations placed upon his shoulders. This wasn’t because he isn’t good but because the Cincinnati Bengals have proven themselves to be football purgatory over the last 20 years. The team can’t seem to win playoff games and when the team has an off year, they are usually at the bottom of the standings. Despite all of this, Burrow proved himself to be an incredible rookie as he threw some phenomenal touchdown passes all while showcasing an ability to read defenses.

Unfortunately for Burrow and the Bengals, things came crashing down as Burrow suffered an ACL tear after a bad hit. The team’s offensive line was horrendous throughout the season, and it ultimately cost their new quarterback his season.

Over the last year, Burrow has been working on his ACL so that he can progress towards a full recovery. The Bengals are going to need Burrow this season if they want a shot at contending, and as it turns out, they have gotten some incredible news.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Burrow will be fully available for training camp, and that there will be no restrictions on his workload. Simply put, he’ll be playing Week 1 this season.

Keep it locked to HNHH, as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the NFL.

Dark Lo & V Don Team Up For “Lamb”

The chemistry between Dark Lo and V Don is unmatched. They previously teamed up for projects like 2018’s Timeless and 2020’s The Prophecy EP. V Don gritty, boom-bap production perfectly meshes with Dark Lo’s gruff, snarling delivery and each time, they bring that gutter essence of hip-hop to life.

This week, they returned with their latest collaborative project, Lamb. The project boasts 11 songs in total with appearances from Willie The Kid and James Ashli. Lamb also includes the previously released single, “100 Proof.”

Dark Lo is coming off of the release of his latest project with Harry Fraud, Borrowed Time, which dropped in May. Meanwhile, V Don dropped his 20-song instrumental project, Lost Gemz 6 at the top of the year.

Check out their new project Lamb below.

Anik Khan Shares New EP “Denied”

Anik Khan has been treading international waters in recent years, though he’s been seldomly releasing new music. His last project, Kites dropped in 2018 and with the exception of a few singles here and there, Anik Khan has kept fans waiting for a new body of work. Unfortunately, no new full-length album has been announced but he did bless fans this week with his latest EP, Denied. The seven-track project includes appearances from Haile Supreme, Nish, Xavier Omar, and Robin Dey. On the production side of things, Anik Khan enlists Sango, Komari, Clik N’ Press, DJ Lyan, and more.

Denied is the first of two EPs that Khan is releasing. The follow-up Approved is expected to drop soon, though he’s yet to announce a release date for the EP.

Trench Baby Declares Himself Chicago’s “Richest Gangbanger”

Whether you know previously heard of him as T Baby or Polo G’s younger brother, Trench Baby is a sensational rising artist who is currently making a name for himself as one of the hardest young rappers in Chicago. With the release of his debut track “F*k Yo Homie” this past March, Trench Baby made it clear that Polo G isn’t the only member of the Capalot family with the gift of gab, and now, the young artist has returned with another blazing single.

Titled “Richest Gangbanger,” Trench Baby’s explosive new track finds him proclaiming his affluence on his side of Chicago, and over the course of two minutes, he spits aggressive, rapid-fire bars that feature references to basketball players like Danny Green and Bam Adebayo as well as showcase his riveting energy on wax.

Get familiar with Trench Baby by watching the video for “Richest Gangbanger” below. Is it safe to say that rapping runs in Trench Baby and Polo G’s family?

Quotable Lyrics

Who broke? Lil’ b*tch, I can buy you
I come through and slide on they block like Bam Adebayo
And if you want the smoke, say it’s up and come get it
No bullsh*t here, you better come with it
I just add a switch on the back of my Glizzy
And this car automatic got five percent tint
In the last shootout that b*tch came close
I’m thankin’ God everyday that the opps missed me
