Kylie Jenner Turned Her Insecurity About Her Lips Into The Creation Of Cosmetics Line

The reunion for the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired on Thursday, June 17th on the E! Network. During the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s sit down with Andy Cohen, Kylie Jenner spoke about the launch of Kylie Cosmetics. She first launched her “Kylie Lip Kits” in 2015 and it sold out in less than a minute.

During the episode, Jenner detailed how her insecurities surrounding her natural lips helped launch her multi-million dollar company. Cohen asked Kylie if her insecurities are what led her to break into the cosmetics industry. “I had really small lips, and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my God, you’re such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,’ or something like that,” she recalled. “From then on, I felt unkissable.”

This isn’t the first time the KUTWK personality opened up about how she was self-conscience about her facial features. During a 2017 episode of Life With Kylie, she admitted, “I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips — And then finally I was like, this lip liner isn’t doing it. I ended up getting my lips done.

Kylie Cosmetics proves to be a formidable makeup brand. Recently, the company announced that they are redesigning its original lip kits.

The second part of the KUTWK reunion special airs Thursday, June 24th.

Joel Embiid Punished After Run-In With John Collins

Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks will engage in a Game 7 matchup for the ages. The 76ers are the clear favorites to win the series although the Hawks have been sneaky all series long. There is a belief that the Hawks could pull off the upset, and if they want to do it, they will need some top-tier performances from Trae Young and John Collins.

In Game 6, Collins was able to get into Joel Embiid’s head as he dunked on him in one of the best posters we’ve seen all playoffs. Later in the game, Embiid ended up falling on Collins which led to an altercation between the two where Embiid used his size to intimidate the Hawks star. While it was a harmless run-in, the NBA has now decided to fine Embiid $35,000 due to the fact that he escalated the situation.

Embiid has a pretty hefty contract so the fine certainly won’t hurt his bank account that badly. Regardless, this does seem to be an annoying and unnecessary punishment given the circumstances. Players have run-ins all the time with one another, and it was simply a heat-of-the-moment ordeal that ended up harming nobody.

With Game 7 just hours away, we’re sure both Embiid and Collins will be ready to up the intensity as a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals is on the line.

Dame Dash Fires Back At Jay-Z’s “Reasonable Doubt” Lawsuit: Report

Dame Dash and Jay-Z haven’t been on good terms for over a decade. Whether they will ever be able to mend their relationship and go back to making massive business together remains highly unlikely, especially after the recent lawsuit filed against Dame. On Friday, Dame Dash was hit with a lawsuit by Roc-A-Fella Records after his alleged attempt to sell Jay-Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt as a NFT. Despite the legal power of Hov and the Roc Nation empire, Dame Dash doesn’t seem too concerned about possible future litigation.

Dame Dash has officially responded to the lawsuit filed by Roc-A-Fella Records against him. According to TMZ, the entertainment mogul said that the lawsuit has many inaccuracies in it and clarified that it wasn’t Reasonable Doubt he was trying to sell. It was his entire stake in the label. He claimed that in March, Jay tried to purchase his third of Roc-A-Fella but Dame said that Hov’s offer was “a price I deemed unacceptable.”

“Under the terms of the deal with a potential buyer, the buyer would buy my share of Roc a Fella Records and Jay-Z will have exclusive administration rights,” Dash told the publication of his deal.

As far as the lawsuit that was filed against him, Dash said that it was merely a bluff in an attempt to prevent him from selling his shares in the company. Dash made it clear that he believes that he has the right to sell his portion of the legendary label.

This is the second lawsuit filing in regards to Reasonable Doubt in the past week. Jay-Z sued the photographer who shot the cover art to the album. Hov claims that the photographer has been using his likeness without permission to generate revenue.

We’ll keep you posted on any more updates regarding the case.

Shaq Challenges Ben Simmons Ahead Of Game 7

Throughout the NBA postseason, Ben Simmons has been having a baffling campaign with the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons is supposed to be one of the best players in the league although his confidence has been completely destroyed. He cannot shoot the ball for the life of him and at the free-throw line, he has been a disaster. This has forced Joel Embiid to carry the load for the Sixers and it is starting to become a huge problem, especially in the second round.

Now, the 76ers are gearing up for a pivotal Game 7 against the Atlanta Hawks and if they want to win, they will need Ben Simmons to be playing his best basketball. In fact, NBA legend Shaq is now issuing a challenge to Simmons as he is fed up with the man’s play. As a fellow LSU alum, Shaq wants Simmons to do better.

“You went to LSU. Man up,” Shaq said simply. Criticisms against Simmons have been commonplace as of late, especially in light of these struggles that have held the Sixers back. They should be one of the best teams in the league, while Simmons is supposed to be one of the best big men. Instead, the second round has been a way bigger struggle than anticipated, which has made fans very frustrated.

Let us know who you think is going to take Game 7, in the comments section below.

Toronto’s Portion is keeping a steady stream of music coming as he gears up for the release of a new project. Fresh off of the release of his single, “99 PRBLMS,” he returned with the follow-up, “Ties.” The rapper glides over hypnotizing flutes and acoustic guitar scales with pain-riddled melodies reflecting on the environment he and many others in Toronto grew up around.

City Girls, Coi Leray & Lakeyah Link Up & Do The “Twerkulator” Dance

XXL announced their 2021 Freshman Class last week. The new list of the hottest up-and-coming artists in the game included Detroit native 42 Dugg, Chicago emcee Pooh Shiesty, Toosii, DDG, and more. Most notably, however, this year’s Freshman Class boasts the most women to ever be crowned with the honorary title in history.

Flo Milli, Coi Leray, Lakeyah, and Rubi Rose all earned spots on the list, a positive signal towards a new generation of hip hop dominated by women rappers. Over the weekend, established game players City Girls connected with Coi Leray and Lakeyah, linking up with the new Freshman to kick it backstage.

On Saturday (June 19), the ladies of rap linked up behind the scenes of a Mississippi concert that the Miami duo, Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, and Coi Leray were all scheduled to perform at. As the ladies relaxed backstage before the show, they pulled out their phones to do the viral “Twerkulator” dance together.

All dolled up for their performances, the ladies, minus JT, turned up together in a TikTok shared to Lakeyah’s account. Elsewhere, Lakeyah shared footage of JT right before hitting the stage.

Seeing the ladies of rap embrace the incoming generation of female rappers with open arms is always exciting to witness considering they’re often pitted against each other. Nicki Minaj recently reached out to Coi Leray with advice on keeping her head up despite the negativity.

“Don’t do that. Chin up,” responded Nicki. “Always remember this, when black ppl not fkn w|you #TheyWillBoo,” she added. “Those ppl were on their feet. That means they may not have known the song, but they were interested in getting to know more— so they were observing u. Charge it to the game & move on”
