Yung Bleu Tells Black Men How They Can Remain Faithful: “Stay Off Social Media”

There have been plenty of infidelity scandals that have made headlines. They don’t just involve rappers, either; often we see stories about people from the entertainment, sports, and tech industries as well as the art world, and often, we find that they’re centered around people being caught on social media. Rappers have been called out by their significant others after sliding in someone’s DMs, and Yung Bleu recently shared his solution to keeping yourself out of trouble.

Joe Budden Reflects On A Tumultuous Year During “Rant Mode”

Joe Budden has been at the forefront of podcasting with his self-titled show. It became a Spotify exclusive, propelling the brand further but that deal ultimately fell apart. In retrospect, it was the beginning of a downfall. The show lost its two co-hosts, Rory and Mal, which appears could be leading to legal troubles. Plus, the sexual harassment allegations made by Olivia Dope made plenty of his day-one fans turn against him.

Earlier today, Joe Budden took to his Instagram Story where he aired out his grievances which seemed to be rooted in the departure of his former co-hosts. “N***as be mad that you not mad at them being mad… that’s the maddening party,” he wrote on his Story. He added that he’s not mad at anyone in particular but simply looking after his own best interests when it comes to his life.

“Every day I listen to complaints from ppl & i just shut up and listen… but it’s EVERY DAY AND ALL DAY NOTHING BUT COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SMALLEST SHIT IN THE WORLD!!!! BUt you can’t say that cuz that’s gaslighting… well you know what else I never say?” he wrote in a subsequent post before revealing a long list of personal problems that he’s been dealing with behind closed doors.

“6 months into the year I’ve lost millions of dollars, friends, 3 of my ppl purposefully transitioned, my enemies have scouting programs, the Interet cares about all mental health but mine, I’m rebuilding on the fly and I”m being sued by ppl i tried to help that you can’t sue back cuz for what… And I never utter a word about any of it,” he wrote. “And somehow, miraculously, by the grace of God and God only…. IM DOING BETTER THAN EVER!!!!”

Lul Tim, Suspect In King Von’s Murder Case, Denies Targeting Lil Durk

The investigation into King Von’s death is active as Timothy Leeks, known as Lul Tim, has been charged with the late rapper’s murder. Months ago, Leeks, who is good friends with Quando Rondo, was released on bond and since that time, he’s been working on his Rap career while, for the most part, steering clear of controversy.

Yet, the scandal has followed him considering he’s been named as Von’s alleged killer and the public has been pitting Quando Rondo against Lil Durk. Recently, a video circulated online that showed Leeks inside of a vehicle and people took to social media to say he was acting as if he was running up on Lil Durk because it sounded as if Leeks said the Chicago rapper’s name.

However, after the clip went viral, Leeks was inundated with comments and messages, but he returned to clarify that he wasn’t speaking about Lil Durk, at all. “Didn’t even say that man name my partna name Dirt,” Leeks wrote on his Instagram Story.

“Stop Clout Chasing fan page before I come catch you.” Earlier this month, Leeks stated that he was unable to share one of his music videos because his attempts were being thwarted. “Damn I can’t drop the video due to somebody telling the judge,” he explained at the time.

NBA YoungBoy Doesn’t Pay For Features & “Turns Down 100,000s For Them”

As fans await more information regarding NBA YoungBoy’s case, his friend is giving insight into how the rapper navigates the industry. YoungBoy has been incarcerated since earlier this year after he was arrested in Los Angeles. Last Fall, the Louisiana icon was taken into custody after police reportedly found the rapper filming at a relative’s home. Months later, YoungBoy was tacked with federal weapons charges and his attorneys have continued to deny that any of the firearms belonged to the rapper.

Meanwhile, YoungBoy has stayed busy while behind bars as his team has released new music. The chart-topping artist has also stayed in contact, as minimal as it has been, with his fans by sharing lengthy text updates about how he’s handling his current circumstance.

Over on Instagram, YoungBoy’s associate Herm Tha Blacksheep took to his Stories to drop a bit of unknown knowledge about the rapper. “One this fasho Yb the only artist that never paid for a feature and turns down 100,000a for them,” he wrote. “The industry don’t have street n*ggas no more FREE TOP.”

YoungBoy is an artist that operates with minimal features on his projects yet is still able to reach the No. 1 spot on the charts. It is rumored that YoungBoy and his team are currently working on his next album’s release, said to be titled Sincerely, Kentrell.

Asian Doll Recruits Rubi Rose, Dreezy, Dream Doll & Ivorian Doll For “Nunnadet Sh*t” Remix

Asian Doll is proving all of her naysayers wrong these days. Her career hasn’t gone without its fair share of ups and downs but after recently revealing that she’s enlisted Stacia Mac as her new manager, it seems like Asian Doll’s going to be making some serious noise in the near future, outside of her typical headline-grabbing antics.

A few months ago, Asian Doll tapped into a drill side of her artistry with the release of “Nunnadet Shit.” Though noticeably in the vein of the late King Von, the song’s continued to steam up and now, she’s unveiled the official remix to the track featuring a slew of the hardest ladies in rap. DreamDoll, Dreezy, Rubi Rose, and UK’s Ivorian Doll deliver stellar verses, bringing high energy, and tons of swag to the record.

Rising Detroit Rapper Bruiser Wolf Explains How He Separated Himself From The Pack

Danny Brown is a unique, head-turning rapper. He seems to have a keen eye for other idiosyncratic artists as well: Bruiser Wolf, an artist on Brown’s Bruiser Brigade Records label, has drawn critical praise for standing out on his new album, Dope Game Stupid. As Wolf makes his ascent, a new Magnum Scenes video (presented by Uproxx in partnership with Magnum) looks at where Wolf has been and where he’s going.

The Detroit rapper was once known as Big Wolf, but he says he tweaked his name to show his appreciation for his label and his fellow artists on it: “I used to be Big Wolf. Changed it when I got with the Bruiser Brigade. All fire MC’s, fire producers. […] To let them know that this forever, I put ‘Bruiser’ in front of my name, like a badge of honor for me, to express my loyalty.”

Between footage of Wolf showing off his home and life, his Bruiser Brigade compatriots share praise for his unique style. “He’s a poet and a comedian at the same time,” ZelooperZ noted. J.U.S. also declared, “I ain’t heard nobody rap like that in so long.” Meanwhile, Brown praised his “very distinctive voice that’s going to separate him from the pack.”

Elsewhere in the video, Wolf and his peers tell the story of his career so far, and it’s full of terrific anecdotes, including some avian coincidences that tie in to the distinctive Dope Game Stupid cover art. Check out the full video above.

Doja Cat Thinks Fans Look At Female Rappers Like They’re ‘Less Than Smart’

As female rappers continue to gain in popularity, more of them have spoken out about the unfair perceptions facing women in hip-hop. Cardi B recently addressed the double standard that follows them, saying in essence that they must work twice as hard for half the respect, a sentiment that up-and-coming rapper Latto co-signed a few weeks later.

In a new interview for Nick Cannon’s show on LA’s Power 106, Doja Cat also fielded questions about why she believes women face these obstacles. “When you dress up like you are going on a night out in Miami… People will put you in a category and for them to be comfortable, they’ll make it seem like you are not very smart, you are just a girl who is just a rapper,” she said. “You don’t have a great sense of humor maybe, or you’re stuck up… like female rappers are vapid or less than smart, I feel that’s how they’re looked at.”

Incidentally, it seemed that the interview itself simply affirmed her outlook, as she later tweeted, “If you’re gonna interview musicians try to ask them about their music,” highlighting how Cannon’s line of questioning apparently ignored the fact she has a new album, Planet Her, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles “Kiss Me More” with SZA and “You Right” with The Weeknd, as well as a deluxe edition featuring Eve’s first rapping appearance since Missy Elliott’s 2017 “I’m Better” remix.
