Ari Fletcher Details “World Falling Apart” After Giving Birth: “I Was So Depressed”

G Herbo is preparing for not only the birth of his firstborn with fiancée Taina Williams but the third birthday of his son Yoshon that he shares with his ex-girlfriend Ari Fletcher. The former couple is currently peacefully co-parenting after being at odds in the past, and with her little boy’s big day on the horizon, Ari took to social media to share a few thoughts about what she was going through just months after giving birth.

On Instagram, Ari posted a black and white video that showed her enjoying time with her newborn. In the caption, she revealed the struggles she was enduring at the time. “This video is from June 17th, 2018. I watch this video and it makes me so emotional but so strong,” said the model. “I was living in Chicago in a condo and I was so depressed. In this moment I felt like all I had was my son.”

“My whole world was falling apart, I was at such a low point in my life I thought it was over for me. I couldn’t see past whatever was outside this window,” Fletcher added. “Lol But I used to play this song for my son when he would cry and it made him so calm. I was going through postpartum depression but I knew I could never give up on my baby. Something about this moment helped my mind see something bigger… anytime I feel weak, empty, sad or whatever unpleasant way that I can feel I come back to this video and it reminds me that it’s not over.”

Ari and Moneybagg Yo have been solid for some time, blending their families together as the rapper reportedly has seven children. Check out Ari’s post below.

Columbus Short Claims Britney Spears’s Parents Called Him N-Word During Their Fling

The “Free Britney” movement gained new steam following the release of The New York Times‘s Hulu docuseries about her conservatorship. An episode was keenly dedicated to Britney Spears’s rises and falls during her decades-long reign in the music industry, including the head-shaving meltdown that reportedly occurred following an argument with ex Kevin Federline as she was being harassed by the never-ending flashing cameras of the paparazzi. In 2003, actor Columbus Short worked with Spears as a dancer and producer, and according to him, they had a brief fling at the time.

Last year, Short released his autobiography Short Stories where he reportedly detailed a racially-charged incident involving Spears’s parents. Short alleges that while touring in Rome, he and Spears had sex. “I was next to [Britney] while she was on the phone with them crying while she had it on speaker.” He said that he heard someone on the line say, “Why are you f*king that n*gger?” Short added, “Britney looked at me so apologetically, knowing I’d heard it. I shook my head and didn’t say anything, because what was there to say?”

It was a story that Short rehashed earlier this month while on Inside Hollywood. “I wasn’t shocked when it happened. Look where they’re from … they’re from Louisiana. The way it came out was so effortless, like that’s how they speak,” said Short. “I wasn’t shocked and I wasn’t hurt by it, I was just like, ‘Wow, this is, okay, I know who I am around here.’… Because they have Black bodyguards doesn’t mean behind closed doors they don’t use that word.”

“After that I felt like maybe [Britney] was using me to piss them off for some reason. I think she is a really sweet person that was tormented in a position on a high level that I can’t imagine,” he added. “I liken it to Princess Diana. She was the pop princess. Britney couldn’t go nowhere—her world [was] completely controlled in this bubble. There would be times that she would act out, and I don’t blame her. She was trying to find her way… I love Britney to this day… I feel bad for her. I wish the world knew the Britney I knew.”

After Short’s comments circulated, Brtiney’s mother Lynne Spears adamantly denied the incident ever occurred. “I want to be very clear. Those terrible words are not remotely in my vocabulary,” she told Page Six. “I would never say that to anyone, much less my daughter. Ever.” You can watch his interview with Inside Hollywood below.

“Gorilla Glue Lady” Tessica Brown Blasts LisaRaye McCoy, Says Da Brat & Fiancée Reached Out

Now that she’s learned a valuable lesson about hairspray versus super glue as haircare products, Tessica Brown has struggled with her newfound fame. Brown quickly became a viral sensation after she posted a video to TikTok claiming that her hairstyle hadn’t moved in a month because she used the super adhesive Gorilla Glue on her hair, causing a firestorm of social media responses. Her GoFundMe amassed tens of thousands of dollars and reports alleged that she planned on suing the company, but Brown would come forward to deny claims that she used the opportunity as a money-earning front.

Brown’s case has become a hot topic for pop culture commentators, and she has heard a few of the remarks made by LisaRaye McCoy that rubbed her the wrong way. “I don’t care how ghetto you are or how slow you are that you can’t even read or whatever and any of all of that,” LisaRaye previously stated. “You know better. You should have asked somebody.”

In a sit-down interview with The Neighborhood Talk, Tessica Brown called out the actress. “LisaRaye, they say she had a lot to say,” said Brown. Then, she mentioned McCoy’s role on The Player’s Club. “You don’t even know me. You’re judging me? You know, I like—you gon give us Diamond? You know what I’m saying?”

However, McCoy’s sister Da Brat and the rapper’s fiancée, Jesseca DuPart, apparently were kinder with their response. “But her sister, Da Brat, and her girlfriend, oh they sent me a whole box of Miracle Drops. Everything off their product line.” Swipe below to hear Brown speak about the actress and answer a few more questions about what it felt like being criticized by the entire world.

Saba And Femdot Seek Longevity In Their Optimistic Video For ‘Lifetime’

Chicago rapper Femdot earned his first big moment in the spotlight in 2019 thanks to his album ’94 Camry Music. Soon enough, his name started to appear more often, appearing on collaborations with Taylor Bennet, Pivot Gang, and more. Femdot returned last November with the tracks “Back Home” and “Lifetime,” featuring Saba. More than three months after sharing the two songs, Femdot and Saba reconnect in a video for the latter.

The rappers’ “Lifetime” collaboration details their hope for career longevity. Together, the Chicago rappers make it clear that want more than fifteen minutes of fame, and in the video they come together in a quiet field to look out to the horizon with the hope that their wishes become a reality.

The new video is the latest piece of content to arrive from Saba in what we hope leads to a new album. After going more than a year without a solo release, the rapper returned towards the end of 2019 with “Mrs. Whoever” and “Something In The Water” alongside Denzel Curry. Two months later, he returned with more music thanks to “So And So” and “Areyoudown? Pt. 2.” So who knows, maybe there will be more.

Yella Beezy Affidavit States He Had 5 Guns In Car When Arrested: Report

Love was in the air during Valentine’s Day weekend as people celebrated the holiday of love, yet Yella Beezy found himself on the wrong side of the law. The Dallas rapper, real name Markies Conway, was questioned by police in his hometown after they claim that they noticed Beezy’s vehicle had window tinted too dark. He pulled out of a strip mall and according to a recently released arrest warrant affidavit, Beezy failed to make a complete stop at a nearby intersection.

According to a report made by Dallas News, Yella Beezy was the only person in his vehicle during the traffic stop. The rapper was reportedly asked to roll down his window to speak with authorities and it was then that he told them that he couldn’t because his car windows were bulletproof. Beezy exited the vehicle and when police ran a check on his name, they found that he was a documented gang member and the affidavit states that an officer could see a firearm out in the open.

Not only was Beezy’s vehicle searched, but officers at the scene called in a drug-sniffing dog that allegedly showed that it had identified some trace of substance in the car. A search reportedly uncovered the guns listed below, and according to the report, Beezy admitted to owning the weapons. Because he’s a documented gang member with authorities, he’s reportedly not allowed to have handguns in his vehicle.

A Beretta PMX containing 19 rounds of ammunition. The gun had been reported stolen in Frisco.
An FN Herstal Five-Seven that had 21 rounds of ammunition.
A Sig Sauer P365 with 11 rounds of ammunition.
A Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard that had six rounds of ammunition.
A Springfield Armory Saint AR-15 pistol with a 54-round drum of ammunition. The gun had a wrist-brace that made it possible to fire the weapon with one hand.

In response, TMZ reports Beezy’s team alleged that the guns were registered, also reportedly stating that they believe the entire incident was a set-up.

Bobby Shmurda Reveals He Spoke With Nipsey Hussle One Month Before Death

We haven’t received Bobby Shmurda’s “First Day Out” track, but we’ve witnessed a few of his celebrations with friends. Quavo and the crew hopped a private jet to pick up Shmurda as soon as he was freed from prison. The “Hot N*gga” rapper served just over six years of his seven-year sentence—and sentence that he agreed to in order for his good friend Rowdy Rebel to receive time. In his first 24 hours, GQ magazine was on the scene to speak with Shmurda for his first post-prison interview, and it’s clear that while the music industry is still an interest for the rapper, he has his eyes set on expanding his business moves in real estate and other investments.

In the interview, Shmurda revealed that he spent time in solitary confinement and during his stint, Quavo was as supportive as he could be, offering advice however he could. Shmurda said he spent his time immersed in law books. “I only want to talk about real estate now. Ask anybody. [This morning] I said, ‘Quavo—real estate!’ and he’s like, ‘Chill, you just got out.’ They made me a monster now,” Bobby said. Then, he turned serious.

“You’re like an animal in a f*cking cage. And you’re mentally a monster. Physically a monster. Spiritually a monster. They aren’t going to know what to do with you,” he added. “I know what y’all like. I know what y’all don’t like. Y’all don’t like to see young, Black rich n*ggas. So I’m going to get real rich on y’all. I’m going to make it legit, though. They want to see you n*ggas back selling crack. You know what I mean? Going to jail and sh*t. And I’m going to make it legit now.”

Bobby also shared that he’d spoken with the late Nipsey Hussle about getting actively involved in real estate and other ventures, as well. “I only had four or five conversations with cousin.”  Shmurda claimed that his last conversation with Nipsey occurred just one month before he was gunned down in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. “His mind was different. He was saying all the things we were going to do when I got out.”

Wendy Williams Claims K. Michelle’s Injections Leaked On Idris Elba’s Sheets

Her body recovery has been an expensive, years-long process, and along the way, K. Michelle has regularly shared updates on her journey. The singer and reality star has been on a quest to restoring her physique after receiving butt injections that she claims put her life in danger. Due to multiple painful surgeries, K. Michelle has been left with areas that may look abnormal to some, and during a recent Instagram Live, viewers caught a glimpse of what looked to be sagging in her backside.

K. Michelle came forward to explain the viral clip. “What u saw in the video was a happy woman with a faja and my extra fat!” she stated. “I’ve been very open so I can heal ladies. I didn’t have to tell anybody and I could’ve covered up until the process was done, but NO. Ladies need to see and hear the truth. I decided to use my platform to help.”

The singer’s shape caught national attention and soon, Wendy Williams was weighing in on her talk show, but with an additional revelation that stunned viewers. There was a time years ago when actor Idris Elba and K. Michelle were reportedly dating and according to Wendy, there was an incident between the couple when K. Michelle’s injections began leaking.

“Because I guess it took a little while for them to squish down and she said, ‘Oh my gosh, what is this on my underwear? What is this gooey’—I don’t know that’s what she said but I can only imagine the tragedy of the situation. Leaving silicone on Idris Elba’s sheets. I love that story, that they were romantical at one point.”

People were quick to call Wendy’s remarks shady. Check out her clip below.
