Jack Harlow Reveals Collab With Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, Or André 3000

During a recent interview, Jack Harlow named some of his biggest musical influences, giving flowers to Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and André 3000. Out of those names, the Kentucky native has only gotten the chance to work with one of those legendary artists, trading verses with Tunechi on the “WHATS POPPIN” remix. However, in the coming months, he’ll be crossing another one of those names from his list, revealing that he’s got a song with one of the other four artists.

“One other one’s coming right up. One other [name] I listed is coming right up,” said Jack on the Big Facts podcast with Big Bank and DJ Scream. After the hosts tried to widdle the list down, they theorized that Jack could be featured on Drake’s heavily-teased new Certified Lover Boy album. While the rapper and DJ Drama don’t confirm that he’s featured on the project, Jack said, “Just wait. Hold on.” DJ Drama added that their collaboration would “sound fire”

When they suggest a Harlow x Eminem song, Jack shrugs and Drama says that that would also “sound fire”.

Right now, it’s unclear which one of these legends Jack Harlow has a song with. But in the next few weeks, the rising star will be getting yet another monster co-sign from one of the all-time greats, which marks another major moment in his career.

Who do you think he’s been working with? Drake? Eminem? Jay-Z? Or André 3000?

Post Malone And Kacey Musgraves Busted Out Country Covers For A Virtual Benefit Concert

Post Malone hasn’t shied away from busting out a cover in recent years. Most famously, he raised millions of dollars for charity with a full set of Nirvana covers around this time last year. Now he’s gotten back in the saddle, which is appropriate phrasing because he covered two contemporary country music icons during Matthew and Camila McConaughey’s We’re Texas virtual benefit concert over the weekend.

Joined by Dwight Yoakam’s band, Malone busted out a rendition of Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” which he didn’t try to genre-shift and kept faithful to the original version. To conclude the two-hour broadcast, Malone and Yoakam’s band gave a rollicking performance of Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have The Crown.”

Elsewhere during the show, Kacey Musgraves also popped up, sitting in her bedroom and armed with an acoustic guitar to cover Willie Nelson’s classic “On The Road Again.” Musgraves also spoke about how she came to be involved with the event, saying it started with the sort of phone call she doesn’t usually answer: “I don’t answer unknown numbers, but for some reason I did and it was Matthew. Obviously it was a hell yes for me.”

Watch the full concert above. Malone’s cover of “I’m Gonna Miss Her” begins at 2:03:54 into the video, his cover of “You Can Have The Crown” begins at 2:10:34, and Musgraves’ rendition of “On The Road Again” begins at 1:26:23.

Yung Bleu Expains Why He Pulled Tory Lanez’ “You’re Mines Still”

Yung Bleu’s “You’re Mines Still” proved to be a breakout hit, unsurprising given that it was part of the so-called “Drake Stimulus Package,” to the point where the rapper openly admitted to securing the quickest bag of his career as a result. And with the song widening the scope of his mainstream reach, it also sparked a few remixes and freestyles — including one from fellow Canadian Tory Lanez, who previously offered his own take on the track in February.

Unfortunately for Lanez, Yung Bleu was extremely displeased with the remix, especially given some of the backstory. “Remixes cool but show love ! Y’all n*ggas weird!” he wrote, calling out Tory for a prior snub. “@torylanez I reached out to u on some let’s work sh*t. U never responded that’s cool ! Never gone get mad at that ! but u wanna remix my song and dnt even acknowledge a young n*gga tryna come up. U rap n*ggas be on some hoe sh*t.”

Recently, Bleu took a moment to chop it up with DJ Vlad, who made sure to inquire about the Tory Lanez situation. “I had hit him up a couple of times, and he never responded,” explained the young melodist. “I know a couple of people in radio who reached out on my behalf, and he never got back to them…Then I see he did a remix of my song and didn’t tag me. So I basically said something about it, cause I needed to start standing up for myself bro.”

“I don’t think he meant nothin’ by it, it just honestly slipped his mind,” explains Bleu. “But I don’t know.” When Vlad brings up how Bleu had Tory’s remix video taken down, the singer offers a bit of clarity on the situation. “I actually texted him to put it back up,” he says. “But they never put it back up. After I linked up with him and we did a song together, I told Empire to put it back up. I was cool with it coming back, it just never came back.”

Bleu reveals that the pair were able to talk it out, maintaining that it was never that serious to begin with. Vlad proceeds to inquire about Tory and Megan Thee Stallion’s ongoing situation, but Bleu isn’t willing to head down that particular rabbit hole. “I ain’t a judge, so I can’t even say my take,” he explains. “I had so many crazy drunk nights, I can’t even know what happened that night. I can’t really say.”

Blake Griffin Reacts To Nets Debut & First Dunk

Blake Griffin finally got to make his Brooklyn Nets debut last night and based on the results, it was fairly successful. Griffin got to play 15 minutes and in the end, he notched two rebounds and another two points. The Nets ended up winning the game, which once again, put them steadily at the front of the Eastern Conference standings where they appear to be the team to beat.

Griffin’s two points came from a dunk which was the first time he had scored on a dunk in almost two years. With his knee problems, Griffin hasn’t been able to do those kinds of plays but in Brooklyn, he appears to be finding his old rhythm. After the game, he explained what his Nets debut meant to him.

“It felt great. I knew once it happened that it was going to be a thing so I tried not to look at the bench when I was coming back down but then I kinda peeked over and I saw DeAndre (Jordan) all the way out on the side and saw everybody standing up so it was hard not to smile in that situation. It felt good to just get that out of the way and move on,” Griffin said.

Griffin is now on a contender and there is a realistic chance he gets to go to his first NBA Finals. Hopefully, we will continue to see what he is capable of over the next few months.

Saweetie Calls Out LA Rapper Chasing Clout Off Her

Saweetie and Quavo have officially broken up and their split has not been pretty so far. After they quietly unfollowed each other on social media, rumors of their split captured the attention of hip-hop fans across the nation, who had previously hailed the pair as “relationship goals”. Now that Saweetie has effectively accused Quavo of cheating on her with other women, it’s clear that there was much more happening behind the scenes than they cared to show in their pictures.

Social media has been abuzz with speculation about who Saweetie and Quavo could potentially move on with. While some people have joked that Saweetie is angling for a date with the one-and-only Drake after telling her ex Quavo to “take care”, one particular Los Angeles-based rapper was trying to claim that the Icy Girl was actually moving on with him. According to Saweetie though, that’s big cap.

LA rapper Ray Vaughn posted a video of Saweetie over the weekend, telling his followers that they “got 1 in the vault”. After fan pages called out the rapper and said that the video was months old, Saweetie herself jumped in to call out Vaughn, confirming that the video was taken in August 2020. “Bye,” she said with a laughing emoji on Instagram stories, circling the date that she wore the orange outfit she was seen wearing in the clip.

Considering Saweetie basically just shut down Ray Vaughn’s dreams of swooping up the rapper, it seems as though she may not be in a rush to go public with anybody else after such a tumultuous break-up with Quavo.

Check out the posts above and let us know who you think she’d be good with.

Drake & Lil Baby’s “Wants And Needs” Hits Gold Status

Following a series of delays from the originally-projected January 21′ release date, the release of Drake’s Certified Lover Boy appears to be on the way. In order to tide fans over, Drizzy delivered a sequel to Scary Hours on March 5th, a three-song effort with guest appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. Unsurprisingly, the EP is already moving impressive numbers, with lead single “What’s Next” having already sold five-hundred album-equivalent units.

Now, the project appears to have spawned another gold single. According to Our Generation Music, the Lil Baby-assisted “Wants And Needs,” which happens to be the EP’s second track, has also moved five-hundred-thousand. Though it has yet to be officially certified by the RIAA, don’t be surprised to see Drizzy lining his walls with a new batch of shiny gold plaques soon enough.

At this rate, the only song from Scary Hours 2 that hasn’t yet hit the five-hundred-thousand benchmark is the Rick Ross-assisted “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” Surprising in a way, as there are many who consider the lyrically-focused closer a bonafide project highlight; in fact, some even believe that Drake raps some of his best bars in years on the lavish Renzel collaboration. While cynics might conclude that bars don’t quite have the mainstream appeal they once had, it’s likely that “Lemon Pepper” will join the party soon enough — after all, it did join its fellow Scary Hours 2 cuts in an impressive Hot 100 top 3 takeover

Congratulations to Drizzy for yet another display of commercial dominance.
