OhGeesy Explains What ‘Big Bad Wolf’ Means For ‘Behind The Video’

Uproxx’s Behind The Video returns with LA underground bad boy OhGeesy, who breaks down his video for “Big Bad Wolf” featuring YG. The lead single from OhGeesy’s solo debut album Geezyworld Vol. 1, “Big Bad Wolf” found the former Shoreline Mafia member creating a cash storm alongside his West Coast compatriot while dancers twerked their way through the dollar bill debris.

Without going into too many details about the “secret location” of the video shoot, which was in Downtown Los Angeles, OhGeesy reveals how the video came together and takes in fan comments. The song took about 15 minutes to make after the two rappers, who share the same manager, were introduced in the studio. OhGeesy also notes how crazy the LA underground scene can get, but denies participating — with a wink and a smile, just as he does when explains the line “I like my Glock nine like my f*cking llama.” “I love my guns,” he grins. “If I had guns, I would love ’em.” He also insists the money used in the video was all real, “no prop money.”

Flo Milli Goes A Step Further Than Coi Leray With Extreme Nudity At NYFW

Coi Leray turned heads with her breath-taking display at New York Fashion Week, stepping out on a couple of skin-baring outfits that had everybody talking on social media. In one of her outfits, the New Jersey-raised rapper wore a top that exposed her breasts, covering her nipples with tape. Then, she was spotted wearing another revealing outfit, embracing her body with a see-through sheer top, and leaving the nipple tape at home.

Much like Coi did, fellow rapper Flo Milli decided to make a strong statement at NYFW, going one step further than Coi did and wearing a full-body sheer outfit, which left very little to the imagination.

“Girl you so fuckin perfect,” she wrote to herself, posting a gallery of pictures of her head-turning outfit. The lace bodysuit was designed by Mr. Saturday, and it has Flo’s fans absolutely raving.

“U BETTER EAT,” commented Lil Nas X on the pictures. “Shut It Down,” said Trinidad James. Wale also chimed in with multiple fire emojis.

iann dior Returns With New Single “V12” Featuring Lil Uzi Vert

After hitting a series of milestone achievements, including his first chart-topping single with 24kGoldn’s “Mood,” hitmaker iann dior is back with his latest single.

The Puerto Rican-born, Corpus Christi-raised vocalist has returned with his latest new music, enlisting Lil Uzi Vert for “V12.” The track, which was produced by Taz Taylor, Nick Mira, and Cxdy, has been in the works for several months, and fans are excited to finally hear the finished version. It comes alongside a new music video, directed by Rudy Grazziani and iann dior.

The song premiered on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music 1 show. It comes on the heels of iann’s European tour announcement.

Carmelo Anthony Laughs At Notion Lakers Are Too Old

Just after getting bounced in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers and their 36-year-old leader set out to re-build their roster to get back to the NBA Finals. However, in addition to adding star point guard Russell Westbrook, the Lakers signed Carmelo Anthony, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, DeAndre Jordan and a handful of other vets leading fans and media members across the country to ask: is this team just too old?

It’s a valid question, especially with the Lakers roster boasting an average age above 30 (they are the oldest team in the league), but one Laker vet isn’t paying too much attention to it. 

“You guys are baiting people to start a debate,” Melo said. “It’s all about debate. We get it.”

Speaking to Complex about his new book Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised, Melo had more to say about the buzz surrounding his new team. 

“This is what you guys have to do. We understand that and we laugh at it … everybody on the outside have their opinions about it and we’re the ones who know who we are,” Melo added. “We know what we have to do. We know how we going to do it. Those are the things we have to deal with. So it’s easy for the outsiders or naysayers to give their overall perspective and it’s very opinionated.” 

While Anthony has yet to win an NBA Championship, he has nearly two decades of experience in the league and knows sometimes the best course of action is to simply block all the noise out. Despite their old age, all the vets on this upcoming Lakers team have meaningful playoff or championship experience under their belts and seem committed to playing their roles to achieve the ultimate goal.

Unfortunately, however, Father Time is undefeated and there is a real possibility that the Lakers run out of gas along the way. When Pusha T revealed that Drake was “hiding a child” on the “Story of Adidon” in 2018, the internet exploded. It was one of the most insane chess moves rap beef had ever seen and was ultimately what left Drake holding a very rare L. 

The Toronto rapper responded weeks later on Scorpion’s “Emotionless” rapping, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid,” and ever since, there has been a certain level interest in Drake’s son, Adonis. With big, curly blonde hair and bright, blue eyes, the kid who looks just a little like Sandra Graham is hard to miss but aside from an appearance at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, where Drake was awarded the title Artist of the Decade, any sightings of Adonis have come in the form of the occasional IG post or story. 

Yesterday, however, the Six God took to IG with a brand-new Adonis flick and made a move that ensures we’ll all be seeing his son every time we open the app. Posted with the simple caption, “I feel you kid” Drake also changed his Instagram avatar to a picture of Adonis.

So now every time you want to click through Drizzy’s story and see where he’s at in the world, which basketball game he’s watching or the music he’s listening to, or if he’s hanging out with Future, you’re gonna have to see Adonis. So much for hiding the kid from the world. Drake has 92.2M followers on IG and they’re all gonna see him all the time.

Charlamagne Tha God Defends Nicki Minaj Following Joy-Ann Reid Spat

All it takes is a few tweets from Nicki Minaj to turn social media upside down. In the midst of explaining her absence from both the VMAs and the Met Gala, Nicki revealed her hesitancy towards getting the COVID-19 vaccine, even after catching the virus. While she explained that she would get vaccinated before hitting the road, she said that she needed to do more research. She also made a bizarre claim about the vaccine being linked to being impotent which has yet to be proven true.

Nonetheless, Nicki’s received a tongue-lashing from the studios of MSNBC’s Washington-based studios to the British Prime Minister’s office. During Joy-Ann Reid’s talk show TheReidOut, she put Nicki Minaj on blast which led to the two having a brief back-and-forth on social media. Though many have condemned both Joy-Ann Reid and Nicki for the dispute, Charlamagne Tha God appears to think that the talk show host missed the mark with her comments.

“I respect Joy-Ann Reid. She’s the homie but she missed a real moment to teach yesterday because Nicki never said ‘don’t take the vaccine’ but she also, in the very next tweet, said she will probably get vaccinated to go on tour. Joy could’ve used that moment on her show to correct Nicki on whatever misinformation she put out. She could’ve said, ‘Nicki Minaj is encouraging people to do their research about the vaccine,” Charlamagne said, noting that Nicki put up a poll to find out people’s preferred vaccine brand. 

“Nicki said Drake is vaccinated and she’s going to get vaccinated to go on tour. So if Drake’s vaccinated, and Nicki wants to get vaccinated, why aren’t you? That’s what Joy could’ve done,” he continued.
