GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion Link Up Once Again On The In-Your-Face ‘How I Look’

GloRilla’s hotly anticipated new album Glorious is out today (October 11), and the project sees her teaming up with buddy Megan Thee Stallion on “How I Look.” The hard-hitting track sees the two continuing to foster the collaborative energy they established on “Wanna Be” earlier this year.

Last month, Glo and Megan expressed interest in making a joint album. In an interview, Meg said, “I think that would be very fire. I ain’t gon’ say too much, but it feels like it’s going to get done.” Glo added, “Megan is a real rapper, and I’m also a real rapper. We actually be talking and coming with bars on some down South gangsta sh*t. [It would be] some down South, real turnt, real rap [sh*t].”

This comes after GloRilla admitting she wasn’t sure about Megan when they first met, saying, “I first met you at your Hottieween party last year, and I ain’t gonna lie, I was kinda shy. You were just acting like you weren’t drinking that night. I was like… in my head, I’m like, ‘This b*tch ain’t acting like she ain’t drinking,’ like, ‘What’s up with this b*tch?’”

Glorious is out now via CMG/Interscope. Find more information here.

Maryland-based musical maverick .idk. announced his upcoming album BRAVADO INTiMO, slated for release on November 1st, 2024. Following a series of chart-climbing hits, including “TiFFANY” featuring Gunna and “DENiM” featuring Joey Bada$$, the album promises to be one of .idk.’s most cohesive and accessible projects to date.

The 32-minute album will feature guest appearances from Gunna, Joey Bada$$, The ARTI$T, and Conway The Machine. With its sharp focus on conceptual clarity, BRAVADO INTiMO reflects .idk.’s goal of simplifying his sound, blending melodic vocals with his signature rapping.

“My goal with this album was to simplify everything,” .idk. shared. “I just wanted to sing over beats that artists like MF DOOM would normally rap over and only rap when it felt the most natural.” Drawing inspiration from his past collaborations with the late MF DOOM, .idk. creates a balance between bravado and vulnerability in this exploration of melodic rap.

BRAVADO INTiMO also includes the dual release 2:22 (“KiCKIN” + “TiFFANY”) and a Tiffany 2:22 Datejust Rolex Watch giveaway, highlighting .idk.’s innovative approach to his artistry. By fusing elements of soul, jazz, and hip-hop, the album captures the essence of hip-hop’s foundation while pushing boundaries with futuristic production.

.idk.’s latest work continues his streak of creative evolution, marking the album as a bold statement in the ever-changing landscape of modern rap.

Drake Continues to Tease Joint Album with PARTYNEXTDOOR: ‘CLA$$$IC’

image

Drake continues the hype train for his forthcoming album with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Hitting PND’s Instagram comments, Drake commented on an album tease with: “LOADED IN MY PHONE CLA$$$IC.”

Drake has provided an update on his collaboration album with PARTYNEXTDOOR. While on stage over the weekend, Drake stated: “Shoutout to my brother PX, album dropping soon.”

You can see the update below.

On Aug. 2, Drake and fellow OVO star PartyNextDoor originally announced that they have something up their sleeve. On stage, they announced that they would release a collaborative album later this year. Well, okay, that announcement was long overdue.

Get this: the announcement went down during PartyNextDoor’s concert on Friday in their hometown of Toronto. Naturally, Drake made a surprise appearance onstage and gave fans what they wanted to hear, performing hits and the news of the upcoming project.

Here’s a couple quotes from the 6 God … ”On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” Drake told the audience. “So, you get the summer over with, do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.” That part.

So check this out, the show was originally PartyNextDoor’s concert, but Drake being the tour de force that he is, treated the crowd to a nearly hour-long surprise set. As you can imagine most of the surprise set was a medley of Drizzy’s R&B-ish tracks from his chart topping catalog.

If you don’t know Party was the first signee to Drake’s OVO Sound label. The “Recognize” (feat. Drake) artist has collaborated a ton with Drake over the past decade on bonafide smashes like “Come and See Me” and “Loyal,” as well as on Drake’s album tracks like “Wednesday Night Interlude,” “Members Only,” and “With You.” However, this upcoming LP marks the first time the two artists have worked together on an entire album.

ICYMI, PartyNextDoor released his latest LP, “PartyNextDoor 4”, in April. Outside of his recent season of diss tracks and Camila Cabello guest spots, Drake last released “For All the Dogs” in 2023. Prior to that, Drake collaborated with 21 Savage on their album “Her Loss” in 2022.

We are waiting like the rest of ya’ll for this collab but keep that same energy when it drops in case you wasn’t rocking with Aubrey this summer. Just saying.
