5 Of The 8 Astroworld Festival Fatalities Have Been Identified: Report

Less than 48 hours after Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival was shut down for becoming a “mass-casualty incident,” investigators in Houston, Texas have begun sharing information about the victims that have been identified so far.

TMZ reports that five of the eight people who lost their lives at the show have been identified, either by family or the schools that they attended. 14-year-old John Hilgert, a freshman at Houston’s Memorial High School was the youngest to perish in the tragedy.

Brianna Rodriguez, a 16-year-old junior at Houston’s Heights High School, 21-year-old Franco Patino who attended the University of Dayton, 23-year-old Rudy Pena, and Danish Baig, a 27-year-old who aspired to become a U.S. Borden Patrol Agent, also passed away after their encounters at Astroworld.

The gossip site has also shared a photo of a male body that remains unidentified. The graphic image shows that the 6’2”, 498 lbs person must have been stepped on during the crowd surge that took place during Scott’s set on Friday evening. As we previously reported, the “MAFIA” artist has been facing plenty of backlash for continuing his show 37 minutes after officials declared it mass-casualty.

In a statement video posted to his Instagram story on Saturday night, the father of one alleged that he was unaware of how severe the situation in the crowd was while he continued the show. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, has asserted the same thing in her statement.

At this time, Houston PD is completing a through investigation, sharing that Live Nation has agreed to comply. Scott has also said that he’s working closely with authorities to help make things right. The city’s chief of police recently addressed theories that drug injection was another issue at the event, sharing that at least one security guard appeared to have been pricked in the neck with something.

Nike Kyrie 8 “Fire & Ice” Coming Soon: Official Photos

Kyrie Irving isn’t on the court right now for reasons that have already been well documented. With that being said, it should come as no surprise that Nike is still trotting out colorways of Kyrie’s brand new signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 8. This is a shoe that was a bit controversial at first as Irving deemed it “trash” on social media. Eventually, he went back on those words and he has been happy to rep the shoe, ever since.

The latest colorway to be shown off is this “Fire and Ice” model which can be found below. As you can see, the sneaker has your typical black and silver aesthetics, all while each shoe is mismatched with the trim. The left sneaker is blue up front and red in the back, while the right sneaker is the exact opposite. On the left shoe, there is a fire and ice logo on the tongue, which helps bring the entire thing together. Overall, it’s a pretty great model that long-time Kyrie fans will enjoy.

No release date has been made available, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world. In the meantime, let us know what you think, in the comments below.

Al B. Sure! Indirectly Alleges That Kim Porter May Have Been Murdered

Two years ago in 2019, the world of music gathered to mourn the tragic passing of actress, model, and mother of four children, Kim Porter. Porter had died of pneumonia. It was reported that she was sick with the “flu” before asking Diddy, the father of three of her children, to take care of the kids to ensure they didn’t get sick themselves. Three days later on November 15th, Porter died in her sleep from a lung infection.

In the direct aftermath of her passing, family, friends, and fans were left in shock, not knowing how a healthy woman could have suddenly died of pneumonia at just 47 years old. Many tributes posted to social media about her death paid love and respect to Diddy and Porter’s greater family.

“So devastating to be writing about such a young mom!” Xscape’s Tameka “Tiny” Cottle wrote on Instagram.

Lately, however, R&B singer Al B. Sure!— the father of Porter’s son Quincy Brown — is proposing the possibility of her death being the result of foul play, and not due to the complications of illness. The LA County Coroner of Medical Examination determined that Porter passed from “lobar pneumonia” and her death certified as being due to “natural causes.”

Sure! claimed that in the time leading up to Porter’s death, she was “running” from someone or something, and that he had told her — recounted in a now-deleted Instagram caption — to call the FBI. Only later did he add instead that she was running “a marathon”.

From there, he called for a reinvestigation of Porter’s death, which wouldn’t be the first time he has suggested to do so.

Though Sure! received thousands of comments in wake of the post and has since removed any mention of the FBI in the original caption, nothing has actually been confirmed.

Will Smith Says His “Heart Shattered” When 15-Year-Old Jaden Asked To Be Emancipated

Growing up in the spotlight is no easy feat – Jaden Smith learned this early in life. In his father’s new memoir, Will, the 53-year-old actor recalls how badly it hurt him when his then-15-year-old son approached him, asking for permission to become an emancipated minor.

In an excerpt of the forthcoming book obtained by PEOPLE, Will discusses the stress that plagued him and his son when their film, After Earth was attacked and ripped to shreds by the media. “After Earth was an abysmal box office and critical failure,” the father of three tells readers.

“And what was worse was that Jaden took the hit. Fans and the press were absolutely vicious; they said and printed things about Jaden that I refuse to repeat. Jaden had faithfully done everything that I’d instructed him to do, and I had coached him into the worst public mauling he’d ever experienced.”

The Bad Boys star went on to say that he and his youngest son never discussed the incident, but he knew that Jaden “felt betrayed and misled,” ultimately causing him to lose trust in his father. “At fifteen years old, when Jaden asked about being an emancipated minor, my heart shattered. He ultimately decided against it, but it sucks to feel like you’ve hurt your kids.”

Elsewhere in Will, the Philadelphia native recalls a time when he considered killing his own father for the abuse that he’d put Will’s mother through. “I paused at the top of the stairs. I could shove him down, and easily get away with it. I’m Will Smith. No one would ever believe I killed my father on purpose.”

He continued, “I’m one of the best actors in the world. My 911 call would be Academy Award level. As the decades of pain, anger, and resentment coursed then receded, I shook my head and proceeded to wheel Daddio to the bathroom.”

Look out for Will Smith’s memoir when it hits book stores on November 9th.

Blac Youngsta Spoils Himself On “Anythang”

It’s been a rather slow year for Blac Youngsta, at least, in comparison to 2020. In the thick of the pandemic, Youngsta pulled through for fans with the release of two projects — Fuck Everybody 3 and Code Red, his collaborative project with fellow CMG member Moneybagg Yo. This year, Blac Youngsta hasn’t dropped any new projects but Fuck Everybody finally arrived on streaming services.

That isn’t to say Blac Youngsta hasn’t dropped any new music this year. He’s delivered a few guest verses but solo releases have been scarce. That changed this weekend with the release of “Anythang.” The bouncy new record from the Memphis rapper combines his humor with animated flows over upbeat, bass-heavy production.

Check out the latest record from Blac Youngsta below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics
Loyalty is somethin’ you can’t buy
He’s somethin’ like a opp ’cause he finna die
I won’t hesitate, hit you with this fire
I’m still runnin’, duckin’ the FBI
Put me on the stand (Yeah)
I’m somethin’ like the truth ’cause I finna lie

Dana White Makes Big Money Thanks To Canelo Alvarez Win

Last night was a huge one for combat sports as we had UFC 268, as well as a fight between the likes of Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant. On the UFC side, Kamaru Usman retained his welterweight title with a win against Colby Covington, all while Canelo knocked out Plant in the 11th round of their matchup. Needless to say, if you were watching both events, you ended up getting your money’s worth.

After the UFC card, Dana White faced the media where he got to talk about everything that went down. At one point, White even admitted that he had bet some money on the Alvarez fight and that he won a lot in return as a result.

In a tweet from reporter Arash Markazi, it was revealed that White actually bet a whopping $100K on the fight, and in the end, he came out with $141K. This means White ended up winning $41K which is a pretty decent haul, even if this amount might just be chump change for a high roller like White. As you can see, the UFC President bet on Canelo to win via knockout, which is exactly what happened.

As the saying goes, the rich get richer. Perhaps next time, White will bet even more money on Canelo, as the fighter seems like a sure thing every time he steps in the ring.

Saweetie Says She Has Baby Fever, Nick Cannon Shoots His Shot

When he appeared on the Drink Champs podcast earlier this year, Nick Cannon told N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN that he’s currently celibate. “Imma see if I can make it to 2022” the father of seven shared. From the looks of his Twitter account, he may not last much longer.

On Saturday, November 6th, “1 of 1” rapper Saweetie tweeted, “I want some babies,” and didn’t take long for Cannon to swoop in with a trail of emojis, seemingly shooting his shot with the 28-year-old, who previously dated Quavo of the Migos before an explosive break-up a few months back.

A ninja, a thinking face, a laughing face, and a man with his hands up were among the signs that the comedian sent to his new prospect, who has yet to respond to his antics.

Saweetie may have curved him (for now), but fans didn’t hesitate to give their take on Cannon’s tweets. “Man, I know you lying, man,” a video one person posted says. Another person screenshotted an old post from Demi Lovato that reads, “GET A JOB. STAY AWAY FROM HER.”

Cannon’s seven children come from four baby mamas – Mariah Carey, Alyssa Scott, Brittany Bell, and Abby De La Rosa. In September, we reported that the 41-year-old’s therapist suggested that he try celibacy on for size after fathering four kids in less than a year.

The California native’s episode of Drink Champs was released in early October, but it remains unclear if he’s been participating in No Nut November. You can listen to the full interview below.

Desiigner Plots Revenge On “Get Back”

The past few years of Desiigner’s career have largely centered around his issues with his former label, G.O.O.D Music. He’s aired out his grievances surrounding the Kanye West-led label, especially since it was hindering the release of new music. He was eventually released and has been dropping a slew of new music in anticipation of making a major comeback.

Over the course of the past few months, Desiigner’s shared a bunch of singles like “GLE” and “I Get That” before dropping off his latest 3-song EP, 3 THE HARD WAY. This week, the rapper dropped off his latest single, “Get Back.” Tackling electrifying production with sing-rap inflection, the rapper delivers braggadocious bars detailing his drip and status.

Check out the latest from Desiigner below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Them n***as stepping, I’m drippin’ in Prada
I hate when they talkin’ and don’t got no dollars
Just for that dollar, my brody will pop ya

‘SNL’ Emulates Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, And More With Help From Ed Sheeran In Their ‘Dionne Warwick Talk Show’ Sketch

Ed Sheeran stopped by Saturday Night Live for a pair of performances on the late-night show, to celebrate the release of his fourth album =. After he tested positive for coronavirus, many worried that would be unable to perform. Luckily, that was not the case, as he delivered performances of “Shivers” and “Overpass Graffiti.” He also appeared in a sketch for SNL’s edition of The Dionne Warwick Talk Show, with Ego Nwodim as the legendary singer.

The sketch began with Chloe Fineman, who played Miley Cyrus, sitting across from Nwodim. Kieran Culkin, who appeared as Jason Mraz and hosted the episode, and Pete Davidson, who appeared as Post Malone, also sat down on the talk show. But Nwodim’s Warwick seemed to be bored by the guests and said, “I’m sick and tired of interviewing people who aren’t icons.” She then welcomed the real Dionne Warwick onto the show.

“Let me ask you something,” Nwodim says after Warwick takes a seat. “Dionne, why are you perfect?” The 80-year-old singer replied, “My darling, I’m not perfect. I’m just very, very good.” The duo then sang a duet of Warwick’s 1966 track “What The World Needs Now Is Love.”

Warwick thanked SNL for inviting her to the show afterward.

“I had fun at @nbcsnl,” she tweeted. “Thank you to @eggy_boom (ME [laughing emoji]), @Punkiejohnson (as @BrittaniWarrick), and to the writers, cast, and crew. I had a wonderful time with you all.”

You can watch the sketch in the video above.

Travis Scott Faces Backlash For Continuing Astroworld Festival 37 Minutes Into Its Tragic Downfall

Those who attended Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival on Friday expected to have a wild time, but not this wild. As we’ve previously reported, eight of the over 50,000 patrons at the event were killed, and over 300 were injured when a crowd surge took place.

According to HipHopDX, Scott’s set, the penultimate show of the evening, began around 9:04 PM Houston time. By 9:38 PM, emergency personnel had declared the festival a “mass-casualty incident” after responding with approximately 55 units who began performing CPR upon arrival.

While medical personnel did arrive on scene eventually, there have been reports from attendees who said that they spent their night performing CPR on multiple people. Videos have also surfaced online showing a woman and a man rushing one of the camera men, hoping to get his attention so he might stop the show and prevent more deaths from occurring – reports say this happened around 10 PM.

“There is somebody dead in there! There is someone dead,” she can be heard screaming. The woman has since been identified is Seanna Faith, and has shared a heartbreaking account of the trauma she endured while attending Astroworld Festival.

At one point during his set, Scott took notice of an ambulance with its lights on, making its way through the crowd. “What the fuck is that?” he asked, before checking in with audiences by saying, “If everybody good, put a middle finger up to the sky!” A large portion of the audience were not good, but that message obviously didn’t get relayed to the rapper, who launched into a performance of “UPPER ECHELON” that saw two of his friends hop off the stage to crowd surf.

Scott has spoken out about the tragedy that occurred twice – once in a Twitter statement written in his notes app, and again last night, on his Instagram story. “I want to send out prayers to the ones that was lost last night,” the 30-year-old said, rubbing his face in obvious distress.

“We’re actually working right now to identify the families, so we can help a system though this tough time. My fans really mean the world to me, and I always wanna leave them with a positive experience and anytime I can make out anything that’s going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need, you know? I could just never imagine the severity of the situation.”

The “Ok Alright” artist then shared that he’s fully cooperating with Houston PD and everyone else involved to make things right and help further the investigation. His video has gotten plenty of reaction from fans online, many of whom are expressing outrage.
