Stephen A. Smith Roasts The Cowboys After Horrible Loss To Broncos

Dak Prescott returned to the field for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and considering the fact that they were playing the Denver Broncos, there was this belief that they would win with ease and therefore extend their winning streak to seven games. In the end, however, the exact opposite happened as the Cowboys were terrible for three and a half quarters.

At one point, they were down by a score of 30-0 although they were able to mount a too little too late comeback, bringing the final score to 30-16. This result put a huge smile on the face of Stephen A. Smith, who has prided himself over the years on being one of the biggest haters the Cowboys could ever have.

After yesterday’s loss, Smith took to his Twitter account where he made sure to taunt the Cowboys and their supporters for what happened. He looked at the camera with a big smile on his face and essentially tried to humble their fanbase. In a separate post, Smith revealed that he was wearing a cowboy hat on First Take as a way to terrorize Michael Irving, who is the biggest Cowboys advocate over at ESPN.

Smith is always at his best after the Cowboys lose, and last night certainly proved that. Despite this, however, the team is 6-2, and they still have a long way to go before Smith can feel vindicated for his hatred.

Kenny Smith Addresses Zion Williamson’s Weight Issues: “It’s Not Hard, Eat Less”

As Zion Williamson continues to work his way back into playing condition, people have their concerns about his weight gain. Among those concerned is former NBA player and now pundit Kenny Smith.

In a video captured by TMZ in Los Angeles, Kenny “The Jet” Smith spoke about how Williamson’s passion should outweigh his desires to eat: “It’s not hard when it’s your profession. He puts the hours in to become a great basketball player, he’ll figure out those hours that he needs to keep his body right. It’s a commitment. It’s not hard, eat less. It’s not hard at all.”

While Smith feels that Zion should be able to weather this storm, Twitter has begun ridiculing Zion for his sudden weight gain.

The NBA season began on Oct. 19, as Zion’s New Orleans Pelicans are tied with the league’s worst record with one win and nine losses. Williamson has not played in any games this year, since he is rehabbing from summer foot surgery. When asked about his status on Nov. 1, head coach Willie Green said he was still weeks away from returning.

Much of the Pelicans’ future rides on Williamson’s availability and production when he does play, so once his foot is healthy enough to return, his weight could still be a major issue. It is unknown at the moment whether or not he or the Pelicans have taken any action to address his weight.

Offset & His Team Involved In Fist Fight At ComplexCon: Watch

Offset made an appearance at ComplexCon 2021 this weekend, but it didn’t go as seamlessly as he had probably hoped. Just outside of the No Jumper booth, the Migos rapper was involved in a fistfight as members of his entourage appeared to jump a man.

The rapper was spotted wearing a red jacket with matching sneakers, walking toward somebody on his team when things got ugly. A member of Offset’s entourage seemingly threw punches at somebody, and the rapper rushed after them along with other people on his team. The altercation lasted less than a minute before Offset walked back toward the No Jumper booth.

There isn’t a very clear video of what exactly happened or what may have prompted the fight, but it doesn’t look as though the rapper personally threw any punches for now.

Offset, and the other members of Migos, have an extensive history of fighting in public. Offset has been accused in the past of beating up Lil Uzi Vert, and the three-man group allegedly laid hands on Justin LaBoy this year. Set has also had issues with Chris Brown over the years.

Watch a video of Offset’s crew getting into an altercation at ComplexCon below. What do you think triggered this?

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Goes In On Aaron Rodgers & Henry Ruggs III

There have been some big athlete controversies as of late, although many of them have varying degrees of seriousness. For instance, you have Henry Ruggs III killing a woman in a car accident, which would be on the extreme side of the spectrum. From there, you have Aaron Rodgers lying about taking the COVID-19 vaccine, all while Kyrie Irving has refused the vaccine outright. Of course, the latter examples are not nearly as serious as what Ruggs did, although they are worth examining.

Well, that is exactly what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did on his Substack recently. As Kareem explains, athletes are constantly being given massive sponsorships at that the market is in the billions of dollars. However, if athletes continue to be untrustworthy and mess up, then those sponsorships could evaporate for the next generation.

Per Kareem:

“What’s especially bothersome is that Aaron Rodgers didn’t just lie and threaten the health of those around him, he also damaged professional sports. Many athletes make a lot of money on product endorsements, which depends on the public’s favorable perception of athletes. In 2020, global sports sponsorship was worth about $57 billion. Yet, every time a pro athlete like Kyrie Irving (anti-vax), Henry Ruggs (speeding at 156 mph, crashing, and killing someone), Evander Kane (forging vaccination card), or Aaron Rodgers does or says something stupid, the public trust in athletes lowers and sponsors might consider avoiding players in favor of actors, pop stars, or social media influencers. Steph Curry and LeBron James don’t have to worry, but some up-and-comers might not get the same opportunities.”

It is certainly an interesting argument to make, although it remains to be seen if his hypothesis will come true. After all, these are just a few examples, and there is no denying that athletes can help sell products better than most celebrities can.

Lil Baby Previews New Music In IG Snippet

Lil Baby has been on an impressive run for quite a while now.

After officially arriving on the scene in 2018 (with the help of a Drake stimulus package), the Atlanta rapper has ascended into the upper echelons of the rap game. Lil Baby rarely misses, and after a year that saw two appearances on Drake records and a full-length collaboration with 2021’s hottest rapper, Lil Durk, it’s become clear that his spot is cemented.

But we’re closing in on two years without a new Lil Baby album. And in an era when artists are expected to drop new music the second kids get bored with the old music, two years feels like an eternity.

Paras Griffin/Getty Images

Fortunately for Lil Baby fans, it seems like new music is on the way.

In a recent IG video posted by DJ Akademiks, we are blessed with a snippet of what sounds like some brand-new Lil Baby.

Rocking a Louis Vuitton jacket and tee, and more ice than is in Antarctica, Baby spits along with his new record. And over some bass-heavy trap production, the 26-year-old shows his appreciation for the way he came up.

“You see how we walked in, you can see we run stuff,” Baby raps. “I gotta think out the box, I hate being bunched up, glad that I been through a lot, it made me a monster.”

While the IG snippet does sound similar to the majority of his discography, the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” easily applies. Lil Baby hasn’t missed since 2017 and it doesn’t sound like he’s about to start now. Whether this specific record ever sees the light of day is yet to be seen, but if this is the type of time Baby is on, it’s almost certain whatever he drops next will be some heat.

What do you think of this new Lil Baby snippet? Let us know in the comments.

Travis Scott And Drake Are Being Sued Over The Astroworld Festival Deaths

What was supposed to be a joyous event turned into a tragedy over the weekend as eight people died during a crowd surge at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival on Friday, November 5. Now, Scott is facing multiple lawsuits over the event and Drake is a defendant in one of them.

As previously reported, Astroworld attendee Manuel Souza is suing Scott, Live Nation, and organizer ScoreMore. The lawsuit claims the incident was the result of “a motivation for profit at the expense of concertgoers’ health and safety” and the “encouragement of violence.” It also calls the situation a “predictable and preventable tragedy.”

Souza’s attorney, Steve Kherkher of Kherkher Garcia LLP, wrote, “Defendants failed to properly plan and conduct the concert in a safe manner. Instead, they consciously ignored the extreme risks of harm to concertgoers, and, in some cases actively encouraged and fomented dangerous behaviors.”

Furthermore, NME reports that another suit was filed by Texas-based attorney Thomas J. Henry, on behalf of an unnamed Astroworld attendee. Listed as co-defendants are Scott, Drake, Live Nation, and NRG Stadium, and a press release from Henry’s law firm alleges the surge happened when Drake made a surprise appearance on stage.

“There is no excuse for the events that unfolded at NRG stadium on Friday night,” Henry said in a statement. “There is every indication that the performers, organizers, and venue were not only aware of the hectic crowd but also that injuries and potential deaths may have occurred. Still, they decided to put profits over their attendees and allowed the deadly show to go on.”

Beyond that, there’s yet another lawsuit, filed by civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump on behalf of Astroworld attendee Noah Gutierrez, who claims to have offered assistance to crowd members in need in the VIP section.

Crump wrote in a statement, “We are hearing horrific accounts of the terror and helplessness people experienced — the horror of a crushing crowd and the awful trauma of watching people die while trying unsuccessfully to save them. We will be pursuing justice for all our clients who were harmed in this tragic and preventable event.”

The statement also notes that Crump expects to file more lawsuits on behalf of other victims in the coming days, so it appears Scott’s plate is full when it comes to legal trouble.

Blueface Hit With Arrest Warrant For Assaulting Bouncer

The ongoing saga of Blueface’s assault has been taken to the next step. In mid September, the Los Angeles rapper was seen on camera roughing up a bouncer at a bar near his hometown. He is now facing the repercussions of that attack.

Blueface and two other accomplices from the video have now been issued arrest warrants, charged with felony assault and felony robbery.

The alleged assault was fueled by a bouncer in San Fernando Valley not allowing Blueface entrance into a bar named Skinny’s Lounge. Blueface did not have any form of identification on him, but tried to use a photo of himself on Google to prove to the bouncer his age and status. When the bouncer told him that was not adequate, Blueface and his crew assaulted him, which was caught on the bar’s security camera.

They were seen beating, punching and kicking the bouncer until he did not get back up. The man sought medical attention for his several bruises and scratches, and eventually an ambulance arrived on the scene.

The robbery charge comes from a member of Blueface’s crew allegedly stealing one of the bouncer’s chains. Blueface was quick to issue a supposed response in the following days, in a now-deleted Instagram post captioned: “You need people like me to point the finger at an[d] say that’s the bad guy –Scarface.”

Blueface’s actions have come back to haunt him, as he and his accomplices are facing serious charges and are actively wanted by police. It is unknown at the moment if Blueface will surrender to the authorities or not, but it is hard to imagine this ends well for him.

Beanie Sigel Says Kanye West Owes Him $50M & 5% Stock In Yeezy

Kanye West’s recent appearance on DJ EFN and N.O.R.E.’s YouTube Show, Drink Champsmade major internet waves over the weekend.

In a two-and-a-half hour interview, Ye took addressed every elephant in the room. Speaking on everything from his bizarre new haircut to his beef with Drake to his divorce from Kim Kardashian, the artist formerly known as Mr. West cast a wide umbrella.

While Ye’s proclamation that signing Big Sean to G.O.O.D. Music was the worst thing he ever did received the lion’s share of attention following the interview, the 44-year-old did touch on his Roc-A-Fella Records days, and revealed who coined his iconic “Yeezy” nickname.

Explaining that he always received nicknames from the groups he was around, Ye said that Beanie Sigel was the first to call him Yeezy.

“People who took a liking to me in volatile situations, would always give me a nickname, so it seemed like I was cool like them,” Ye said. “(Yeezy) was Beanie’s name for me when I was at Baseline. On some like ‘That’s Yeezy’ … make him one of us. He let me wear his State Property chain. He really just embraced me.”

Along with the explanation of where “Yeezy” came from, Ye said that he’s been trying to compensate Sigel for coming up with the name that has become a billion dollar brand.

“I still owe Beanie money, and I been trying to give him this money for a minute,” he told DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. “I been trying to give it to him … this man made up the name. It’s like, you know, the lady who made the Nike Swoosh. Phil Knight went back and made sure she was straight.”

During a weekend appearance at a club in his hometown of Philadelphia, Sigel revealed just how much money Ye has been trying to give to him.

“I got a call from the motherf*cker the other day, Kanye West, he said ‘Sig I owe you $50M and 5% stock in Yeezy,'” Beanie told the onlooking crowd.

Sigel continued on to explain that Ye’s Yeezy brand did $1.7 billion in sales in 2020, and while he didn’t reveal exactly how much that 5% stock is worth right now, it is certainly an impressive chunk of money. And combined with the flat $50M that Ye says he owes him, it looks like Sigel is in for a massive payday.

Keep it locked to HNHH for any updates on when Sigel gets paid and, in the meantime, let us know what you think of Ye saying he owes Beanie for coming up with his Yeezy nickname down in the comments.
