Jack Harlow On Kanye West: “I Am Always Fascinated To See What He Does Next”

It’s no secret that Kanye West has been raising plenty of eyebrows this year. The rapper, who now legally goes by Ye, is in the midst of a divorce from Kim Kardashian West, and has been seen regularly wearing questionable outfits pretty much everywhere he goes.

While performing at the wedding of Tiffany EVP Alexandre Arnault, the rapper wore a Balenciaga face mask that made the show pretty much unintelligible. On the bright side, the father of four recently found massive success with the help of Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s track “INDUSTRY BABY.” During a recent interview with British GQ, the latter was asked for his opinion on West’s antics.

“I think he sees himself as Mozart or Beethoven. I think he’s worried, not about what it looks like now but what it will look like in 100 years.”

The “Way Out” rapper then went on to reference the infamous Taylor Swift situation, when Ye interrupted the country/pop star’s acceptance speech back in 2009. “At the time it was all pitchforks, but now people treat that as iconic,” he told British GQ.

“I am always fascinated to see what he does next. This Donda roll-out, people are going to remember that for years.”

During his interview, Harlow also touched on what it’s like to be a white rapper in 2021. “I don’t try to lean into the, ‘Hey, I’m the white boy.’ I try not to make it a novelty. I rap from the heart, rather than trying to do a white version of the art form.”

Big Sean Is Blanketed In Real Bees For “What A Life” Music Video

Last night, Big Sean announced today’s drop of the single and video for  “What A Life” featuring Grammy award-winning producer Hit-Boy, a striking, hard-hitting ode to their blessings and accomplishments as longtime hustlers. The visual was quickly teased shortly after the song’s midnight release; in an Instagram post showcasing a photo from the music video set, Big Sean is blanketed under a sheet of thousands of bees. Fans, as well as his fellow artists, are convinced that the “I Don’t F*ck With You” rapper has gone crazy, at least according to his comment section.

“In the song I said 100 B’s, but it was really 65,000 bees on me,” Sean says in the caption, spelling out the play on words from one of the song’s lines. “This not photoshopped either,” he added for good measure.

The show-stopping image is reminiscent of the ‘90’s film Candyman, as a few celebs pointed out— among them, Lil Yachty and Marlon Wayans— just in time for Halloween, too. Like the film, Sean used real bees in his video, forgoing CGI and extensive editing. “Love to the bee hive,” Sean’s clarified in his IG post. “I just ain’t want y’all to think it was some damn effects or some sh*t.”

The rest of the music video for “What A Life” is fast-paced, feature film-like patchwork, featuring scenes of Big Sean levitating Chronicle-style, running from hordes of bachelorettes, and performing afront an adoring crowd. “What A Life” is Big Sean’s first official track of the year since releasing his project and fifth studio albumDetroit 2 in the fall of 2020. It’s a hard-hitting follow-up to the Hit-Boy collaborations he’s been racking up over the last year, including on Babyface Ray’s “It Ain’t My Fault” and Freddie Gibbs’ “4 Thangs”

Check out the official music video below, and let us know what you think of Sean Don’s new anthem.

21 Savage Shows Off NSFW Birthday Cake, Fans Think He Hit The Latto

21 Savage might have hit the Latto on his twenty-ninth birthday, showing off his raunchy birthday cake, which many fans think was custom-ordered by none other than the Atlanta-based “Big Energy” rapper.

Since the beginning of this year, gossip lovers and music fans have been trying to figure out who Latto’s mystery man is. She started gushing about him months ago but never revealed him to the world, so everyone has been digging for clues. While she previously denied dating 21 Savage, the two have been wrapped in romance rumors for a while now, and every time they hint at something happening between them — and even when they don’t — people link them together. After Savage showed off his birthday cake today, fans noted that they were convinced it was made by Latto.

“Lemme s*ck that d*ck,” says the cake, which is in the shape of a heart. Whoever was commissioned to make this cake had to have been laughing when they were designing it, and it’s left people wondering who exactly is delivering the message.

“OKAY BIG LATTTOO,” wrote one person in the comments of The Shade Room’s post. “Not being funny but that’s something Latto would say,” joked another. “Lmfaooo big latto fasho,” said another fan, racking up over a thousand likes.

It’s worth noting that, while Latto has not publicly wished 21 Savage a happy birthday, her most recent post quotes Cardi B’s lyrics from their song “Bartier Cardi” together. Coincidence?

Check out the cake footage below and let us know if you think Latto had this made for 21?

Mick Jenkins Drops Off “Scottie Pippen” Ahead Of New Album, “Elephant In The Room”

Just one week ahead of his forthcoming albumElephant In The Room, rapper Mick Jenkins has blessed us with a new single, “Scottie Pippen.”

Where most rappers have chosen to reference the leader of the 1990s Chicago Bulls, Pippen’s teammate and arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan, Jenkins pays homage to the best #2 in NBA history.

With quick strings and perfectly slowed drums driving an eery instrumental, Jenkins juggles the emotions of trying to get through life alone, and the impossible task of reaching the mountaintop without any help.

“I was trippin’,” Jenkins croons. “No matter how I shoot, I’ll never win it all // On my own, without you.”

Bouncing between a laid-back but matter-of-fact sung chorus and verses that cut through the song’s foggy instrumental, Jenkins comes through with a poignant record pointing to the importance of having somebody ready to ride or die in your corner. Despite the walls between Jenkins and his “Scottie Pippen,” the Chicago rapper never loses sight of the role they play in his life and paints a perfect picture of those complicated dynamics from start to finish.

Quotable Lyrics
That’s not to say we didn’t roll a dice over here
Scratchin’ our head, it wasn’t no lice
Just real life committed to her, all of her vices would clear
She committed to me despite the advices we heard
We thought it was sweet, it’s not over wives over here
Feel like a mail bird, a pepper dice for a year
Still we throwin’ rights over here
We both have walls up so high
Reachin’ new heights over here

Domani Reviews Snacks From Around The World

Domani is fresh off the release of his new album SKYDIVE, and during a recent trip to Los Angeles, the rapper stopped by our office for the latest episode of Snack Review

Watching what he puts in his body, Domani notes in the two-part episode that he just recently started eating salmon again, but he limits his dairy and meat intake. He says he started being more conscious about what food he eats when he turned fourteen, cutting off fast food options when he has the choice. His daily diet consists of lots of veggies and other clean choices, but Domani reveals that his favorite restaurant is a spot in Atlanta, which serves vegan food, tacos, and more.

During his latest interview with us, Domani reviewed a bunch of snacks from around the world before answering questions about his favorite meals, restaurants, and more. He also revealed that if he were to start his own food truck, he would make a vegan, plant-based spot that’s open during late hours, pointing out that the healthy vegan places are never open too late into the night.

Learn more about Domani and his food preferences in the two videos above and below, and make sure to check out his new album here.

New “Red Notice” Trailer Shows Dwayne Johnson & Ryan Reynolds On The Hunt For Gal Gadot

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been a busy man lately. Not only did the 49-year-old introduce his new “brutal” and “uncompromising” DC Comics character, Black Adam and make his rap debut on Tech N9ne’s latest album,  he also unveiled a new trailer for his upcoming Netflix original film, Red Notice.

The action/thriller/comedy sees The Rock take on the role of John Hartley, the FBI’s top profiler, who finds himself in an unlikely partnership with the world’s greatest art thief, Nolan Booth (played by Canadian icon Ryan Reynolds). The reason for “the marriage of necessity,” as John refers to it as in the trailer, is so he can capture the world’s most wanted art thief (played by Gal Gadot).

“She’s gonna steal Cleopatra’s eggs – they’re priceless,” the FBI agent explains to Booth. “If we capture her together, I can clear my name, and I’ll help you become the number one thief in the world again.”

An initial teaser trailer for the film dropped nine months ago, so with this new update, fans of the stars are anxiously awaiting Red Notice’s premiere in November. The three minute and six second long clip is packed with Johnson showcasing plenty of action, great comedic timing from Reynolds, and villainous but sultry energy from Gadot.

The upcoming movie also stars Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley) and Ritu Arya (The Umbrella Academy), and was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who’s best known for films like We’re the Millers and DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story.

Red Notice will hit the streamer on Friday, November 12th. Check out the trailer for the Netflix original above.

Air Jordan 1 Low “Psychic Purple” Set To Release Soon: Photos

The newest Air Jordan 1 Low upcoming release is here, as the new “Psychic Purple” colorway is on pace to launch in select retailers, soon. The iconic Jordan 1 and its increasingly popular Low style have taken the sneaker community by storm and this latest drop figures to do the same.

The leather-based “Psychic Purple” centralizes the focus of the shoe’s colorway, as the distinctly colored, leather overlays stretch across and around the toe to the back of the heel, balanced by a sharp white that makes up the vibrant color pattern of the Jordan 1 Low. Additional details include the Nike “Wings” logo concept in white across the heel, along with ‘psychic’ purple on the shoe’s laces and underneath, on the outsole. A purple “Jumpman” logo can be found atop the shoe’s white tongue, along with the standard 23 branding.

Although the “Psychic Purple” colorway is listed specifically as a women’s retro sneaker, similar to the comparably popular Nike Dunks, these Jordan Lows will likely be worn by all sexes, not limited to women.

Nike.com has yet to provide an official release date for the “Psychic Purple” Jordan 1 Lows, but be sure to check back in with HNHH for latest updates surrounding the sneaker’s eventual release, estimated to drop sometime later this year.

Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red” For Women Coming In 2022: First Look

One of the best sneakers to ever grace the market is the Air Jordan 1 High OG. It made its big debut back in 1985 and since that time, sneakerheads have been blessed with a plethora of dope colorways that showcase just how great this shoe truly is. Fans simply cannot get enough of these, and every single year, you can expect Jumpman to come through with some brand new models. In fact, there have been plenty of teasers for 2022, and while most colorways have been for men, there are now some women’s colorways getting love.

As you can see in the post below from @zsneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be dropping in a lovely “Varsity Red” model that is exclusively for women. The shoe looks like a Mid, although it only appears that way because of the smaller sizing. As for the colorway itself, we have a white base, grey cuff, and red overlays that give off some very obvious and iconic Chicago Bulls vibes.

For now, it is rumored that these will be dropping on February 4th of next year, although this has yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand. Stay tuned to HNHH, as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates on this shoe. As always, tell us what you think, in the comments below.

Fetty Wap Reminisces About A Time Before The Fame On “Mona Lisa”

When Fetty Wap exploded onto the scene back in 2015, a lot of his music sounded the same. (Which wasn’t a bad thing.)

Despite the commercial success of “Trap Queen,” “679,” “Again” and a handful of other records off his self-titled, Fetty Wap, every track seemingly paid homage to, or shared common threads with each of the New Jersey rapper’s most successful songs.

Six years later, and it’s a whole different story.

Returning to the mainstream with his new albumButterfly Effect, Fetty Wap is back with a whole new sound, and on an album without a single feature, the 30-year-old hitmaker tasked himself with carrying an entire project on his back.

On “Mona Lisa,” Fetty reminisces on a time before the fame, when he didn’t have the “house or the pool,” but he did have his loving partner by his side. Rapping over a subdued instrumental, Fetty spits in a tone closer to his speaking voice than the sound that landed him four top-ten Billboard Hot 100 hits.

Butterfly Effect tells the story of Fetty’s maturation from a mid-20s rap star into the man he has become today, and in showing appreciation for the woman who held him down when he didn’t have the fame and fortune, “Mona Lisa” might the best example of that transformation.

Quotable Lyrics
When I die, they gon’ bury me under the city
Just make sure, when I go, that you’re f*ckin’ with me
My baby is a shooter got a hand on the blicky
She know I’m a legend ain’t no n***a f*ckin with me
