Van Lathan Trolls Kanye West With Pete Davidson Photo

For Kid Cudi’s birthday dinner in 2019, the rapper went to a restaurant with an eclectic group of guys, including Kanye West, Timothée Chalamet, and Pete Davidson. At the end of the night, Davidson allegedly picked up the tab for everyone, and he later complained that the dinner was very expensive because Kanye had ordered a little bit of everything for the table. As Kanye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian moves on from her marriage by dating Pete Davidson, many have joked that this is Pete’s way of getting back at Kanye for making him pay that one night, and now Van Lathan is making jokes about that night too.

Sharing a picture of Kanye enjoying dinner with Timothée, Cudi, and Pete, Van Lathan joked in his caption about the situation that played out two years later.

“Just remember, one man’s Turkey sandwich is the next man’s Turkey dinner,” wrote Van.

Some people, including Rich The Kid, Nia Riley, and Bun B, are all laughing at the post. Others are saying that it was made in bad taste.

“Not cool today Van,” responded Deray Davis.

This comes following Kanye’s Thanksgiving prayer, which he shared on Thursday night, admitting that he wants to get back together with his wife and opening up about his struggles with alcoholism, mental health, and more

Do you think Van made an innocent joke, or was this a line crossed?

Ye Gets Vulnerable About Marriage, Politics, Alcohol, And More In His Lengthy ‘Thanksgiving Prayer’

While many of us celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday by getting together with family and/or friends, Ye spent his Turkey Day sharing his “Thanksgiving Prayer,” a five-minute video in which the rapper speaks about what he’s thankful for, as well as his shortcomings.

A significant portion of the spoken-word piece (backed by some Sunday Service gospel music) is dedicated to family. The artist formerly known as Kanye West says, “All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused.” He later discusses the impact his politics had on his family: “Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance and that was hard for our marriage. Then I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way that I presented information about our family during the one and, thank God, only press conference.”

Elsewhere, he discusses his mental health, alcohol issues, and more, so watch the video above and find a full transcript of it below.

“Boom, boom, boom. Westside. Kanye West. Conway West Side. You never noticed that, did you?

The uh… Hello, my name is Ye and this is my super, super, super, super, super long Thanksgiving Prayer.

On this Thanksgiving, I’m so thankful for family, my blood family, my fans, and our haters. We love you, too. On Thanksgiving, on Christmas morning, not the night before or the day, just the morning.

We’re thankful for our current civilization of 8 billion people, our ancestors, and our children. I’m writing this prayer on my way back from taking my Mini Me to his first football game. Saint got to play catch with Tom Brady before the game. This is a God’s dream.

My Mini Me is a mix of two of my favorite things: Me and my wife’s face. All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused.

I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: Misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.

Let’s start with A: alcohol. I would drink to take the stress away, to knock the edge off. Drinking affected my health and the health of people around… around me, because I already had a hair-trigger temper and this just heightened it.

B: episodes. I went into a manic episode in 2016 and I was placed under heavy medication. Since then, I went on and off the medication, which left me susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure.

Ego. My ego has a tendency to go past the threshold of being motivating and entertaining to just being overbearing. There are ways to show confidence without arrogance.

Temper. Now I know, none of y’all would ever picture this, but sometimes I scream. And that screaming might have helped me tell off everyone who doubted me in music, but that screaming did not help me keep my family together.

Religion. Self-righteous Christian behavior. When I got saved, it did not immediately make me a better person. It made me a self-righteous Christian. Mix that with being rich, famous, and very, very, very, very, very attractive and you got a Molotov cocktail ready to be thrown through the window of anyone who ever disagreed with me. I was arrogant with my Jesus, like I just got me some Jesus at the Gucci store with a stimulus check.

Let’s go with politics here. Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance and that was hard for our marriage. Then I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way that I presented information about our family during the one and, thank God, only press conference. All my dad had to say afterwards was, ‘Write your speech next time, son.’

F is for finances. I spent money like crazy. I mean, it’s the craziest thing I’ve done, and I’ve done a lot of crazy things. As the priest of my home, I must watch my own money and secure our finances. This is America, so people don’t consider stealing to be stealing. They just chalked it up to greed, consumerism, and capitalism.

I’ve let people use me. I’ve had giant entourages. People around me just to make me feel good about myself. I’ve had to learn that I have to take accountability. We always judge and tell other people what they should do, but we can only take accountability for ourselves and our children.

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the family that my wife has given me, I’m thankful for the life that God has given me, and I’m thankful for your time, attention, and patience. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Kota the Friend Shares Thanksgiving Anthem, “Grateful”

In case you’ve forgotten, Kota the Friend has dropped off a new single reminding you to be “Grateful.” The 29-year-old’s latest release was accompanied by a music video showcasing some of the parts of his life that he’s most thankful for.

He sets the scene in the first verse, rapping, “Out in Colorado, hit the lotto (One take) / Got a cabin in the middle of the mountains / Shit, I feel like I’m the mayor now / Used to sip on bottle after bottle / I was drowning (Woo), get the goggles (Let’s go, come on) / Now I’m rooted in the present, what you sayin’ now?”

As the track continues, Kota tells listeners that nothing can break his spirit, and that he’ll continue to be great regardless if the cards he’s handed are filled with hate or love. The New Yorker also made an effort to make his lyrics inclusive to everyone, singing, “Thank you, Jesus, Buddha, Jah, or Allah / Please insert whatever you believe in / Celebratin’ this abundant season,” on the chorus.

The new single follows his March album, To Kill A Sunrise, as well as songs like “Face It,” “Show You,” “Scapegoat,” “Needs,” and “‘96 Bulls.” Check it out below and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics:

I’ma be great when you showin’ me love
I’ma be great when you throwin’ me hate
I’ma be great even when I am done
You got another thing coming if you think I’ma break

Kim Kardashian & North West Make TikToks To Songs By Ye, Playboi Carti, Adele & More

Following in the footsteps of Kourtney Kardashian and her daughter Penelope Disick, earlier today Kim Kardashian and her oldest daughter North West launched a joint TikTok account together, @kimandnorth.

The duo’s first video showed off a spa day, featuring plenty of Kylie Skin products showcased over Doja Cat’s “Need to Know.” Other clips revealed their Thanksgiving decorations, golf cart ride adventures, some Yeezy and Balenciaga drip, and of course, their take on some popular TikTok dances.

One of the trendiest songs on the app right now is Coi Leray’s “TWINNEM,” which North and her mom can be seen singing and dancing along to in one of their many posts from today. “We killin’ ‘em, no new friends/Get rid of ‘em” they can be seen mouthing to the camera.

The comment section is filled with people who are happy to see the West’s first-born make her way onto the app, as well as plenty of others who are begging her to make a video with her dad, Ye. While the “Jesus Walks” hitmaker may not have made an appearance on North’s TikTok just yet, he did have a Thanksgiving message of his own, which he posted to Instagram.

“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused. I take accountability for my actions,” the rapper told his followers. “Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance, and that was hard for our marriage.”

Elsewhere on their profile, North and Kim shared an adorable dance to Adele’s hit single, “Easy On Me.” See the video below.

Kash Doll Shares New Ultrasound Footage, Admits She’s 32 Years Old

Kash Doll is clearly giddy with excitement over her pregnancy. The “Ice Me Out” rapper recently celebrated with a Detroit Pistons themed baby shower, and on Thanksgiving, she even shared some footage of her baby boy from an ultrasound with fans on Instagram.

“I’m so thankful for my bad Butt! Look he bad already this was at 3 months y’all. This how I knew he was a boy. And yes that’s my real age” she captioned the video, which shows the fetus squirming around in her tummy. “Look at him moving! Look at that little boy! Whatchu doing? You better stop! He’s like, ‘y’all want a show? Bet,’” a voice can be heard saying in the background.

Later in the day, the 2Eleven actress shared some more reasons that she’s feeling thankful this year, along with some photos of her in an all-black outfit, hugging her baby bump in a super drippy, oversized Christian Dior hoodie. “#BoyMom in full effect…so thankful for my fans, friends, and family!”

She then threw in a joke, writing, “y’all wanna know what I’m not thankful for? A n*gga rushing me for no reason so I don’t get to do my makeup #pathetic.” Her man, Tracy T, commented, “better be thankful for the n*gga taking ya pictures.”

The Detroit-born recording artist’s initial pregnancy announcement from September was definitely one for the books. She posed nude, with just a sheer piece of fabric draping around her most private parts. “The Lord just keep on blessing me!” she wrote at the time. “Look it’s a baby in there, and today it’s the BMF premiere. I’m so overwhelmed with joy.”

Kanye West’s Thanksgiving Prayer Reflects On The Rapper’s Troubled Marriage & Presidential Run

As Kim Kardashian continues to flaunt her relationship with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, Kanye West continues to make it known that he’s holding out hope that the socialite will want to work on their issues and get back together with him.

In honour of today’s holiday, the 44-year-old took to Instagram to share a special prayer, reflecting on where he went wrong in the past, and how he’s grown since then.

A post shared by ye (@kanyewest)

“Hello, my name is Ye and this is my super super super super super long Thanksgiving prayer,” he begins. “On this Thanksgiving, I’m so thankful for family, my blood family, my fans, and our haters – we love you too, on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning, not the night before or the day, just the morning.”

West then revealed that he wrote this prayer on his way back from taking his “mini me,” Saint West, to his first football game. “Saint got to play catch with Tom Brady before the game,” he told listeners. “This is a God’s dream. My mini me is a mix of two of my favourite things, me and my wife’s face.”

The father of four then addresses a topic that he’s been speaking heavily on as of late – reconciling with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. “All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused. I take accountability for my actions.”

As he continues, Ye begins listing off some things he’s struggled with over the years, including drinking and his manic episodes, which have become more frequent as he’s failed to take his medication consistently. Ego and temper come next on the “Ultralight Beam” rapper’s list. “Now I know none of y’all would ever picture this,” he joked, “but sometimes, I scream, and that screaming might’ve helped me tell off everyone who doubted me in music, but that screaming did not help me keep my family together.”

The Thanksgiving prayer then addresses his “self righteous Christian” behaviour over the years. “Mix that with being rich, famous, and very very very very very very attractive, and you’ve got a Molotov cocktail ready to be thrown through the window of anyone who ever disagreed with me. I was arrogant with my Jesus,” he admits.

“Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat,” Ye continues, moving onto the subject of politics. “Being a good wife, she just wanted to protect me and our family. I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance, and that was hard for our marriage.”

The “Flashing Lights” rapper reveals that Kardashian was “embarrassed” by his poorly planned presidential run, particularly the part when he announced that he and his wife had almost aborted their first child together, North West. “All my dad had to say afterwards was, ‘write your speech next time, son,” Ye said.

The Yeezy creator also acknowledged his habit of profusely spending money, and the bad situations it got him in. “I’ve let people use me, I’ve had giant entourages, people around me just to make me feel good about myself. I’ve had to learn that I had to take accountability. We always judge and tell other people what they should do, but we can only take accountability for ourselves and our children.”

He finished, “this Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the family my wife has given me. I’m thankful for the life that God has given me, and I’m thankful for your time, attention, and patience. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
