LBP Poody Shares “I’m The One”

LPB Poody has been riding high off of the success of his viral hit single, “Batman.” The song earned him features from Lil Wayne and Moneybagg Yo, who both appeared on the remix. Weezy later offered Poody some serious praise, which raised the stakes for his forthcoming project.

On Friday, Poody shared his latest body of work, I’m The One in its entirety. The rapper kicks off the project with the titular track that finds him rightfully poppin’ his shit. “I’m the reason why the city still hot,” the Orlando MC raps off the rip.

I’m The One boasts 10 songs in total including the “Batman” remix. The project also includes appearances from Rick Ross and Yung Bleu.

YK Osiris Says He’ll Pay His Debt Back Starting January 2022

YK Osiris may have “paid” off his debt to Drake, but the singer still has a long list of people waiting to collect. However, we’re not sure if singing a few songs, as he did for Drake, will make the cut for the other rappers he owes.

Osiris took to social media to cheekily speak out on his money situation, claiming that he’ll be a new man with the new year. “All my debts are clear, okay,” he claimed. “All my debts are clear…starting January 1st.”

The singer also talked about his experience of clearing his $60K tab with Drake by performing his single “Worth It” for him. “Oh my God, y’all wish y’all could do that,” YK flexed. “I know y’all wish…Y’all wish y’all could show y’all talent just to pay off a debt. Wow. I say, wow. Y’all really out your got damn mind if you think I won’t gon’ get my red ass up and sing my motherf*cking song. Y’all really think that? You don’t get it, don’t you?”

While the list of collectors is unclear, the Florida native currently owes money to Boosie Badazz and Lil Baby. Earlier in November, a video of Lil Baby pressing Osiris for his $5,000 back, a debt he’s owed since April, went viral after they ran into each other at the jewelers. YK responded to fans on social media with a photo of bands of cash, tagging Lil Baby, but it’s unclear if the My Turn rapper ever got his money back.

Boosie Badazz also recently called YK out for owing him $1,200 for allegedly failing the milk crate challenge back in August.

It doesn’t look like YK is pressed for cash, having recently just purchased $325,000 earrings and flexing the receipt on Instagram. Retired football player Ochocinco clowned the singer on Twitter, saying that he got the same pair of earrings from Claire’s for $10.

“Don’t let no Ochococo come up on Instagram talking bout he went to Claire’s and got $10 earrings,” YK fired back. “Hey, I salute you brother. I’m not saying that’s even wrong. It’s your life and that’s your money. Do what you want to do with it. Ochococo mind your mutha….And I’m still rich bitch. Mind your business. Stay in your business. You can hit my DM, you ain’t got to do all that capping for Instagram, man.”

Do you think YK will keep his word and pay his debts back in the new year? Let us know in the comments.

Lil Baby Takes Money From Atlanta Kids In Confusing Video

Lil Baby turned 27 yesterday (Dec. 3), as the Atlanta rapper has been having outrageous success in the industry the past few years of his life. Baby spent his birthday in his hometown yesterday, as he geared up for his star-studded party at night.

During the day, however, Baby visited some young boys who sell water on the street corner in Atlanta. It is rumored that he visits these kids frequently, and often gives them large amounts of cash just for bottles of water. This time though, he was the one receiving.

Baby posted an Instagram story of him accepting cash from the kids, as opposed to giving it to them. The boys in the video seemed happy to give some of their money. But, fans could not understand why he would do this, as he is a millionaire star.

However, others justified Baby’s actions by reminding people that he gives back to his community and those water boys often, so they are just returning the favor.

At his party that night, Baby accepted even more gifts including a self-portrait, bracelets, chains, a 4PF ring to honor his label, watches, glasses, cash and much more. Other celebrities in attendance included Trina and Tiffany Haddish.

It seems that Baby’s birthday was a fruitful endeavor, but did he really need that extra cash from those water boys?

Check out the video of Lil Baby accepting their money below.

Styles P & Havoc Bring It For “YO 2 QB” On “Wreckage Manner”

For those who are simply in need of dope beats and lyrical excellence, Styles P and Havoc delivered on Friday. Packaged as their new joint effort, Wreckage Manner, Styles and Havoc came through with gritty New York rap music that isn’t meant to cater to the TikTok audience. Laced with 10 songs in total, entirely produced by Havoc, the Mobb Deep member, and the LOX MC delivered a body of work that’s meant to honor the streets and raw rap music.

The two pay homage to their respective stomping grounds on the song, “YO 2 QB.” Havoc revisits “Quiet Storm” as he and Styles P detail horrifying experiences from their come-ups in the streets. In many ways, it feels like a return to form for both artists. As Styles says, “This the old Ghost on that ra-ra.”

Quotable Lyrics
I am stone cold, I could ring Medusa’s bell
Tell that bitch to bow down, I’m greater than the king
Look in my eyes, I’m fire, I done chewed through hell
Done some shit on my lonely that you couldn’t believe
I ain’t trying to bring her homie, just some shit up my sleeve
‘Nother one on my waist, if I hit up your face
You got a girl? Tell that bitch to get ready to grieve

Future Joins DJ Snake On “U Are My High”

Future Hendrix has been evidently been missing in the fold this year. In fact, 2021 is shaping up to be the first year in his career where Future hasn’t pushed out a new body of work. His presence has continued to be felt across the rap game, though. He appeared on Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” alongside Young Thug, which debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, earning Fewtch his first #1 single of his career.

The rapper’s feature run continued this week with his new collaboration with DJ Snake. The French producer locks in with Future for a moody, slow-burning banger that dives into the HNDRXX side of Future. With a dash of EDM sprinkled in, the modernized sampling of The Gap Band’s “I Don’t Believe You Want to Get Up and Dance” merges perfectly with Future’s romantic verse.

Hand you the Benz key, hand you the Lamborghini
You elevated, physically, spiritually

Antonio Brown’s Former Chef Suing Him For $10K

Antonio Brown has been a drama magnet his entire NFL career. Most recently, his former personal chef, Steven Ruiz, exposed that Antonio purchased and used a fake COVID-19 vaccination card to bypass NFL protocols.

After Ruiz revealed this, the league launched an investigation into the claim, and concluded that Ruiz was correct. Brown was guilty of faking his vaccination status, and was suspended by the NFL for three games.

At the beginning of the season, Brown’s team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had announced their entire team was 100% vaccinated, so it seemed that AB fooled everyone with his fake vaccine card.

Through his attorney, AB announced Thursday (Dec. 2) that he was vaccinated, and will use his three game suspension to rest his ankle which has been facing injury issues.

However, now that the dust has settled in Brown’s vaccination status fiasco, Ruiz is still not done with AB. On Saturday (Dec. 4), the former chef told TMZ that he would be suing Antonio because he never paid him his $10,000 debt. Ruiz would regularly prepare meals for AB, and quit once he realized Brown was not paying him. Even after approaching Brown’s attorney, Antonio refused to pay, leading to the lawsuit: “The game plan now is to file a lawsuit and take it from there. People provide a service and you’ve got to pay for it. That’s it.”

Ruiz continued to say that even the vaccine debacle cold have been avoided if he had just paid Ruiz, so it seems like this was an elaborate plan by Steven to get back at AB: “If he had just probably paid me, you know what? He probably would still be getting paid in the NFL right now. He’d probably be playing the games that he could be playing and none of this would have even happened.”

Antonio Brown likely did not imagine is own chef could cause this much turmoil in his life, but that’s what happens when you employ somebody and don’t pay them.

Plumber Finds Cash Tied To Burglary Behind Walls Of Joel Osteen’s Church

Joel Osteen’s church was recently under fire for being a recipient of a $4.4 million PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loan, to which the church responded with statements of repaying the loan. However, recent developments may find extra cash in the church’s treasury.

A Houston plumber who had been doing repairs at Lakewood Church, where Ye previously spoke alongside the infamous televangelist Osteen, discovered $600,000 behind the insulation of a loose toilet.

The money had been reported stolen in a 2014 heist, when the church claimed that $200,000 in cash and $400,000 in checks were taken from the church safe. The money was never found, despite a $25,000 reward offered by the Crime Stoppers of Houston for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect at the time.

The plumber shared his experience when he called into a Houston radio show, revealing that he discovered the money stuffed into about 500 envelopes, hidden in the walls behind the restroom.

“There was a loose toilet in the wall, and we removed the tile,” he said on 100.3 FM, on “The Morning Bullpen With George Mo and Erik.” “We went to go remove the toilet, and I moved some insulation away and about 500 envelopes fell out of the wall.

Upon discovery, the plumber reported the incident to a maintenance supervisor, and the money was returned to the church. The money was confirmed by Houston authorities to be connected to the 2014 crime.

Upon inspection of the checks found, the police were able to tie the money back to the uncovered case. “Evidence from the recovered checks suggests this November case is connected to a March 9, 2014 theft report of undisclosed amounts of money at the church,” the police said in an official statement.

Despite the $25,000 reward offered years ago, police said that the statute of limitations for the reward has already expired. While there remains a  $5,000 reward, the money is only given if the information offered help in identifying or the arrest of a suspect. George Lindsey, a host of the show, noted that the plumber was frustrated with getting no news from authorities since he found the money on Nov. 10.

Noting that the plumber had essentially cracked a case that had gone unsolved for nearly a decade, Lindsey felt that the plumber was entitled to some sort of compensation.

“He’s the one who found it,” Lindsey said. “If he never had been doing that work behind that toilet, they would have never known that money was there.”
