Rvssian & Future Recruit Lil Baby For New Single “M&M”

Jamaican producer Rvssian has teamed up with Atlanta rapper Future for the brand new single, titled “M&M,” with a feature from Atlanta rapper Lil Baby. The track was released on Wednesday (December 15) through Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records.

The song is planked by a retro synth loop, which Lil Baby destroys for a fiery first verse and chorus before Fire Marshall Future comes through for the second verse. Future is listed as the main artist on the record, while Baby is featured.

“When I made the beat, I think it was pretty unique, because the synth was kind of like retro-ish, and I made it with the track, and I said, ‘Lil Baby, I think Lil Baby would kill it,'” said Rvssian about the song during an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. “I reached out to him, he loved the beat. It’s recorded a few months back when it was more heavy on lockdown, and recorded at his house, and he FaceTimed me, let me hear it, and I thought it was fire. And then, I wanted to put somebody else on, so I reached out to Future, and he loved it, and he killed it.”

Rvssian also praised Future’s skills during the interview, saying, “He definitely knows what to say to catch people’s ears. Some people call him a very talkative person, but I think that’s what makes his music unique and different. People just love it, especially with his melodies. For sure. I think that’s what he’s mastered over the years, really.”

Quotable Lyrics:

In the streets, Pluto bigger than Jigga
Got racks to my ear, nah, I can’t hear you
Come to the jeweler, it come to this mula
You might as well call me Godzilla
I got these thotties and hotties, exotics
Exotics got bodies on bodies, what’s up?
Real, I’m a rock star but way triller
I fucked on a pop star then hit a stripper

Doja Cat & Nicki Minaj’s “Say So” Remix Earns Them A New Guinness World Record

Over the past two years, women have solidified their position at the forefront of Hip-Hop culture, and 2020 especially saw some of our favorite femcees reach incredible new heights. In addition to being more present and dominant than ever, the women in rap made history last year as well, as two female rap collaborations made it all the way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Doja Cat’s “Say So” remix with Nicki Minaj was able to grab the top spot on the U.S. singles chart on May 16, 2020, and just three months later, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s sultry single “WAP” also reached the apex of the Billboard Hot 100. While both of the songs made history, it was Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj’s groovy, pop-rap collab that was able to crack the ceiling and open the floodgates.

Over a year later, that achievement has now been recorded in the history books, as the Guinness World Records have officially recognized the “Say So” remix as the first song from a female rap duo to become a Hot 100 chart-topper. While fans await Doja Cat’s response to the great news, Nicki has shared the news on her Instagram, with the caption, “No album/single out in 3 years. Cheers to 2022.”

Ye’s ‘Donda’ Bulletproof Vest Was Turned Into An NFT And Sold For A Lot Of Money

Fans began to grow impatient earlier this year while waiting months to hear Ye’s long-delayed album Donda. That’s why the rapper’s Donda listening parties were such a big deal. Ye took over stadiums, sleeping at one and building a replica of his child home in another, and played the entirety of his LP to eager fans. The events were so iconic that one of the bulletproof vests he wore to a listening party is being auctioned off for a lot of money — alongside an NFT that’s an exact digital replica of the vest.

After his Donda listening party in Atlanta was over, Ye apparently gifted his ballistic vest to one of the security guards working there that night. The security guard sold the clothing item back in August for $20,000, but now, it’s sold for even more than that. Auction company Christie’s come into possession of the vest. But rather than selling the vest by itself, Christie’s had an NFT made of it. According to NME, the vest and the NFT just sold for a whopping $75,000.

Sharing a video of the NFT on Instagram, Christie’s wrote:

“We are proud to offer a unique piece of music history: the bullet proof vest worn by Kanye during the August 5th debut of his DONDA album, complete with ballistics panels, hand painted DONDA and Kanye signed MBD, ‘my body different’, and the first 1-of-1 NFT of its kind sold at Christie’s, allowing this moment in music history to live on both physically and digitally.”

Adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit “Slate Blue” Release Date Revealed

Kanye West has some brand new sneaker models on the horizon and fans are curious to see what kind of colorways will be dropping in the future. One shoe that the Yeezy brand has teased as of late is the Adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit which is set to debut in a lovely “Slate Blue” offering, which can be seen in the official images below.

The shoe has a very unique construction that isn’t exactly conducive to a high performance basketball shoe. For instance, the upper is covered in Primeknit all while the cuff of the shoe has a sock-like feel to it. It remains to be seen just how supportive these kicks are, especially since the Primeknit isn’t reinforced with anything. This shoe seems to have Boost in the midsole, which will at least make them a bit more comfortable.

If you are hoping to get your hands on this brand new shoe, you will be able to do so as of tomorrow, December 16th, for a price of $300 USD. Pairs will be sold on the Confirmed App, so you can be sure these will be fairly limited. Let us know what you think, in the comments below, and stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates from the sneaker world.

Juice WRLD & Rick Ross First-Week Sales Projections

Juice WRLD’s second posthumous album, Fighting Demons, will not debut at #1 on the charts next week, despite star-studded features from Justin Bieber, Suga from BTS, Trippie Redd, Polo G, and more. That’s because, for yet another week, Adele will take the crown with 30.

As the year comes to a close, a projection for next week’s charts has been reported by HitsDailyDouble, showing that with another solid week of pure sales, Adele will be at #1 on the charts again in the next weekly cycle. She will total approximately 150,000 equivalent album units moved, whereas the runnerup, late Chicago rapper Juice WRLD, will start off at #2 with 125,000 units.

Taylor Swift, Michael Buble, and Olivia Rodrigo will round out the Top 5.

Other hip-hop releases on next week’s chart will include Drake’s Certified Lover Boy at around #8, Polo G’s Hall Of Fame at approximately #11, Doja Cat one spot below with Planet Her, and more.

The next debut on the chart belongs to Rick Ross, who is looking set to creep into the final spot of the Top 20 with 30,000 projected sales of his new album Richer Than I Ever Been in its first week out.

Considering all of the promotion that went into Rick Ross’ album rollout, a large number of hip-hop fans are saying this isn’t the best moment for Rozay, sales-wise.

Derrick Rose Frustrated Following Yet Another Knicks Loss

Derrick Rose and the New York Knicks had a very solid season in 2021. The team made it to the NBA playoffs as a four seed, and they seemed to be poised for a solid run this year. Unfortunately, things have not worked out that way for the Knicks as they currently have a record of 12-16, which is simply got good enough if they want to get back to the postseason.

Last night was especially difficult for the Knicks as they lost to the Golden State Warriors on the night that Steph Curry broke the all-time three-point record. After the game, Rose spoke to reporters about the loss and what he thinks the problem with the Knicks is right now. As he told The Athletic, it’s a multitude of things, but it’s hard to truly say what the concrete issue is.

“I really don’t know,” Rose said. “I can’t put a finger on it. If I could, sh*t, I’ll be screaming it. But I really can’t put a finger on it. Numbers don’t lie. It’s all in the numbers. However you want to break it down, we’ve just got to figure things out.”

After having lost four games in a row, the Knicks are now 12th in the Eastern Conference. The East is stacked this season, and it’s going to take a lot for this team to get over the hump and show that they truly are a top eight team in the Conference.
