Capella Grey Might Have Another One With “Talk Nice”

Capella Grey has his sights set on becoming the voice of the next decade and while his goals seem ambitious, they are definitely attainable. After seeing how the Bronx-raised recording artist impacted his city with the release of “Gyalis,” which was a song of the year candidate in New York, the 26-year-old is back with another short-and-sweet single, dropping his follow-up “Talk Nice” on Friday (December 17).

With a smooth mid-tempo Pelea Jibara sample, the self-produced record follows in the same steps as Capella’s previous hit “Gyalis,” clocking in at just under two minutes and leaving something to be desired by the listener. This formula seems to definitely be working for the rising star.

Capella recently capped off his phenomenal year with a spot on HNHH’s Breakout Artists of 2021 list. We also interviewed him for Day 4 of our 12 Days of Christmas series, which you can check out here.

What do you think of his new single “Talk Nice?” Let us know in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics:

Don’t even gotta say when I’m in town, she know
Don’t know her sign but she wanna fuck with a Leo
We got it litty out of nothin’ now
Went from overlooked to overbooked
Now, they gotta talk nice
Yikes, that’s tough
Now, they wanna switch and readjust (Ohh)
They was tryna act like they didn’t know us
Now that price going up, they could stay there

OTF Doodie Lo Sues Ex-GF FTN Bae Over Child Molestation Claims

Doodie Lo, a member of Lil Durk’s rap collective Only The Family, has filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend, rapper FTN Bae, over claims she made earlier this year that he sexually assaulted her then five-year-old son Wesley. According to an audio recording she shared online from her son, the little boy tearfully recalled an incident when he was allegedly assaulted by Doodie Lo, who forced three metal screws into the boy’s anus.

Doodie Lo has denied the allegations and this week, he filed paperwork against FTN Bae, accusing her of defamation and more.

“I Will Never Sit Back And Let Nobody Defame My Name My Character And What I Stand For This Is All Public Record I’m Not Letting Nobody Play With My Name,” wrote the rapper, sharing his lawsuit documents on Instagram.

FTN Bae became aware that Doodie Lo had made this a public matter so she went and shared her own documents, revealing that she filed to have his case dismissed.

“Anybody Can Sue for Whatever Reasons & Say Whatever In The Lawsuit. Here’s My Response From My Lawyer About His Little Lawsuit & Lack Of Evidence,” she wrote. “Don’t Gloat About A Law Suit That Was merely Filed. No Ruling Has Even Been Made. All This Man Is Worried About Is Money. Not Clearing His Name. Only Mad I Exposed Him. Leave Me Out Of It.”

Doodie Lo responded to her posts by sharing alleged leaked text messages sent from FTN Bae, where she allegedly says the rapper will walk free. He also posted an audio recording of FTN Bae explaining Doodie Lo’s housing situation, explaining where his bedroom is located in the house and who he lives with.

Check out how this situation has progressed with all of the posts below.

Jake Paul Accused Of Rocking A Fake Richard Mille

Jake Paul may have been wearing a fake Richard Mille in a recent photo – or that’s what @fakewatchbuster on Instagram is saying, anyway. The popular account has over 180,000 followers and regularly busts people for their artificial flexes, with the Ohio native being their latest victim.

“@jakepaul that’s a fake Richard Mille RM055 Bubba Watson white ceramic,” the caption of the photo dump reads. The first picture sees Paul flipping off the camera, the watch in question on his wrist, while holding a giant, colourful belt over his shoulder. “The case material looks plastic, not genuine ceramic,” the following slide explains, providing up close imagery of another Mille for comparison.

“The strap screws are too near each other. The shape of the case is way off. Wrong case size (too thick), [and] wrong shape of the strap,” other evidence listed by the inspector points out. The original post was shared by DJ Akademiks on his page, where he asked, “why they playing with [Jake Paul] like this?”

Trolls in the comments said things like “Akon gave it to him,” and “YB DON’T WEAR FAKE WATCHES.” Another comment pointed out that the entertainer has reportedly already admitted to “wearing fake shit,” and a Reddit post from September of 2020 shows an expert once again exposing Paul for allegedly buying his friend a fake watch.

Seconds into the clip, the man points out the fake Rolex box from the vlogger’s video. “This is made in China – nothing against China – but these boxes are fake.” At the end of the video, after being informed Paul bought it for his friend, the expert responds, “he’s not a very good friend then.”

Lil Durk’s New “Broadway Girls” Song With Morgan Wallen Is Odd, But It Makes A Lot Of Sense

We all know what happened with Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” The country-rap song ended up becoming the most certified song of all time and it kicked off a superstar career for the 22-year-old industry baby. As country and hip-hop continue to be the leading two music genres in 2021, we have officially found the next song to obsess over as Chicago rapper Lil Durk has connected with Tenessee-based country singer Morgan Wallen for a new song called “Broadway Girls.”

The two have been teasing the record on social media for a few weeks, with Lil Durk admitting that he’s a fan of Wallen. While the collaboration may seem odd on paper, it makes sense for a few different reasons. Morgan Wallen has the biggest album of the entire year sales-wise, so Durk could stand to gain a lot from working with the singer. And for Wallen, he needs to regain favor after controversially saying the n-word during a drunken rant outside of his home earlier this year, in a video captured by TMZ photographers.

Do you think this song might end up being a big hit on the radio? Let us know in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics:

Now there’s two things that you’re gonna find out
They don’t love you and they only love you right now
If I was smarter I’d stayed my ass at home
And leave them Broadway girls alone

Earlier this year, he collaborated with Lil Tjay on “Calling My Phone,” dropped off “Let Go My Hand” with J. Cole, worked with Khalid on “Retrograde,” and linked up with Isaiah Rashad and SZA on “Score.” A press release reveals that the 29-year-old’s follow-up efforts to his last album – 2018’s East Atlanta Love Letter – is set to arrive in 2022.

Quotable Lyrics:

This the same world, but it’s 6LACK’s world
This a black world, this a tax world
I done saved up for the AP
But I walked in with the black pearl
Just a young n*gga with a gold grill
Can’t believe I really made a whole mil
Then a whole mil, then some more mils
And some more mils, skippin’ no meals

Roddy Ricch, 21 Savage, & Kodak Black Slide On “Hibachi”

It has finally arrived… Roddy Ricch released his sophomore studio album LIVE LIFE FAST on Friday (December 17) after breaking out onto the scene two years ago with his debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. One of the most exciting artists to have come up in the last few years, many hip-hop fans have been waiting to hear just what the Compton-based rapper would do on his follow-up effort and the time has officially come.

As we dive into each song on LIVE LIFE FAST, many have been praising Roddy’s collaboration with Kodak Black and 21 Savage, called “hibachi.” The song, produced by Wheezy, kicks off with a chorus from Roddy, who raps that he might just cheat if his girl gives him attitude. He continues into his verse before Kodak Black takes over in his signature tone. Before the chorus returns, 21 Savage comes through for a standout verse, continuing a sensational feature run that has lasted much of this year.

Check out “hibachi” below and let us know what you think of the song, and LIVE LIFE FAST as a whole.

Quotable Lyrics:

Took a bad bitch to Hibachi in Huaraches
Got too many Jews on my squad, fuck a Nazi
Two hundred fifty cash, hit Japan and get some chopsticks
I’ve been with lil’ man, countin’ up bands, I ain’t gotta drop shit

Tyga Gets In The Holiday Party Spirit & Delivers “Tell Santa”

He’s known for his turn-up party anthems, so it makes sense that Tyga dropped a holiday-themed single to warm up these frigid months. As people are getting cozy by the fire and roasting chestnuts and whatnot, Tyga released “Tell Santa,” a track that once again boasts about women, money, and jewelry—those Rap star staples.

Last weekend, the rapper performed a few of his hits on the Rolling Loud stage where he was flanked by dancers who were shaking it face in the cold weather, and we can only imagine what he has planned for the “Tell Santa” visual. There wasn’t a rollout for this single so it seems to be yet another one-off, but fans are excited to hear what Tyga has in store for 2022. He’s been laying low since his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic abuse, an allegation that he has denied.

Stream “Tell Santa” and share your thoughts.
