Bobby Shmurda Speaks On How He Addressed His Sex Addiction

Bobby Shmurda is back in the spotlight following his release from prison earlier this year, and he’s needed to find healthy ways to cope with the trauma he was dealt with at a young age. The New York-based superstar has been readjusting back to real life in recent months, taking time to himself before releasing new music. In his personal time, Bobby reveals that he would use sex to keep his mind off the numerous traumas he’s lived through, but he realized quickly that he was developing an addiction.

“When I came home, I ain’t gonna lie… I just stopped like a month ago, I was having real sex addict problems,” said Bobby during a new interview with Hot 97. “I was wylin’. I was having threesomes, foursomes, fivesomes. I had to chill out, like last month I just stopped. I had to cut down.”

When asked why exactly he needed to chill, Bobby said, “You can’t be playing with people’s feelings like that. Real shit, every time you feel you get mad or something… Listen, [sex is] better than drugs, you know! Better than drugs and shooting people in the streets!”

He joked that to stop, he switched out his old phone and bought a new one. “You find yourself wylin’, like every other day you go, ‘Yo, what the fuck am I doing, bro?’ You get tired. I’m a Leo, I’m a passionate person.”

Google Under Investigation For Harassment & Discrimination Reports

Google has recently come under fire for the company’s alleged mistreatment of Black, female workers. California civil rights regulators are investigating, following alleged incidents of harassment and discrimination. The company has had a history of institutional racism even after its promises of workplace inclusion and equality.

Over the past few weeks, California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing has interviewed multiple Black women that have worked for Google’s parent firm, Alphabet Inc. The questions have been centered around the alleged complaints reported by two former employees.

Prior to the investigation, Google claimed that it focused on “building sustainable equity” for its Black employees. Prior to the investigation, the company had faced backlash over its treatment of Black employees. Timnit Gebru, one of their leading AI researchers, left the company in December of last year. She stated that she was fired while the company maintained that she resigned. “This institutional racism, it’s not even limited to Google. It’s most of these institutions in general, and specifically in the tech companies, are institutionally racist,” Gebru told the BBC.

In a recent statement to Reuters, they reassured its intentions for workplace inclusiveness. “Our goal is to ensure that every employee experiences Google as an inclusive workplace. We’ll continue to focus on this important work and thoroughly investigate any concerns, to make sure our workplace is representative and equitable,” Google said. Over the years, there have been many reports of racism directed toward Black employees. No updates have been reported, but are expected as the investigations continue to take place.

Stephen A. Smith Goes Off On Nets For Bringing Back Kyrie Irving

Stephen A. Smith is one of the most outspoken voices in sports media, and over the past couple of years, he has been especially harsh when it comes to Kyrie Irving. The Brooklyn Nets star has been a target of criticism this year thanks to his feelings towards the COVID-19 vaccine, and Smith has made sure to voice his displeasure over Kyrie’s beliefs. In return, Smith has been hit hard with criticism of his own, but that hasn’t stopped him from cranking out the hot takes on a permanent basis.

Today, Smith finally got to react to the news that Kyrie would be joining the Nets for the rest of their away games this season. In fact, Smith offered up a classic rant as he went off on Kyrie, noting that the point guard is always looking for excuses to not play any games. Needless to say, Smith doesn’t think this move is going to work out for the Nets.

“This is a guy in Kyrie Irving, who finds every excuse under the sun, not to show up to work,” Smith said. “Ladies and gentleman, Kyrie Irving has been in the NBA for 10 years. He has played more than 60 games, four times. Every single year, there is an excuse to take off of work. He’s got emotional issues. Got stuff on his mind. What the hell did the riots at the US Capitol have to do with Kyrie Irving? How is that an excuse, not to show up to work? Everybody else had to show up to work.”

Smith went on to say that Kyrie doesn’t have the same reputation as guys like LeBron James or Steph Curry, who typically play as many games as they can. It rubs Smith the wrong way that Kyrie can get away with his antics, and it’s ultimately the catalyst for his rant.
