Gilbert Arenas Offers No Mercy To Kwame Brown

Over the past year or so, Kwame Brown has been very vocal about the people he despises in the basketball world. He has gone after quite a few names, and he has even dissed up fans who try to discredit what he has done. After all, Brown was one of the most slandered players in the NBA during his 10-year career, and regardless of where he went, he was not particularly well-received. Regardless, Brown feels like people are always trying to play him, and it has led to a chip on his shoulder mentality.

Recently, Brown went at none other than Gilbert Arenas, who used to be his teammate on the Washington Wizards. Brown claims that Arenas stopped him from getting the bag, and that he was a backstabber to his own brethren.

Arenas has been known for his IG rants and with Brown coming at him, he decided to go off. In the Instagram post below, Arenas basically called Brown a scrub who was terrible during his career. Arenas says fans used to boo Kwame out of his own building and that moving forward, he will continue to give Brown the smoke.

Per Arenas:

“I have 54 minutes of who u were as a wizard nothing but truth supported by facts and articles so let’s not do this anymore OKAY? Bra you were booed by EVERY CITY u played for, how are u gonna win an internet battle with me ? them fans nicknamed u “boo boo brown” becuz u played like some shit and u want SMOKE with me? not 1 minute of this video is about u off the court just yo hoe as tendencies on the court. Gil can u tell them not to use the smoke machine to call our names, it’s messing with my vision and breathing #facts telling his followers he’s an alpha male  more like a gremlin ” Nigga came with so many instructions when it came to hooping” (don’t pass the ball to me first 3 plays, gotta warm up)(can we start the layup line on the left side, becuz the lights on the right, hurts my eyeballs)(can u switch shorts with me, they gave me 52 and u 54, I’m alittle faster in 54’s)(hey Gil coach wants me to play Chris bosh str8 up, can u go tell him we might need to double he will listen to u)(I don’t wanna play home games becuz they booing me)Kwame a alpha male is a mindset not physical attributes. a alpha wouldn’t be on the internet complaining how everyone treated him and blaming people for why his career didn’t go the way it should have. A alpha male isn’t a victim they create victims guess yo momma cooking was missing a few male ingredients BOY everybody go to “basketball reference” type in Kwame brown…under his name at the top u will see his nickname (coffee) as in John Coffey, that big soft ass niggas from green mile his NBA nickname was basically (BETA) this is a lose lose for u MR brown…I DONT wanna post the video so do what u normally do when I give u orders, just walk away ya beta boy. PS amber rose is having her annual slut walk this summer, gone out there with yo little sign “#bustlife male ho’s have feelings too, black boy magic.” THIS POST IS JUST A WARN SHOT, u keep fucking with me, the video will be posted and it’s worse. I WANT VIOLENCE the old Gil is back.”

It remains to be seen how Brown will respond to this, although we imagine it will be with fireworks. Until then, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates on this story.

Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, & Eminem Delivered A Posse Cut For The Ages With “Forever”

Weeks before Kanye West would go into a self-imposed exile due to his MTV VMA antics, he appeared a star-studded track that was originally released as a rather obscure cut featuring Lil Wayne, a pre-Thank Me Later-era Drake, and Kidd Kidd. The 2015 XXL Freshman was ultimately dropped from the final version of the track, but he was replaced with a Relapse-era Eminem. Together, all four artists delivered a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration with “Forever,” an undeniable posse cut for the ages.

Looking back at it, it’s hard to believe that “Forever” was even able to come to fruition, but thanks to a 2009 documentary about LeBron James, it did. The rare Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West collab served as the second track of the More Than A Game official soundtrack, which also boasted plenty of incredible contributions from artists such as Jay-Z, Charlie Wilson, Mary J. Blige, T.I., Chris Brown, Soulja Boy, Tyrese, Tank, and Omarion.

So in honor of LeBron James’ 37th birthday, revisit Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Kanye West’s “Forever” below. More than 12 years after its release, who do you think had the best verse?

Quotable Lyrics

You dealin’ with a few true villains
Who stand inside of a booth, truth-spillin’
And spit true feelings until our tooth fillings
Come flyin’ up out of our mouths, now, rewind it
Payback, motherfucker
For the way that you doubted me, how’s it taste?

Tyler Lockett Describes Horrific COVID-19 Symptoms

Tyler Lockett has been a tremendous talent for the Seattle Seahawks over the past few years. Just a couple of weeks ago, the wide receiver tested positive for COVID-19, and it forced him to miss a game. Lockett eventually came back to the team as they lost to the Chicago Bears, and fans were relieved to see Lockett in the lineup.

Now, however, Lockett is being open and honest about his experience with the virus. As he told reporters today, he had a plethora of symptoms that are ultimately pretty worrying. Just like Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson who lost 10 pounds, Lockett ended up losing eight.

“Tyler Lockett describing his battle with COVID. Says he was very exhausted, could barely move, chest hurting, throat hurting, anxiety, vomiting. Had no energy, barely eating – says he lost like 8 pounds. Also had some breathing issues,” reporter Michael-Shawn Dugar wrote.

In a tweet from Bob Condotta, it was revealed that while Lockett played last week, he was not in the best shape imaginable. Now, however, he is feeling a lot better as the Seahawks look to show up and show out against the Detroit Lions.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you the latest updates from around the NFL world.

Russell Wilson Reveals His Goals For The Rest Of His Career

Russell Wilson had a very successful start to his career in the NFL as he immediately won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, this success tapered off after going to a second Super Bowl in 2015. Wilson always has a solid start to the season, but the team trails off at the end. This year, the Seahawks have had numerous problems on the field, and there are rumors that Wilson will want to bounce due to the team’s lack of performance.

Wilson has been adamant that he wants to stay in Seattle and ride things out. At this point, it’s hard to imagine Wilson playing for any other team, especially given all that he has done in the community.

While speaking to reporters today, Wilson made the revealed what he hopes to do with the rest of his NFL career. As Bob Condotta reports, Wilson is looking to win three more Super Bowls to end his time in the league. He was also asked about whether or not he could do it in Seattle, and as it turns out, Wilson is hoping for this to be the case.

This should be good news for Seahawks fans who have been hyper-aware of Wilson’s current predicament. Hopefully, these comments will help quell some of the rumors that continue to circulate.

“The Joe Budden Podcast” Boasts Insane Year-End Stats After Rory & Mal Split: Report

At the end of every year, fans and artists alike go to social media to share their year-end streaming numbers, and this week, The Joe Budden Podcast has come forward with an impressive stats sheet of its own. This year notoriously found both Rory and Mal — two of the show’s longest-running cohosts — booted from the show after an irreparable rift between Joe Budden and Rory, so countless fans have been checking to see if its viewership faltered throughout all of the drama.

However, The Joe Budden Podcast‘s self-reported numbers suggest that it hasn’t. Additionally, all of the numbers featured in its “2021 Audio Breakdown” exclude views on Patreon, and even with that major audience being unaccounted for in the year-end rundown, it appears that the JBP is showing no signs of stopping.

According to HipHopDXThe JBP managed to accumulate over two million plays per week for a total of 104,000,000 plays in 2021, despite the Rory and Mal-related drama. Furthermore, the podcast boasted a 78% average completion rate while releasing an average of two podcasts, which averaged out at three hours and 15 minutes each, every week.

Check out the full infographic, posted by The Joe Budden Podcast‘s official Twitter account, below.

While many fans have been quick to admit that they were wrong to assume that the podcast would fail without Rory and Mal, others have pointed out one of the glaring statistics featured on the stat sheet: the “Countries Reached” section. The JBP reports that it reached 214 countries in 2021, but some fans aren’t too sure about that figure, considering that the United Nations only recognizes 195 countries in the world. Whether that number was padded or merely the result of a typo, the rest of the numbers featured in The Joe Budden Podcast‘s “2021 Audio Breakdown” are definitely impressive.

Are you surprised that Joe Budden’s podcast is still doing so well following Rory and Mal’s exit earlier this year? Let us know in the comments what you think about these year-end numbers.

Fivio Foreign Previews “Say My Name” Song Sampling Destiny’s Child

Having the best year by far of his career in 2021, it looks like next year’s campaign might be even most impactful for New York rapper Fivio Foreign. The 31-year-old drill rapper performed the verse of his lifetime on Kanye West’s “Off The Grid,” which was a very obvious verse of the year contender. Now, it looks like he plans to follow that up with his highly-anticipated single “Say My Name,” which he has been teasing for a few months.

As his team looks to lock down a sample clearance for Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” on the record, Fivio appears to have finished the recording and mixing process, sharing a sample of what to expect after adding a female vocalist to the track.

“Guess who,” wrote Fivio, previewing the song on TikTok. The record appears to feature Queen Naija, who hinted that it’s her voice in the comments.

Back when we interviewed Fivio at Rolling Loud in New York a few months ago, he spoke about this song and said that, because Beyoncé is signed to Columbia like him, the process of clearing her sample was easier than some may have thought.

“She’s signed to Columbia! But I fuck with Beyonce. Like I’ve been a fan of Beyonce since I was young. So that’s what’s coming up next. You know me, I stick to the script,” he said at the time.

It looks like “Say My Name” is still being planned for his next big single, considering his promo this week. What do you think of the record?
