Ayesha Curry Addresses Open Marriage Rumors

Ayesha Curry has officially addressed the salacious rumors that were circulating a few weeks ago that she and her husband, Stephen Curry, are in an open marriage with side hookups. The reports came from an unconfirmed anonymous source and they have officially been proven false after Ayesha responded to a commenter on social media and told them, “Don’t disrespect my marriage.”

The story seemed pretty unbelievable in the first place but now, Ayesha Curry is putting a stop to it entirely. Sharing photos from Steph’s recent cover shoot with GQ, Ayesha responded to a commenter who trolled her, saying, “But yet you still want an open relationship smh, if I were him you woulda been sent to the streets already.”

“Don’t believe everything you read,” replied Ayesha. “Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don’t disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you.”

While her response was directed at the commenter, it can definitely apply to anybody who believed the rumors, as well as the reporters who shared the story across the internet.

Bola Osundairo Challenges Jake Paul: “It’s Time For You To Face A Boxer”

Bola Osundairo, one of the brothers involved in Jussie Smollett’s scandal, says he wants to fight Jake Paul. Osundairo challenged the YouTuber-turned-boxer during a recent interview with TMZ Sports.

“Kick rocks. More like the great white hype. And I want you Jake Paul, and I’m coming after you. And we’re gonna wipe the hype,” Osundairo said. “Quit running. It’s time for you to face a boxer. I’m not too advanced, you probably started before me. So we probably have the same amount of experience. What are you running from?”

Osundairo also called out Paul for his choice of opponents: “Stop going after old washed-up UFC fighters. They’re not boxers. They don’t want to box you. Leave them alone.”

Paul, who remains undefeated in the ring, recently defeated Tyron Woodley for the second time.

In addition to Paul, Osundairo says he also wants to go on to fight Tommy Fury, Anderson Silva, and several others.

“We’ll fight Tommy Fury. We’ll fight Julio Cesar Chavez. Anderson Silva,” he said. “See I’m naming real boxers, or people who actually do stuff in boxing. We’ll fight any of them. And eventually down the line. We’re gonna fight Canelo.”

LeBron James Leaves Gunna Hanging After Dapping Up Lil Baby

LeBron James absolutely dominated for the Los Angeles Lakers last night, scoring thirty-five points in a loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. Everybody in the crowd was in awe over Ja Morant’s sensational chase-down block and LeBron’s performance and following the game, James spent some time with fans before heading back to the locker room. He went over to Lil Baby and Gunna, who attended the game and sat courtside, to dap up Lil Baby but he left immediately after, seemingly not noticing that Gunna was also with the rapper.

The moment was captured on video, showing LeBron excitedly giving Lil Baby a handshake with a big smile on his face. He walked away afterward, not giving Gunna the same treatment. One would think that being such a hip-hop lover, Bron has probably been listening to several of the songs on Gunna’s new DS4EVER album. He seemingly never noticed Young Wunna on the sidelines though, despite him being right next to Baby.

LeBron has not spoken on the moment, which is going viral on social media. We will keep you updated if and when he does.

Do you think he purposely snubbed Gunna or did he not even know the rapper was right there? Watch the video below.

Grizzlies Minority Owner Justin Timberlake Broke His Social Media Hiatus To Promote Ja Morant’s All-Star Campaign

In his third season, Memphis Grizzies guard Ja Morant has risen to full-fledged stardom. Averaging 24.7 points, 6.7 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals on 57.5 percent true shooting, he seems en route to his first career All-Star berth. He’s been awesome and is vital to the Grizzlies’ 28-14 record that sees them just a game back of the three seed out West.

Last week, when initial returns on All-Star votes were released, Morant sat third among West guards, about 118,000 votes behind Luka Doncic for a starting spot. So, on Tuesday, Grizzlies minority owner Justin Timberlake ended his self-imposed social media hiatus to advocate for the high-flying playmaker’s All-Star campaign.

Fan votes compose just half of the criteria for selecting All-Star starters, but Timberlake’s efforts surely won’t hurt. Stephen Curry has nearly two million more votes than Doncic and Morant, while Klay Thompson is fourth, more than 300,00 votes behind Morant. Among fans, it seems like a two-man race between Doncic and Morant to join Curry as a starter.

Morant and the Grizzlies are riding an eight-game winning streak and have the NBA’s fifth-best record this season. They’ll have a chance to make it nine in a row and add another layer to Morant’s All-Star hopes when they welcome Curry’s Golden State Warriors to town Tuesday evening.

An ‘Encanto’ Tune Has Landed Lin-Manuel Miranda His First Top-Ten Song On The ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 Chart

On last week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and other vintage holiday tunes were still dominating the top ten spots. On the new chart dated January 15, though, we’re back to non-Christmas programming, as holiday tunes are out of the top ten and Adele’s “Easy On Me” is back to No. 1 for an eighth total week.

Perhaps the top-ten song that stands out most, though, is “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from the new Disney movie Encanto. The track — which is credited to Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz, and Encanto Cast — jumped from No. 50 last week up to No. 5 this week, making it the first top-five song from a Disney movie since Frozen‘s “Let It Go.” Aside from those two, other Disney songs to crack the top five include Vanessa Williams’ “Colors Of The Wind” from Pocahontas, Elton John’s “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” from Tarzan, and Peabo Bryson and Regina Bell’s “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.

Furthermore, “Bruno” is Lin-Manuel Miranda’s first top-ten hit, as he wrote the song (and all the others from the movie). The song is also the first top-ten track for all of the credited artists. Also, speaking of Elton John, his and Dua Lipa’s “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)” rose to No. 7 this week, making it his first top-ten hit in the US since “Candle In The Wind”/”Something About The Way You Look Tonight” in 1997.

It’s a big week for Encanto, as it was revealed yesterday that the movie’s soundtrack is No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire Announces A Tribute Compilation Album, ‘Long Live Dolph’

In honor of the late Young Dolph, the Memphis rapper’s label Paper Route Empire has planned a compilation album featuring tributes from his proteges and friends. Titled Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, the compilation will feature Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney, Key Glock, Snupe Bandz, and more, and is planned for release on January 21.

Paper Route CEO Daddyo told Rolling Stone, “My best friend, brother, and loyal business partner Dolph was loved and admired by people all over the world. He led by example and influenced so many people both near and far. The world will never be the same without Dolph but I know he’d want me to continue his legacy by working hard to push all our artists to the next level and make PRE an international brand. I hope his fans love it as much as I do.”

The first single from the album is “LLD” by Jay Fizzle, Dolph’s cousin and one of his PRE artists. You can check it out below.

Dolph was killed in a shooting in front of a local bakery in his hometown. Police revealed one of the suspects was 23-year-old Justin Johnson, who was later seen wearing Dolph’s PRE chain but was not affiliated with the late rapper.

Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph is due 1/21 via Empire and PRE.

“Power Book IV: Force” Trailer Teases Plenty Of Intriguing Drama Ahead Of February Premiere

The premiere of Starz’s Power Book IV: Force is just weeks away, and the newly released trailer which arrived on Monday, January 10th is doing nothing but building anticipation and intrigue surrounding the 50 Cent-produced series.

In a nearly two-minute-long visual, we’re introduced to familiar faces like Joseph Sikora, who plays Tommy Egan. Following the death of his friend Ghost, and his girlfriend LaKeisha, he decides to take a vulnerable dive into his past, running away from New York for a fresh start in Chicago, where he ultimately gets caught up in the city’s drug game.

“New York is over, this is my chance,” Tommy says in the preview of the upcoming show. As Complex reports, he “finds himself upsetting a crime family” in Chi City, and we see a man named Walter Flynn informing him that he’s made some sort of “impression” on people in the area.

When speaking with PEOPLE Sikora explained that his character is “lost” in Power Book IV, seeing as he can’t return to NYC. “He lost his brother Ghost. He lost the woman he loves, Holly, and their unborn child. He lost Keisha. His mother is non-existent,” the 45-year-old actor said.

“We’ve always seen Tommy with something. We’ve seen what he hates, but also what he loves – and he’s lost both. He’s lost any connection he’s had. Everybody [is] against him and he’s burned a lot of bridges… I think the problem Tommy runs into is that Chicago looks and feels close enough to New York, and he thinks, ‘Oh, this will be easy.’ And it’s not that easy.”

Sikora also told the outlet that other familiar faces would be returning alongside him, although “that doesn’t necessarily mean the character is truly there or alive.” Other cast members include Tommy Flanagan, Lucien Cambric, Anthony Flemming III, Kris D. Lofton, Shane Harper, Gabrielle Ryan, Lili Simmons, and Issac Keys.

Watch the trailer for Power Book IV: Force, premiering Sunday, February 6th on STARZ below.
