Tyrese & Zelie Timothy Back Together After Brief Split

Earlier this week, Tyrese took to Instagram to share some unfortunate news just before Valentine’s Day. According to him, his fiancée Zelie Timothy had broken up with him, claiming that he included too many tracks about his ex-wife Samantha Lee on his latest project, Beautiful Pain. Previously, he revealed that the album was largely inspired by their rocky divorce. “Me and Zelie just broke up over some d*mb sh*t,” he explained. “She demanded that I cancel my ALBUM because there’s too many songs about my ex on there.. f*ck does that even mean?”

Luckily for Tyrese, however, the two of them were able to make a mends pretty quickly. Yesterday (February 14), he hopped on Instagram once again to share that they’ve gotten back together. He unveiled a carousel full of sweet photos of the two of them together, showing off their rekindled romance.

Tyrese & Zelie Timothy Celebrate Valentine’s Day

“If apologizing would’ve taken me another two weeks, I would’ve did it because you’re worth it. I’m sorry babe,” he captioned the carousel. “I love you happy Valentines. @zelietimothy you ARE the BEAUTY that I’ve discovered in my pain…. Tyrese.Tv is live for only 8 more hours…… She’s giving me dirty looks now writing this loooonnngggg a** caption lol.” As expected, the speedy reconciliation has left commenters confused, as it was only a couple of days ago that Tyrese announced their breakup publicly. Nonetheless, fans appear to support the reunion.

Clearly, the embattled lovebirds didn’t let the brief intermission get in the way of their holiday. “We lock’d in,” Zelie commented on the post alongside a gold key emoji. Tyrese Explains How Songs About His Exes Led To His Fiancee Breaking Up With Him

Tyrese has revealed that his fiancée, Zelie Timothy, broke up with him over some “dumb sh*t.” Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the singer explained that Timothy demanded he cancel his new album, Beautiful Pain, because he sings about his ex-wife on the project. “My lawyers, my managers — everybody’s pissed,” he told viewers. “I just released my double album today, but it’s only available for ten hours.”

In the caption, he explained: “… My superbowl plans are f****d.. power outage in my neighborhood so I’m going at em,” he wrote. “And me and Zelie just broke up over some dumb s**t… Remember this.. She demanded that I cancel my ALBUM because there’s too many songs about my ex on there.. f**k does that even mean?”

Fans weren’t all supportive of the drama in the comments section of his post. “Tyrese we arent going on this emotional rollercoaster with you and your girlfriend yall will be back together tomorrow,” one user wrote. “Take us out the group chat. We love you tho.” Another defended the singer: “He’s still hurt of the separation/ divorce with his wife. He’s in pain and has been. Hopefully we can heal through ur music with u. Tyrese’s Girlfriend Says She Was More Into Paul Walker At First

Tyrese’s girlfriend Zelie Timothy recently revealed that she was more into Paul Walker at first during an Instagram Live session. Moreover, they hopped on the Gram to dish out some more details concerning their relationship and to generally just have a good time with viewers. Furthermore, when asked about how they met, the actor and singer said he slid into the model and influencer’s DMs. Then, Timothy revealed that she actually wasn’t that interested in him at first, instead preferring his Fast & Furious costar Paul Walker as her “type.” While discussing her emotions, she made sure to pay tribute to the tragically lost actor.

“My type was actually Paul Walker. Rest in peace,” Zelie remarked while caressing Ty. “But [Tyrese] wasn’t my type at all. And my type is not ‘white.’ I’m just saying I was more interested in Paul.” Afterwards, he told her “Don’t touch me,” clearly not super pleased with her words, even though she likely said it with no ill will. Still, she went further in. “Even when I met [Tyrese], I was like, ‘Eh, he’s kind of old.’ I just like his smile. It’s pretty cool. His personality … His personality was OK.”

Tyrese’s Girlfriend Says Paul Walker Was More Of Her Type

“This went really bad,” the singer and actor stated. “This just went really bad really fast. I’m getting off Live.” Despite his pleas, his girlfriend wasn’t finished. “He didn’t understand the Instagram model thing, so he would always talk down on Instagram models,” she continued. “So you wanted the homie; you didn’t want me. You said I’m old,” he replied. “I never said I wanted the homie, I just said he was cuter,” Zelie responded. “You know all this already. I wasn’t your type either. So relax. And, yeah, so now we’re here, and it’s an actual, somewhat of a love story, which is crazy.”

Actually, the one thing that Tyrese would probably agree with is that last point, as he shared a loving message for Zelie on their anniversary. “Happy Anniversary to a true God send… I love you and appreciate you…. The most patient kind, loving and understanding woman ever as most could imagine… 2 years today we said YES to taking this unexpected beautiful journey through the highs and the lows. I just want you to know over and over again privately and publicly.
